Bombshell LeBron James trade rumors erupt as 'FOUR teams reach out to his agent Rich Paul'
James' future with the Lakers has been the subject of plenty of speculation in the offseason - which only ramped up on Saturday night.
ESPN's Dave McMenamin invited James onto a broadcast of an NBA Summer League game featuring his son Bronny James to address his future - only for LeBron to reply, 'I ain't got nothing to talk about'.
However, McMenamin did report that four NBA teams had reached out to the Lakers to try and acquire him.
While McMenamin didn't reveal the identities of the four teams in his report, others later revealed those who were interested.
According to NBA insider Brandon 'Scoop B' Robinson, the teams hoping to make a move for James are the Dallas Mavericks, the Golden State Warriors, the Cleveland Cavaliers, and the Los Angeles Clippers.
The biggest surprise on this list might be the Mavericks, considering the two teams were at the center of a shocking trade in the middle of the season when the Lakers acquired Luka Doncic while sending Anthony Davis and other pieces to Dallas.
For the Mavericks to now turn around and want James would be a bit surprising. However, it would re-unite him with Davis and former teammate Kyrie Irving.
LeBron would also serve as something of a mentor to the Mavericks' first-round draft pick, Cooper Flagg. James previously praised Flagg after a training session before the Paris Olympics in 2024.
Turning to Golden State, James would get the chance to be teammates with Steph Curry for the first time in a non-Team USA capacity. James would also form an aging 'Big Three' with Curry and mid-season acquisition Jimmy Butler.
But LeBron also has a weird history with Golden State - having faced them in four consecutive NBA Finals appearances from 2015-2018 as a member of the Cavaliers. LeBron would win the 2016 Finals, but lost the other three appearances.
Which brings us to Cleveland. If the Cavs traded for him, it would be LeBron's third stint with his hometown team and would serve as a fitting team for him to retire on.
Cleveland also is in the midst of a competitive window having finished atop the Eastern Conference at the end of the regular season.
Finally, there's the Clippers. LeBron would be able to switch to a more competitive team while staying in the same city. Plus, adding him to a roster with the likes of James Harden, Kawhi Leonard, and Ben Simmons would be a strong lineup.
However, it would be something of a surprise if the Lakers decided to trade one of their biggest stars to their cross-town rivals.
The Clippers and Lakers have only been partners in seven trades throughout their history, with the most recent one involving just the two teams coming in 2019 - when the Lakers gave up Michael Beasley and Ivica Zubac to the Clippers for Mike Muscala.

Trump kept FIFA Club World Cup trophy for himself - leaving champion Chelsea to lift a replica
President Donald Trump revealed that FIFA officials gave him the Club World Cup trophy ahead of Chelsea's win in inaugural competition's final. Before the showpiece game at MetLife Stadium, New Jersey, Trump told broadcaster DAZN that he was gifted the trophy, and that it currently sits in the Oval Office. FIFA President Gianni Infantino visited the White House, along with the trophy, in March. 'They said, 'Could you hold this trophy for a little while?' We put it in the Oval Office,' Trump said. 'And then I said, 'When are you going to pick up the trophy?' He says, 'We're never going to pick it up. You can have it forever in the Oval Office. We're making a new one.'' 'And they actually made a new one. So that was quite exciting…It's in the Oval right now,' he added. This meant that, despite upsetting the odds with their triumph over European champions Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea had to make do with the replica trophy. Trump also quipped he 'could' write an executive order changing the name of 'soccer' to 'football.' 'They would call it football, but I guess we call it soccer,' Trump said, referring to the sport's name throughout much of the world. The interviewer asked: 'What if we make an executive order that we can only say football?' 'I think we could do that,' he added. 'I think I could do that.' Trump grabbed headlines throughout Sunday's final. He was jeered when he appeared on the stadium's screens alongside First Lady Melania Trump, and again when he walked onto the pitch to present medals to the players with Infantino, who confirmed last week that FIFA opened a new office in New York City's Trump Tower. More confusion was sparked online when the president remained with the Chelsea players on stage as they celebrated, having already handed captain Reece James the trophy. After the match, players from the English Premier League club admitted they didn't expect the president to stay with them. 'I knew he was going to be here but I didn't know he was going to be on the stand when we lifted the trophy. I was a bit confused, yes,' Cole Palmer, who scored twice in the game, told PA Media. 'They told me that he was going to present the trophy and then exit the stage, and I thought that he was going to exit the stage, but he wanted to stay,' captain James added.

