But he's making good use of his downtime by hanging out with childhood pal and current Hoops star Luke McCowan and their repsective partners over in Formentera.
Taylor and McCowan are childhood pals from Inverclyde who went on to be reunited in the Hoops first team.
And in the video shared on his wife Laura's Instagram, Taylor is displayed showing off his skills in the Balearic island and fans are loving it.
Taylor's future is one of the longest-running transfer sagas of the season, with the player choosing to move on just as Kieran Tierney returns.
Greek side PAOK looked to be among the frontrunners for his signature.
But media there claimed earlier this week that talks with the ex-Kilmarnock ace had frozen.
And that could now open the door for Copenhagen, who can offer Taylor the prospect of a potential quickfire return to Champions League football.
The Danes regained the Superliga title after pipping Hibs' Europa League opponents Midtjylland to top spot by a single point and will now enter the competition in the second qualifying round.

The transfer fee Celtic want for Johnny Kenny 'revealed'
The striker will be allowed to leave the Parkhead club for the right price. English League One side Bolton Wanderers recently had a £500,000 bid for Kenny rejected, although The Scottish Sun claims Celtic want £1m to part ways with the 22-year-old. Kenny joined the Scottish Premiership champions in 2022. He has since enjoyed loan spells at Queen's Park and Shamrock Rovers, with him particularly succeeding at the latter. Read more: He played 10 times for Brendan Rodgers' first team in the second half of last season, scoring away to Aberdeen in the penultimate game of the league campaign. It appears Celtic could part ways with the attacker this summer, however, with a deal for Fulham's Callum Osmand said to be in the works. The club also secured the services of versatile Swedish attacker Benjamin Nygren on Friday. He joins on a five-year deal from Danish top-flight side Nordsjaelland. The 23-year-old was Celtic's third summer signing, following on from Kieran Tierney and Ross Doohan. There have been no confirmed departures from Glasgow's east end yet, although Kenny could be on the chopping block, per reports.

Jadon Sancho thinks Chelsea are signing a top-drawer player after rejecting him
Chelsea decided to pay Manchester United rather than sign Jadon Sancho this summer, but he's a big fan of the player expected to take his place at Stamford Bridge After heading out of the Stamford Bridge exit this summer, Jadon Sancho has already shown his love for the man likely to replace him at Chelsea. And he would know a thing or two about Jamie Gittens, having previously played in the same Borussia Dortmund line-up. Sancho, 25, spent this season on loan in west London but failed to make enough of an impact to convince the Blues to sign him permanently. In fact, Chelsea paid parent club Manchester United £5million to circumvent his purchase clause in the hopes they could make better use of their funds. And it appears Dortmund winger Gittens is the preferred option as he homes in on a return to Cobham this summer. Niko Kovac insisted his attacker only missed his side's Club World Cup win over Ulsan because of illness, but it's been suggested the omission was actually due to the fact that Gittens is on the verge of leaving. The Sun claim Chelsea are now on the verge of signing the winger in a £55.5m deal. Sancho previously impressed at the Westfalenstadion before returning to the club on a short-term loan last year. He struck up a bond with Gittens during that spell and reached out to his fellow Englishman last winter when the 20-year-old really started to take off as a first-team talent. "He [Sancho] wrote to me to say, 'Keep it up,'" Gittens told the Dortmund website in December. "'It's your time to show everyone what you can do.' He is a top player and also a top friend." Sancho also complimented Gittens in public last season after the youngster scored twice in a Champions League win over Club Brugge. The United winger commented on one of Gittens' Instagram posts by calling him a "balla [baller]" as a show of support for his work. Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has already confessed that the club will sign a new winger this summer after Mykhailo Mudryk missed more than half of this season. The Ukrainian tested positive for a banned substance and is facing a potential four-year ban as a result. Add Sancho's departure into the equation, and Chelsea's need for reinforcements out wide becomes even more dire. Brazilian winger Estevao is due to arrive in England after completing his transfer from Palmeiras, but the 18-year-old will require some easing into his Premier League surroundings. Gittens and Sancho spent just six months together as team-mates in Germany, but it's evident the latter made an impact in that time. And former Chelsea academy prospect Gittens admitted as much at the conclusion of a breakthrough 2023/24 campaign. "I've learned a lot from Jadon," he told German outlet WAZ in July 2024. "For example, that I have to play with one or two touches more often, that I have to offer deeper runs more often. And when he plays, he enjoys himself; I've learned that too. Jadon is a friend." Gittens spent a brief period of time training with Chelsea's academy as a youngster but never went full-time in their ranks. And it just so happens he made his Champions League debut in a 1-0 win over the Premier League giants in February 2023. After scoring 12 goals in 49 appearances for Dortmund last season (both career highs), Gittens appears to have done enough to earn Chelsea's interest once again. And it seems as though Sancho is among his advocates as he prepares for a summer homecoming.

Leanne Ross on top flight reduction to help Scots thrive in Europe
'You definitely do see it at points when there are three game weeks in the season,' she said. 'At City we have worked really hard to manage the workload in terms of what we do off the park and with recovery but I do think that having fewer games definitely helps. 'If you have teams competing in the Champions League, which is obviously the highest level that you can get in club football, then not having such a hectic schedule to contend with can help you spread the load.' City will hope to make it back into the Champions League this term with the competition restructured to mirror that of last season's men's competition. It is an arduous road to get there with the non-champions route always particularly fraught. Last term Rangers drew eventual winners Arsenal at the qualification stage and while City's pairing against Austria Vienna – and then Minsk should they negotiate the first hurdle - is not quite so daunting, it is no walk in the park. Quarter-finalists twice, they lost to Brann two seasons ago the last time they were in the competition. 'I think it could have been a harder draw when you look at the teams that were in there,' said Ross. 'It is a difficult pathway to reach the league stage of the competition and we are well aware of that. 'But there is a huge prestige that goes with playing Champions League football, as this club well knows. We can't be looking too far ahead of ourselves. It is important that we just focus on each game as it comes rather than imaging the scenario of being in there.' Ross, meanwhile, has revealed that while there is much to excite City in the coming season, they cannot proceed without a look over their shoulder. Runners up to Hibs in the league, City brought the curtain down on the campaign with a limp 3-0 defeat to Rangers in the Scottish Cup final at Hampden to ensure they ended the season trophyless for a second successive season. 'It is always difficult when you finish off the season with a defeat like,' said Ross. 'There is no game to prepare for and so no way to get it out of your system. 'The players all disperse for international commitments and holidays so it does stay with you. 'We don't shy away from that. I have looked back on it and when the players are back in for pre-season it is something that we will analyse again because it is important that you reflect on it. 'But these are the positions that we want to be in. We want to be competing in finals and challenging for titles. It is always going to be the ambition of this club.' And Ross is also confident that there will be new faces as City look towards the new season. 'That work is always ongoing, it doesn't just start when the season ends and the window opens,' she said. 'We are always working on identifying players and preparing not just for this window but for the next one as well. 'I'm confident that when the season starts we will be in a good position in terms of where the squad is. 'It is always exciting looking towards a new campaign and this is no different. Our targets are always to go and be as successful as we can be. That has also been the approach from City.'
