Nintendo bans Switch 2 over "Twink Link" username
Upon contacting customer support, the owner was met with alleged laughter from the staff, but the ban's outcome hasn't changed. "I let everyone in my family use my Nintendo Switch 2 system and as a result, my sister uses it. Her username was recently changed to Twink Link and... console ban."
He added, "I am fully prevented from accessing any Nintendo services at all on the system. I'm unable to contact support as they're too busy with complaints right now, but this has been incredibly stressful. We were all so excited to be playing Breath of the Wild again."
'Funaoe24' then returned with a "final edit" stating that permanent bans cannot be revoked by Nintendo at all. He added that he will be returning the system to GameStop so another customer can buy it.
Nintendo is once again facing backlash from fans, who have voiced concern over the company's terms and conditions for owning a Switch 2. Many also urged fellow gamers to choose their usernames carefully to avoid similar issues.
