Keira's Italian outing comes after she spoke about her mixed feelings surrounding her role in Pirates of the Caribbean films while promoting her Netflix series Black Doves.
In an interview with The Times, the two-time Oscar nominee said the franchise 'was making and breaking' her at the same time.
'I was seen as s*** because of them,' she explained, 'and yet because they did so well, I was given the opportunity to do the films that I ended up getting Oscar nominations for.'
Keira said they were 'the most successful films I'll ever be a part of, and they were the reason that I was taken down publicly. So they're a very confused place in my head.'

The film received average reviews from critics, but audiences disagreed and showed their approval in box office ticket sales.
Keira and Orlando starred in two more films in the franchise, 2006's Dead Man's Chest and 2007's At World's End.
Both were panned by critics, but were big winners at the box office, with Dead Man's Chest earning more than $1 billion and At World's End coming in close with more than $961 million.
The attention from the film resulted in a lot of attention on Keira appearance, including her thinness and she was accused in the media of having an eating disorder.
She also revealed in 2018 she had been treated for post-traumatic stress.
'In that classic trauma way I don't remember it,' she told the outlet.
Netflix has also announced it has renewed Black Doves for a second season after the first of the thriller series became a hit with fans - and royalty.
It was an instant hit, flying to the top of the charts as viewers dubbed it a ' Christmas series' and it even made it to Kensington Palace.
Whilst handing out Christmas presents to children and families at a party for 1st Battalion Mercian Regiment in Wiltshire, Prince William revealed he and Princess Catherine have been sitting down to watch Black Doves.

Hundreds more flights cancelled on Friday in air traffic control strike Expect disruption on multiple airlines including Ryanair and easyJet, and in countries including France, Spain and Greece There will be delays at the airport Thousands of passengers face being stranded on Friday as an air traffic control strike moves into its second day. Workers in France are striking, meaning hundreds of flights are cancelled in the country and planes which fly over France are also being grounded or diverted. easyJet, Ryanair, HOP! and Air France cancelled around 500 flights on Thursday at the start of the action, taking place on June 3 and Friday, June 4. Ryanair said the cancellations will affect flights to and from France, and also flights over the country to destinations such as the UK, Greece, Spain and Ireland. The French Civil Aviation Authority (DGAC) has asked for a reduction in airport capacity across the country, meaning airlines will have to cancel flights. It comes on the eve of the school summer holidays in France, when air traffic peaks. These dates are some of the busiest of the year, according to DGAC, as many head off on their summer break. DGAC tells airlines how many flights need to be cancelled during strikes, then they have to decide which ones they axe. On Thursday 3 July, over half of all flights to and from Nice airport will be cancelled. More than half at Bastia and Calvi airports on the French island of Corsica will also need to be cancelled by airlines. At Lyon, Marseille, Montpellier, Ajaccio and Figari, DGAC has asked airlines to reduce flights by 30 per cent. And 25 per cent of flights to and from Paris's airports - Paris Charles de Gaulle, Paris Orly, Paris Beauvais - will also be cancelled. Article continues below Though the walkout will continue on Friday, only one of the two unions is taking part, meaning less disruption. The strikes could also impact 'overflights' or those which travel through French airspace. This may mean aircraft have to be rerouted around France, leading to delays. Flights to and from Belgium, Portugal, Spain and Morocco have been among the worst affected during previous ATC actions in France. Nicky Kelvin, Editor at Large at The Points Guy said: 'My advice to travellers who are due to fly in the next few days is to keep an eye out for any correspondence from their airline provider. Most airlines will try and book passengers on alternative flights, however this won't be possible for everyone and so it is important to stay on top of the latest updates and announcements. "For cancelled flights, passengers will more than likely be entitled to a refund, but they are unlikely to be able to claim additional compensation as the strikes will be deemed outside of the airlines' control." Travellers heading to or back from France currently face disruption after French air traffic control strikes have been put in place, affecting key routes and airports. Kara Gammell, personal finance expert at MoneySuperMarket Travel Insurance, said: 'Under EU law, you may be entitled to a refund for your flight from the airline, but you may also be able to reclaim other costs, such as accommodation, on your travel insurance. If your flight is delayed your airline has an obligation to offer you food, drink and accommodation depending on the length of delay. 'As long as the airline strikes were announced after you booked your trip and your travel insurance, you may be able to claim through your insurer. Always check the terms and conditions of a policy before you buy it as not all travel insurance providers offer cover for airline strikes. 'If your policy includes travel disruption cover though, then it might be possible to claim for disruption or losses incurred as a result of your trip being delayed or cancelled. This may include alternative accommodation, or expenses incurred such as travel, food and drink, and can even stretch to covering the full cost of your holiday should you end up not being able to go. 'However, it is worth noting that not all policies cover this as standard and cover levels, conditions and exclusions can vary between providers, making it important to check with your insurer as your first port of call. Kara continues: 'If your travel plans are affected by any of the strike action across Europe, check your policy documents to understand what could be covered. Buy your travel insurance as soon as possible after booking your trip to ensure you don't miss out on the valuable cancellation cover.' Article continues below Ivaylo Danailov, CEO of airline compensation specialists SkyRefund, said: 'If your flight is affected by the French air traffic controller strike, your rights as a passenger will depend on several factors including where you are flying from, your airline, and the reason for the disruption. "You are protected under EU Regulation 261/2004 if you are flying from any EU airport (including France), regardless of airline nationality, and if you are flying into the EU with an EU-based airline (e.g. Air France, KLM, Lufthansa).

