Eve interview: Tour with Nelly, Ja Rule, where to buy tickets
Eve has returned to the party.
After a nine-year hiatus — save for a handful of one-off concerts and festival appearances — the hitmaker is returning to the stage with co-headliners Nelly and Ja Rule on their summer 2025 'Where The Party At Tour.'
And, now, nearly a decade removed from the spotlight, the Philadelphia native and mother to a three-year-old is excited to deliver her classic chart-toppers with a twist to her fans.

'I know people are coming to hear the hits and I pretty much keep it to that but there are some newer tracks, too,' the Grammy-winner told The New York Post in an exclusive interview. 'Between the choreography, themes and visuals, the actual show itself is very modern. I keep it upbeat.'
Based on concert footage from a recent gig of hers in London shared on Instagram, it's abundantly clear Eve's telling the truth. Her stage show looks as lively, raucous, high-octane and adventurous as any she's ever put on over the course of her 27-year career.
Or as she humbly said 'it's a good time and there's a great energy.'
If you want to see Eve live and 'have ya mind blown,' the 'Where's The Party At Tour' wil be in the Tri-State for a trio of gigs these next few weeks.

First up, the 'Where The Party At Tour' is slated to drop by Holmdel, NJ's PNC Bank Arts Center on Saturday, July 26.
Shortly after, the '00 hitmakers swing into Long Island's Jones Beach Theater on Sunday, July 27. Finally, they'll rock Buffalo's Darien Lake Amphitheater on Friday, Aug. 1.
From there, the 27-show 'Party' stretches all the way into September.

Eve interview
The talented singer/rapper took us behind the scenes of the tour and filled in the gaps on everything we wanted to know. Here's what she had to tell us about 'Where The Party At.'
What songs do you take to the stage on tour?
Songs I know people want to dance to. 'Who's That Girl,' 'Gangsta Lovin'' and lot of things in between. My favorite songs to play these days are 'Blow Your Mind' and 'Satisfaction.' My dancers are incredible. So, I give them some shine. My DJ is amazing as well, so he gets some time. It's a party the whole show. I just want people to come and have a good time.
What makes these co-headliner shows special?
Nelly, Ja Rule and I come from this era of Hip-Hop that was just incredible. There was a a certain sound. There was a certain aura and that's what makes it special.

And Nelly's got the Saint Lunatics on stage. His dancers are incredible. Obviously, his track list is amazing as is Ja Rule's. It's gonna be hit after hit after hit.'
What's it like touring with your husband and three-year-old?
'My husband has always come with me and my bonus kids when I've performed but I've never had a three-year-old on a tour, so we'll see how that goes. But my mother is also gonna be on tour and my brother, so it's gonna be a family affair.
Have how have you grown as a performer these past few years?
What excites me about performing these songs that I've done for so long is being able to visually give them new life with dancing and choreography. Like with 'Who's That Girl,' I had a female trumpet player perform with me at one of the shows in London, and she is in the video for Who's That Girl.' We've also found footage of women of color throughout history who played the trumpet and horns. I wanted to give that song a little more weight, make it mean something a little more and teach people some things too.
What's the coolest part of Nelly's portion of the show?
In Europe, he had a VIP section on stage, and I think that is a really cool concept. They play out a whole thing about letting them into the VIP section with security, and that's dope, being on stage with an artist and becoming a part of the performance.
What should people come why should people come out to your live show?

We all need some levity at this point in our lives and if we can help you go back to a place in your life where you were having the best time, let the music transport you. Come and relive your high school years or bring bring your kids.
t'll be a good night out. Come and enjoy yourself.'

