However, this method is wrong because the multiplication and division go in the order they appear in the equation, according to the rules of PEMDAS. Multiplication does not have to done first just because it's in the acronym before division. Others got 4 by doing the addition - which comes second to last in PEMDAS - first. 75+25=100. The taking 5x5=25. And taking the 100÷25=4. However, being that there are no parentheses or exponents and multiplication and division come in the order they are in the equation, you have to start with division, then multiply, then add.