Singer's life spiralled into cocaine, booze and loneliness after massive noughties hit single
Daniel Powter's hit Bad Day was the anthem of 2005 - but the Canadian singer's life spiralled out of control in the years that followed as he battled addiction and personal turmoil Bad Day, the track that had everyone humming along and became an early 2000s pop culture staple, was the creation of Canadian singer Daniel Powter. It dominated the airwaves in 2005, claiming the number one spot on the US Billboard Hot 100, securing second place in the UK charts, and became intertwined with American Idol's elimination rounds. However, the swift ascent to fame brought Daniel Powter struggles marked by addiction, loneliness, and inner conflict. Interestingly, Bad Day was recorded years prior, in 2002, yet was initially rejected by record labels. The turning point occurred when the tune featured in a French Coca-Cola commercial in 2004, leading Warner Bros. to snap him up. Upon releasing his self-titled album, Powter enjoyed over a million sales globally, but subsequent singles didn't achieve the same impact, reports the Mirror US. His second single in the UK, Free Loop, suffered charting complications due to the inclusion of Bad Day as the B-side, inhibiting its potential popularity. By 2008, Powter's follow-up album Under the Radar regrettably didn't live up to expectations, and his presence in the music scene dwindled. The weight of sudden fame was burdensome. "It was very lonely and I felt isolated," he admitted to Metro in 2012. "I was travelling and spending all my life alone in hotel rooms. You don't always meet people with the best of intentions in the music business... It was quite dark. Some people deal well with it and I didn't." Powter succumbed to substance abuse; alcohol and cocaine became destructive companions. "I became a slave to it and ended up managing my life around it," he confessed. What began as a mere escape from pain soon escalated to full-blown addiction. "It wasn't a problem for the first year and a half, but as the years went by it got worse until I couldn't remember what was happening", he revealed. After a long struggle with substance abuse, he achieved sobriety in 2010. Sobriety might have brought him face-to-face with stark realities, yet it also offered tranquility. Sharing his newfound sense of time, he mentioned: "The strange thing is how much time you have in your life when you stop." He added: "You don't have to spend time worrying about who you've been lying to. I suddenly had hours in the day where I wasn't messed up." While his marriage succumbed to the turbulent years, Powter eventually made his way back to the realm of music. In 2010, he crafted a Best of Me compilation, followed by the release of his fourth studio album Turn on the Lights in 2012, which reached a modest peak at No. 109 in the UK charts. In 2018, Powter stepped out with fresh singles such as Do You Wanna Get Lucky, Survivor, and a reimagined Perfect for Me specifically targeting the Asian audience. These tracks culminated in the December 14 unveiling of Giants, an eclectic mix featuring new melodies like Delicious and rejuvenated renditions of early hits like Bad Day and Free Loop. The collection also boasted a festive remix of Do You Wanna Get Lucky. Despite not reaching the commercial success of his first album, Giants revealed a more down-to-earth and personal artist. In 2020, he collaborated with Chinese pop band The Untamed Boys on Just Isn't Me, performing it - along with Bad Day - during a tour stop in Bangkok. That same year, he participated in the MOSHIMO Project, and in 2021, he was featured in Save Your Life, a duet with Japanese pop singer Ayaka Hirahara. In 2024, Powter made an unexpected comeback to Canadian television when he auditioned for Season 4 of Canada's Got Talent - marking his first significant televised appearance in his homeland. Today, Daniel Powter resides with his wife Christina in Portland, Oregon.