Conor McGregor kisses mystery woman during Florida beach day as fiancée Dee Devlin breaks silence on the cheating scandal
Conor McGregor couldn't keep his hands off of a mystery brunette woman on a busy Florida beach over the weekend as they were pictured kissing. In a fresh scandal for the the Irish MMA star, he was caught packing on the PDA with the bikini-clad woman as they smooched in full view of other beachgoers. A beaming McGregor was all over the unknown woman during a beach day in Fortwife Lauderdale, Florida, with his loyal partner Dee Devlin nowhere in sight. McGregor was spotted enjoying a cold beverage while the woman, who was dressed in a racy leopard print bikini, shared his sun lounger. The pair chatted away in the shade as the sportsman cosied up to her by wrapping his arm around her back. McGregor showed off his muscular physique in a pair of green swimming trunks as he made his way to cool off in the ocean with the woman and another female friend. The athlete and his mystery woman woman were later spotted standing up and chatting as she wrapped herself in a yellow and white striped towel. McGregor was in good spirits during the sun-soaked day as he also posed for selfies with fans on the beach and was spotted FaceTiming friends. Shortly after the damning snaps emerged, Conor's fiancée Dee Devlin, who has been engaged to the sportsman since 2020, broke her silence on the cheating scandal. Appearing nonplussed by his latest controversial move, Dee has brushed off the photos as she posted a birthday tribute to her long-term partner on Monday. She shared a post from a fan account on her Instagram story which read: 'Happy Birthday to the person who always keeps Dee entertained and makes her smile.' Proving all is well, she also reposted a series of photos of herself and McGregor together from a fan account. It's the latest embarrassment to hit the sportsman's relationship with Dee, who was ever-present by his side throughout his sexual assault court case last year. The couple met as teenagers back in 2008 in a nightclub and Devlin has been a key player in the MMA star's story, supporting him when he was jobless and focused fully on making it as a professional fighter. He was spotted enjoying a cold beverage while the woman, who was dressed in a racy leopard print bikini, shared his sun lounger The pair chatted away in the shade as the sportsman cosied up by wrapping his arm around the mystery woman's back Conor was spotted cooling off following the steamy interaction on the beach McGregor's girl later covered up in a yellow and white stripe towel McGregor told VIP magazine: 'I asked her to come over and we just started chatting. She seemed like a nice girl, and I like good girls.' Devlin added: 'He was already training when I met him, so I really admired his dedication to that.' Speaking to MMA Fighting, McGregor said: 'I love to spoil her. She does not work anymore, I hired her to the business. She works for me now and collects the cheques. 'Dee worked very hard throughout the years and stuck by me when I had essentially absolutely nothing. I only had a dream that I was telling her. 'For me to be able to take her out of work, give her everything she's ever wanted and to travel the world with her fills me with pride. It keeps me going. We've been together a long time. She's been through it all with me.' The pair have been together for 15 years and are not married - but did get engaged in August 2020 after McGregor proposed while they were celebrating his 32nd birthday. McGregor popped the question in the south of France, writing on Instagram: "What a birthday, my future wife!" The couple live in a £2.5million home in Kildare, a 40-minute drive from Dublin with their children Conor Jr, eight, daughter, Croia, five, and sons Rian, three and Mack, who was born in 2023. McGregor has supported his eldest son's budding interest in MMA and boxing and Conor Jr, now 7, can regularly seen on his father's Instagram page being taught the basics of the fight game. McGregor lost his 2024 civil case as jurors at the High Court in Dublin found him liable of raping Nikita Hand, 35, in a Dublin hotel on December 9, 2018, with the judge awarding Hand €250,000 in damages. He was on the phone at one point during the afternoon The group kicked back together in the shade The athlete and the dark haired woman were later spotted standing up and chatting as she wrapped herself in a yellow and white striped towel McGregor was in good spirits during the sun-soaked day as he also posed for selfies with other beachgoers But despite the verdict, Devlin has emphatically made clear that she intends to back McGregor - attacking Hand in a series of posts on Instagram at the time. In the posts she wrote: 'Conor and I dealt with these issues privately many years ago, as should be done in a relationship and we have come out stronger than ever. 