Looking to Get Married? Knot.dating Launches India's First AI Matchmaker

The Print6 days ago

Gurgaon (Haryana) [India], June 25: After a successful invite-only beta launch on March 31, Knot.dating is now opening its platform to the public. Built for serious relationship seekers, Knot.dating is India's first matchmaking platform that uses conversational AI and human-assisted matchmaking to deliver emotionally compatible matches.
Co-founded by Jasveer Singh and Abhishek Asthana, Knot.dating was born out of the team's pivot from Hood, a pseudonymous social network, to solving a deeper human need: meaningful relationships.
Knot.dating has been built to cut through the noise. Users don't want filters–they want connection. That starts with conversation, not checkboxes. Users don't fill out endless forms — they simply talk. In just a few minutes of AI conversation, the system captures personality nuances, emotional depth, and communication patterns to match users with high compatibility.
'We're not just building another matrimony app,' said Jasveer Singh, Co-founder & CEO. 'We're building a matchmaking experience where compatibility grows through conversations. Our users are professionals who want to take the lead in their own journey — before involving families.'
Knot.dating blends tech and empathy to deliver curated, verified matches. Every profile goes through face & Government ID and users also have access to Matchmaking advisors for guidance on complex or sensitive match decisions.
What's new with the public launch:
* Full access to the AI matchmaker experience — no waitlist
* Smart curated profiles with deeper behavioral understanding
* Real-time AI conversations to drive compatibility, not just preferences
* Face-verification for profile authenticity
* Optional personal advisors to support match decisions
The app is now live on Android, iOS, and Web. Early adopters have already praised its clean design, zero-spam onboarding, and deeply personal matchmaking approach.
Backed by marquee investors like 3one4 Capital, Vijay Shekhar Sharma, Ritesh Agarwal, Ashish Hemrajani, Kunal Shah, and Ashneer Grover, Knot.dating had earlier raised $3.2M during its Hood journey. With this public launch, the company enters a new chapter — one led by AI, human intuition, and the real pursuit of marriage.
To experience the future of matchmaking, visit www.knot.dating or download the app now.

Apple reportedly wants ChatGPT's help to power next-gen Siri experience

It has not been long since Apple delayed the launch of the AI-supercharged Siri, and since then, there has been no word as to when we can expect the next-generation Siri upgrade, which was initially promised as a part of the Apple Intelligence suite. Having said that, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman has reported that Apple could be considering taking help from ChatGPT maker OpenAI or Anthropic in order to power the next-generation Siri, and may even put aside its own in-house models to do so. Siri's next-gen upgrade is still in limbo as per reports.(REUTERS) Also Read: iPhone 17 launch nearing: 4 upgrades I want Apple to deliver Gurman says that Apple has talked with both companies, Anthropic and OpenAI, to use their respective large language models to power Siri. Gurman says that Apple asked these companies to train versions of their models that could be successfully run on Apple's cloud infrastructure. The report adds that this could be a major change for Apple, as it currently only depends on Apple Foundation models, which have been homegrown, and most of the AI arsenal tools that exist in iOS as of now are powered by these. Further, it was also mentioned that this decision could be the result of the AI leadership change at Apple, when John Giannandrea was reportedly replaced by Mike Rockwell and Craig Federighi to take charge of Siri. For those unfamiliar, Rockwell was the lead behind the launch of Apple's Vision Pro headset. Apple has already been using ChatGPT to answer user queries It goes without saying, but there is already ChatGPT support on the iPhone. Apple gives you the option if you want ChatGPT to be used in order to answer some of your queries, the Visual Intelligence features, or in general. So it would not be out of the ordinary for Apple to seek more help from OpenAI in order to bolster its AI arsenal. MOBILE FINDER: iPhone 16 LATEST Price, Specs And More

Microsoft Authenticator app to drop password autofill: How to export data

Microsoft is discontinuing the password autofill feature in its Authenticator app. Autofill will stop working in July 2025, and all saved passwords will be permanently deleted by August 1. This move is part of Microsoft's plan to consolidate password management within the Edge browser, which will become the sole platform for storing and using saved credentials. Microsoft urges users to export their data before the deadline if they do not intend to switch to Edge. How to transfer your passwords Microsoft has stated that passwords and addresses already saved in the Authenticator app will automatically sync to your Microsoft account and remain accessible through Edge. However, if you are not planning to use Edge, you will need to export your passwords to another service before August 1. To continue using generated passwords, you must save them from the 'Generator history' (accessed via the 'Password' tab) into your saved passwords. How to maintain access to passwords with Edge For iOS Download the Microsoft Edge browser. Go to iPhone Settings and select General. Select Autofill & Passwords. Under the 'Autofill from' section, you will see a list of available password managers. Choose Edge. (If you have set up Passkeys for your Microsoft Account, ensure that Authenticator remains enabled as your Passkey Provider. Disabling Authenticator will disable your passkeys.) Open Edge and sign in to start autofilling. Your passwords and addresses are now securely synced in your Microsoft account. You can access them through 'Passwords' under settings. For Android Download the Microsoft Edge browser. Go to your device Settings and search for 'Autofill'. Select Preferred service. Select Change and choose Edge. Open Edge and sign in to start autofilling. Your passwords and addresses are now securely synced in your Microsoft account. You can access them through 'Passwords' under settings. Microsoft allows you to export passwords directly from Authenticator under Settings, then Autofill, and finally Export Passwords. Please note that payment details cannot be exported, so users will need to re-enter them manually. Passkeys are still supported Although password support is ending, Microsoft Authenticator will continue to support passkeys. This means you can still log in using facial recognition, fingerprint, or a PIN, ensuring the app remains enabled as your passkey provider. Choosing a different autofill provider instead of Edge If you would prefer to use a different service like Google Password Manager or iCloud Keychain, follow these steps: Set your preferred service as your default autofill provider in your phone's settings. Export your saved passwords from Authenticator and import them into your chosen password manager. Copy your saved addresses manually from Authenticator by tapping and holding, or export them using Microsoft Edge.
