"Vote for Caitlin Clark for Favorite Female Sports Star kids choice," shared a fan.
"Done (Caitlin Clark) vote in," replied a fan.
"Please vote for Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards 😌 ... Favorite Female Sports Star: Caitlin Clark," commented another.
Clark missed most of the 2025 WNBA season because of a quadriceps injury, with only four games played thus far. Since her injury, the Fever are 2-3 and hold a 4-5 record, tied for seventh in the standings. Clark hasn't played since May 24.
The No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft, Clark was named an All-Star, a member of the All-Rookie Team and the All-WNBA First Team, the WNBA Rookie of the Year and led the league in assists (337).

Cooper Flagg Gets Brutally Honest On 'Tough' Situation In Dallas
Cooper Flagg Gets Brutally Honest On 'Tough' Situation In Dallas originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Cooper Flagg hadn't set a foot to play for Duke, and he was already penciled in as the consensus first-overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft. Advertisement His lone season at Durham didn't disappoint, so the Dallas Mavericks didn't have much of a decision to make when they were on the clock. Now, the Maine native is getting ready to make his Summer League debut, and while he's been preparing for this moment his whole life, he knows it's not going to be easy. Dallas Mavericks first overall pick Cooper Flagg speaks to the media during a press conference.© Jerome Miron-Imagn Images When asked about that, Flagg talked about the difficult challenge ahead of him, although he likes the group that will join him on the court: 'It's tough," Flagg admitted. I think we've got a good group of guys that really just want to play the right way and showcase a good brand of basketball, so it should make it a little easier.' Advertisement Of course, things should be even easier once he takes the floor with his actual teammates, as most of the Mavs' players on the Summer League roster won't be there when it actually counts. Having him next to Anthony Davis, Klay Thompson, D'Angelo Russell, P.J. Washington, and Dereck Lively II will be a mouth-watering idea for the Mavs and their fans. Flagg dominated in college, averaging 19.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 4.2 assists to lead the Blue Devils to a 35-3 record and a trip to the Final Four. Even so, none of that will matter in the pros, and Tuesday night might mark the beginning of a new era of NBA basketball. DeWanna Bonner rejoins Phoenix Mercury after signing as a free agent
PHOENIX — DeWanna Bonner has rejoined the Phoenix Mercury, signing as a free agent on Tuesday. She helped the franchise win two WNBA titles in her previous stint with the team which drafted her fifth in 2009. 'We couldn't be more excited to have DeWanna back in a Mercury uniform,' said Mercury GM Nick U'Ren. 'She is a true winner, leader and one of the most talented and versatile players in our game. Her high basketball IQ, shooting range, athleticism and ability to play and defend multiple positions is going to be a great addition to what are we building here in Phoenix.' Bonner spent the first 10 years of her career with the Mercury and helped them win titles in 2009 and 2014. She left for Connecticut and helped the franchise reach the WNBA semifinals for five straight years from 2020-24. The team also made the WNBA Finals in 2022. The 37-year-old Bonner is third all time on the league's scoring list and is a six-time All-Star. She originally signed with Indiana as a free agent to start the year before deciding that the fit wasn't right for her and asking to be waived by the franchise. She'll reunite in Phoenix with her fiancee and former Sun teammate Alyssa Thomas.

The embarrassingly low bonus the WNBA gives its All-Stars
The WNBA All-Star Game isn't exactly lucrative for its participants. Whether they're a starter or reserve, winner or loser, every player in the All-Star Game will receive a bonus of $2,575, according to Front Office Sports. The All-Star Game MVP will earn $5,150 on top that figure. Advertisement 4 Caitlin Clark was the WNBA All-Star Game's top vote getter. Jesse Johnson-Imagn Images 4 WNBA commissioner Cathy Engelbert. NBAE via Getty Images 'There's room for reconstruction,' players association president and 10-time All-Star Nneka Ogwumike said. '[All-Star bonuses] are another component of the salary and compensation in terms of performance bonuses. What we're looking to do is not just have a percentage of a higher salary. We're looking for a revenue share that is reflective across the board for all players. So, as an All-Star, I definitely know, feel, and expect to be able to be rewarded in a much better way.' Advertisement With the viewership surging in the WNBA in the past two seasons, the bonus number seems to be quite low. The NBA, for example, gave bonuses of $125,000 to All-Stars on the winning team at last season's four-team mini-tournament, while runners-up received $50,000 apiece and the players who finished on the third-place and fourth-place teams were awarded $25,000. 4 Ten-time All-Star Nneka Ogwumike is the WNBPA president and has spoken on the low All-Star bonuses. John Jones-Imagn Images A saving grace of All-Star weekend for the WNBA comes in the form of the 3-point contest and the skills challenge, where Aflac has partnered with the players union and will provide much heftier bonuses to the winners of the challenges. Advertisement The winner of the 3-point contest will receive $60,000 from Aflac and the skills challenge winner will take home $55,000. The WNBA will also have $2,575 bonuses for the winners. Aflac's number is even up from last year, as the insurance company pledged $55,000 for each contest a season ago. Atlanta Dream guard Allisha Gray won both competitions last season, receiving $115,150 in total from Aflac and the league — drawing close to what her 2024 WNBA salary was at $185,000. 4 Allisha Gray won both the three-point contest and the skills challenge last season. NBAE via Getty Images Advertisement The $2,575 that the WNBA is giving All-Stars comes in at 2.10 percent of the league-average salary of $117,133, according to The Athletic. In comparison to the male counterparts, the NBA's $125,000 bonuses to winners were 1.35 percent of the $9,191,285 league-average salary. So, the women are technically receiving a better bonus in terms of the percentage of their salaries, but it points to a bigger picture of their earnings as a whole. After opting out of the collective bargaining agreement in October, the players association is in the midst of new CBA negotiations and must reach an agreement by October 31. The WNBA All-Stars have already been announced and now await being chosen to their specific teams, either Team Caitlin Clark or Team Napheesa Collier, who were the top vote-getters for the game.
