Jordan dispatches new 65-truck aid convoy to Gaza
The convoy was the latest in a series of aid missions reflecting Jordan's steadfast commitment, from both its leadership and people, to alleviate the worsening humanitarian crisis in the war-torn enclave.
JHCO Secretary-General Hussein Shibli told Al Mamlaka TV that Jordan continues to deliver aid to Gaza through both land convoys and airdrops, ensuring that assistance reaches civilians by all possible means.
Over the past two weeks, Jordan has dispatched a total of 282 aid trucks, of which 220 have successfully entered the Gaza Strip, Shibli said. He also noted that the organisation was preparing an additional 60 trucks to be sent on Monday, with another 60 scheduled for dispatch on Thursday.
Shibli stressed that delivering aid into Gaza remains extremely challenging due to deteriorating conditions on the ground, but reaffirmed Jordan's commitment to sustaining its humanitarian support.