'We have four beautiful children now whose smiling faces and happy hearts are a testament to who he is and who we are!' Last week McGregor claimed that he will make his long-awaited return to the UFC at their White House event next year. The Irish MMA star has not stepped foot inside the octagon since July 2021, where he suffered a horror leg break against American fighter Dustin Poirier. McGregor was set to face rival Michael Chandler last summer but, after months of fight build-up, was forced to pull out of the bout due to a toe injury. While many fans have given up hope of McGregor making, yet another, comeback to the sport, it appears as though he's dangled the carrot in front of them once again. Speaking at a press conference for a Bare Knuckle FC event - a promotion which McGregor is a co-owner of - the Irishman revealed the stunning news. He said: 'It's looking like I'm headed to the Oval Office again. That's where I'm headed next'. His statement was met by a round of applause from fans in attendance. McGregor's claim comes just days after he posted on X claiming that he was keen to feature on the White House card. He wrote: 'Accuracy is final. I've most KO's of all by a long shot and I've been chilling on my yachts the last 4 years. 'To return at the White House with my sniper accuracy would be a very intriguing offer and would bring me back in to focus on my return correctly'. President Donald Trump announced that he wants a card to take place at the White House during America's 250th birthday next July - which lead to McGregor's interest.

WNBA star Paige Bueckers shuts down reporter's Caitlin Clark question with brutal response
Caitlin Clark remains one of the WNBA 's biggest talking points however, on Sunday night, that seemed to irk one of the star's rivals. Clark, 23, showed out as the Indiana Fever stormed to a 102-83 win over the Dallas Wings - where she picked up 14 points, 13 assists and three rebounds. The reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year also recorded five steals throughout the game as she continuously picked the pocket of the Wings stars. Afterwards, Wings guard Paige Bueckers was asked about Clark's impressive reading of the game and it's fair to say the WNBA star was not eager to discuss the matter. A reporter asked: 'I think a few of the turnovers were picked off by Caitlin. Was there anything in particular that you saw? 'Maybe that she was kind of a step ahead? It kind of seemed like she was jumping the passing lanes a few times'. she better get used to cc questions. it's a long ride ahead😂😂 — drafts (@drafts95452567) July 13, 2025 A straight-faced Bueckers stared back before simply replying: 'Yeah'. After a long pause, she continued: 'I mean, you answered it. She's just a very smart basketball player so she'll get out and deny passing lanes'. Clark specifically picked off a number of Buecker's passes as she helped the Fever secure the win and, in the process, set a personal record. The sophomore guard, who has played just 12 games this season due to injury, is now the fastest player in WNBA history to reach 200 points and 100 assists in a single season. While her scoring is down from last season at 16.7 points per game, she's averaging 9.0 assists a game for the Fever - second in the league behind only Alyssa Thomas. Clark, who was voted as a WNBA All-Star for the second time this season, shattered the league's single-season assist record last year. She broke the previous record set by Thomas (316 assists) with two games to spare, ultimately finishing with 337 (Thomas also re-broke her previous record and finished with 317 last season). Following her Rookie of the Year campaign last year, Clark's second season has been up-and-down thus far. She's missed nine of Indiana's 21 games due to quad and groin injuries, and has also seen her shooting percentages dip. Clark is shooting just 37.4 percent from the field (down from 41.7 last year) and 28.9 percent from three-point range (down from 34.4). She's also coughing up a league-worst 5.1 turnovers per night.