'Happy Gilmore 2' star Haley Joel Osment makes first red carpet appearance since arrest
"Happy Gilmore 2" star Haley Joel Osment made a rare red carpet appearance months after his April arrest made headlines. The former child star, now 37, walked the film's red carpet Monday, July 21, at Lincoln Center in New York City. He wore a floral shirt, and white pants for the affair, pairing the look with a matching jacket and slip-on suede loafers. "The Sixth Sense" star appears in "Happy Gilmore 2" (released Friday, July 25 on Netflix) — the brainchild of comedian Adam Sandler — as new character Billy Jenkins in the sequel to the beloved 1996 golf comedy. Osment's appearance at the premiere marked his first major public outing since he was arrested this spring and charged with disorderly conduct for public alcohol intoxication and possession of cocaine at Mammoth Mountain Ski Area resort in Mammoth Lakes, California. 'Happy Gilmore 2': The wildest celebrity cameos, from Travis Kelce to Ken Jennings Earlier this year, Osment apologized for his use of a slur in a statement shared with People and the New York Post April 18 after his arrest footage surfaced. The footage, shared by Page Six, shows Osment calling an officer a "Nazi" and hurling an antisemitic slur about Jewish people. "You'll wish you treated me nicer," Osment said to the officer. As he was escorted into the jail in handcuffs by two officers, the actor said, "Good luck." Osment told the outlets that "I'm absolutely horrified by my behavior. Had I known I used this disgraceful language in the throes of a blackout, I would have spoken up sooner." He added that "the past few months of loss and displacement have broken me down to a very low emotional place." Osment continued: "But that's no excuse for using this disgusting word. From the bottom of my heart, I apologize to absolutely everyone that this hurts. What came out of my mouth was nonsensical garbage - I've let the Jewish community down and it devastates me. I don't ask for anyone's forgiveness, but I promise to atone for my terrible mistake." Contributing: Saman Shafiq

Country star Zac Brown ‘going into debt' to fund expensive Las Vegas Sphere residency
You get what you give. Zac Brown has revealed that he is taking on debt to fund his highly anticipated four-show residency at the Las Vegas Sphere later this year. Taylor Swift's Surprise Album Reaches A Major Milestone
Taylor Swift's Folklore celebrates 260 weeks on the Billboard 200, marking five years on the chart ... More and climbing to No. 68 as it hits half a decade. BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA - JANUARY 05: Taylor Swift attends the 77th Annual Golden Globe Awards at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on January 05, 2020 in Beverly Hills, California. (Photo by) Taylor Swift shocked the world in the summer of 2020 when she surprise-released her album Folklore in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. Nobody was expecting a brand new full-length from one of the world's biggest artists, especially as she had recently been promoting her pop set Lover, which had its campaign interrupted by the global shutdown. Folklore was immediately welcomed as both a critical and commercial behemoth, and it went on to win her another Album of the Year Grammy. Half a decade later, the title remains present on several Billboard rankings, and it even reaches a special milestone this time around. Folklore Reaches Half a Decade on the Billboard 200 Folklore advances on the Billboard 200, pushing from No. 77 to No. 68 at the moment. This week marks its two-hundred-and-sixtieth frame on the most competitive albums tally in the United States, which means it has now lived on the roster for exactly five years. Luminate reports that as Folklore reaches the milestone, it moves another 14,000 equivalent units, almost all of which come from streaming activity. Taylor Swift's Sixth Time Hitting This Milestone Five years on the Billboard 200 is a major accomplishment, one that most artists will never approach…but it's something Swift has managed before. Folklore is her sixth project to rack up 260 stays somewhere on the tally. It follows 1989, Reputation, Lover, her self-titled full-length, and Fearless, which have all previously made it to that landmark. Folklore Nearly Ties Fearless At present, Folklore sits just one week behind Fearless in terms of lifespan on the Billboard 200. Fearless is nowhere to be found at the moment, while Folklore continues to live inside the upper half of the list. There's a good chance that next week, Folklore will tie Fearless as Swift's fifth-longest-running success on the Billboard 200. Then, just days later, it also seems plausible that Folklore will pass Fearless — perhaps for good — and continue to add to its cumulative total. Taylor Swift's Cross-Chart Success Folklore reaches 260 weeks not just on the Billboard 200, but also on the Top Alternative Albums chart, where this week it sits at No. 9. The project also climbs a few spots on the Top Rock & Alternative Albums list, jumping from No. 19 to No. 16. Swift's first pivot into the alternative space lags behind in terms of the number of weeks spent on that ranking, as it is almost exactly 100 frames behind its tenure on both the Billboard 200 and Top Alternative Albums rosters.
