Real Madrid's forward Rodrygo is attracting interest from various places at Europe and there are several clubs looking to sign him, including the earlier rumour Arsenal. Apart from the PL side, the ESPN Brazil reported that the PSG is also interested in the forward and has made contact with his camp.
Real Madrid forward Rodrygo Goes is reportedly attracting significant interest from across Europe, with several top clubs keeping a close eye on his situation at the Santiago Bernabéu. The Brazilian winger, who has played a key role in Los Blancos' recent successes, could be on the radar for a summer move if opportunities begin to dry up following the arrival of Kylian Mbappé.
Earlier this year, Premier League giants Arsenal were linked with Rodrygo as part of their plans to bolster their attacking options. While those rumours have cooled in recent weeks, fresh reports suggest the interest hasn't completely faded.
According to ESPN Brazil, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) have now joined the race and have already made contact with Rodrygo's camp. The French champions are looking to strengthen their frontline after Mbappé's departure and view Rodrygo as a high-potential addition.

Gyokeres gives up salary sum to aid Arsenal transfer

Viktor Gyokeres has accepted to give up €2m from his salary in order to facilitate a transfer to Arsenal from Sporting CP. Sporting and Arsenal are locked in negotiations over the transfer of the forward, who has informed the Portuguese side of his desire to leave this summer. Gyokeres has agreed terms on a five-year contract with Arsenal and is pushing to complete the move as soon as possible. Advertisement Portuguese outlet Record have confirmed that Gyokeres has agreed to give up a €2m sum from his salary to help facilitate the deal. Arsenal are willing to pay a fee of around €70m (£60.4m) for Gyokeres, with Sporting demanding a sum of €80m (£69m). Gyokeres is hopeful his salary sacrifice can help speed along negotiations with the 27-year-old determined to move to the Premier League in time for pre-season. The Sweden international has emerged as Arsenal's top target to strengthen at centre-forward, despite talks with RB Leipzig over Benjamin Sesko. Gyokeres has scored prolifically since his move to Portugal from Coventry City, netting 97 times in 102 appearances for the club. Ex-Real Madrid man and Rangers candidate Davide Ancelotti takes first managerial job

Former Real Madrid assistant manager and son of Carlo Ancelotti, Davide Ancelotti, has taken his first step into management, after four years back at the Santiago Bernabeu. After a number of flirtations with clubs, Ancelotti junior will manage in Brazil for the first time. Ancelotti will become the new manager of Botafogo, as per Marca, after agreeing to a deal with the Brazilian champions. The Italian has a tough act to follow, replacing Renato Paiva, less than a year on from securing the Brazilian title and their first ever Copa Libertadores trophy. Davide Ancelotti has given the green light for a deal. Advertisement Options across Europe for Davide Ancelotti Recent years have seen Davide Ancelotti linked with a number of positions. After becoming a fitness coach for Paris Saint-Germain alongside his father in 2012, he would spend the next 13 years by his side, becoming a coach and then assistant manager. Some of the clubs on his trajectory include Bayern Munich, Napoli and Everton before returing to Los Blancos for a second time in 2021. Everton were one of the sides that reached out to Ancelotti to offer him work as the senior man in charge, followed by conversations with Reims last summer, and this year Parma, Como and Rangers. Ancelotti was down to the final pairing for the job at Ibrox, but they decided to appoint Russell Martin instead. Close to father Carlo Ancelotti With Davide landing in Rio de Janeiro in the coming days, he will again be close to his father, who has signed with the Brazil national team until the end of the 2026 World Cup in the United States, Mexico and Canada. It is the first time that Davide has worked without his father, although it would be no surprise if he leaned on him for advice. Advertisement Highly regarded at Real Madrid Davide Ancelotti was well-regarded at Valdebebas, with the young Italian earning praise for his attention to detail, set-piece work and closeness with the players. Naturally, this will be a different job for him now, but in Real Madrid's 2024 Champions League triumph, Davide Ancelotti was afforded plenty of credit.
