Huda Kattan Reacquires Full Ownership of Huda Beauty
With this transition, Huda Beauty joins a select group of major beauty brands that are entirely founder-owned.
Jun 03, 2025
Huda Kattan, founder and co-CEO of Huda Beauty, has announced the reacquisition of full ownership of her cosmetics brand by buying back the minority stake held by TSG Consumer Partners since 2017. The move ends an eight-year partnership with the private equity firm, restoring Huda Beauty to complete founder ownership.
Founded in 2013 in Dubai, Huda Beauty rose to fame with its bestselling false eyelashes and has since evolved into a global beauty powerhouse. The company is now solely led by Kattan, with her husband, Christopher Goncalo, serving as Co-CEO and her sister, Alya Kattan, heading social strategy.
Earlier this year, the brand sold its fragrance line, KAYALI, to co-founder Mona Kattan and private equity firm General Atlantic, facilitating the buyback of TSG's stake.

Monochrome Monday: The Hint of Mint Edition
Fresh yet grounded, delicate but assured. Mint captures that quiet elegance found somewhere between nostalgia and refinement. Jun 09, 2025 Mint is having a quiet moment. We're giving it the volume it deserves. It's a shade that holds its own without needing to shout. Soft, fresh, and easy to wear. There's a calm to it, a softness that lingers, like peppermint on the tongue or jade in sunlight. Mint signals restraint. It's cool without coldness. There's something considered in choosing it, like reaching for mint-choc-chip as the first scoop of summer. She's serene. She's pared back. She lands her presence without pushing. This Monochrome Monday, we're wearing Hint of Mint. Huda Beauty | Mint Eyeshadow Pallet This pocket-sized palette delivers nine icy-smooth shades in both shimmer and matte. From pistachio to seafoam, it's your shortcut to cool-toned drama and summer sweetness. Lafshar | Mint Alphabet Keychain Small enough to flirt from the clasp of your handbag, Lafshar's mint acrylic charms turn initials into statement pieces. Personal but playful - a candy-coloured wink for minimalists with a secret sweet tooth. Rami Kadi | Mint Green Couture Gown Rami Kadi's couture masterpiece floats in liquid mint, with cosmic sparkles and architectural folds that move like stardust. Wear if you dare to be the event. Amina K | Juicy Wrap Skirt Lemonade stand meets slow fashion. With its asymmetrical lines and tie waist, it's your new go-to for beach club brunches or rooftop dancing. Wadha | Draped Back Cape Gown in Silk Organza Qatari label Wadha spins silk organza into a mint-swirled dream, dusted in sequins like something found at the bottom of a vintage trunk - delicate, well-loved, and quietly luminous.
