Easy looking math equation proves tricky for people - do you know the rule to solve the sum in 30 seconds?
The equation in questions is: 15 - 15 × 4 ÷ 2 = ?
At first glance, it looks like a basic grade school math problem.
But thousands of users on X (formerly Twitter) were left stumped.
Bholanath Dutta, who posts under the handle @BholanathDutta, shared the math problem with his followers this week.
He shared the equation alongside the caption: 'Can you solve this?'
Users commented with mixed responses.
Some people guessed 15, others guessed -15.
Some said 2, while others even threw out wild numbers like 45.
See if you can solve this equation in 30 seconds or less.
But first, here's a hint: Ever heard of PEMDAS?
The age-old acronym guides you through the proper order for solving a complicated calculation like this one.
It stands for Parentheses, Exponents, Multiplication, Division, Addition, and then Subtraction.
Using that method, the solution is easy. There are no parentheses or exponents, so multiplication is first.
The correct answer was -15.
15 - 15 × 4 ÷ 2 = -15
So why did it trip people up? It all comes down to the order of operations or PEMDAS, the rule many haven't thought about since high school.
Here's the breakdown:
First, do the multiplication and division from left to right:
15 × 4 = 60
60 ÷ 2 = 30
Then subtract:
15 - 30 = -15

Horror after little boy climbs on the OUTSIDE of huge slide...then loses his grip
Park-goers in Philadelphia got the scare of a lifetime when a little boy climbing on top of a massive slide lost his grip and plunged to the ground. The heart-stopping fall took place at FDR Park in South Philadelphia, where a group had gathered to celebrate a family reunion, 6abc reported. A bystander's video showed that the toddler managed to crawl on the outside of the enclosed slide at Anna Verna Playground as a crowd of several people watched from below. A worried family member realized the boy was in danger and told him to come back down. One person appeared to be attempting to climb up the slide to reach the boy when the youngster slipped. As he fell, the group on the ground rushed in to break the boy's fall. A man attending the reunion said his cousin swooped in just in time. 'After he stopped the initial impact, or the force from him falling, it softened the blow,' Rafael Miles told 6abc of his cousin's heroic actions. 'He hit the ground. But it wasn't like a very serious impact, so luckily he was there.' The quick-thinking response saved the boy from serious injury.

10 best dishwasher tablets for sparkling clean glasses and crockery
If you don't have the time or energy to spend hours at the sink, a dishwasher can help you breeze through kitchen clean-ups. But what you use to clean your dishes is just as important as the appliance. Dishwashers need good dishwasher tablets for gleaming glasses and pristine pots and pans. Whether you're tackling baked-on pasta dishes or cloudy wine glasses, the best dishwasher tablets can make all the difference between a disappointing rinse and a showroom finish. But with so many options on the market, from all-in-one pods to plastic-free tablets, finding one that delivers can be tricky. Good dishwasher tablets combine powerful cleaning agents with rinse aid and salt, removing the need for extra products. They should also work well on short or eco cycles, and shouldn't leave behind a soapy film or chemical smell. To help separate the sparkling from the sub-par, we tested a wide range of dishwasher tablets to find options that performed well across different loads, from greasy baking trays to delicate glassware. How we tested Over the course of two weeks, I tested dishwasher tablets on a variety of loads in my kitchen. During testing, the tablets tackled everything from greasy roasting trays and plates covered in pasta sauce to wine glasses and cutlery. To keep things consistent, I stacked the dishwasher the same way each time and ran standard and eco cycles to see how each tablet handled different settings. I assessed these tablets on several criteria: Cleaning: the most basic metric, I ensured all of these tablets worked on tough, baked-on food like lasagna and tea stains. Dissolution: I needed all of these tabs to dissolve in every cycle; there are few things as annoying as leftover dishwasher tablet powder coating your dishes. Watermarks: I wanted glasses to come out sparkling, with no watermarks or residue. Eco credentials: Many dishwasher tablets contain phosphates that can pollute waterways. I looked for tablets free from phosphates and chlorine. Price per wash: Crucially, I wanted these tablets to be affordable, so I worked out the price per wash to see which tablets offer the best value.
