Chelsea striker Armando Broja is set to join Burnley after Everton loan spell
The 23-year-old was with the Toffees at Goodison Park last term, playing 11 times across all competitions.
He failed to weigh in with a goal or an assist as his fitness struggles hindered him from regular opportunities.
Everton opted against doing a permanent deal for Broja as they prepare for life at Hill Dickinson Stadium and have signed French striker Thierno Barry from Villarreal instead.
However, Burnley are keen on the Chelsea outcast upon their return to the Premier League, and he will be desperate to prove himself after some underwhelming performances in front of goal in recent seasons.
The England-born Albanian international was at Fulham in 2023-24, making only eight appearances without scoring.
Broja last impressed back in 2022-23, notching nine goals in 38 games for Southampton, and Everton were hoping he could recover that form on Merseyside last term.
Unfortunately, things did not go as planned and it will be interesting to see how the striker fares as he looks to impress at his sixth club.
Burnley are desperate to impress as they look to retain their Premier League status at the end of next season.
The Turf Moor club have completed permanent deals for Bashir Humphreys, Jaidon Anthony, Marcus Edwards and Zian Flemming after their impressive loan spells last term.
Clarets manager Scott Parker has also added Quilindschy Hartman, Max Weiss, Axel Tuanzebe, Loum Tchaouna, Kyle Walker and Jacob Bruun Larsen to his squad, and Broja is next in line.
He is no longer needed at Chelsea as the Blues have more than enough options in the striking department, but he still has the potential to turn out solid.
Parker will be eager to pull out all the stops to get the best out of Broja and have him firing on all cylinders.

Highlights from Day 9 of Bears training camp
The Chicago Bears were back at Halas Hall for their ninth practice of training camp, where there were plenty of notable observations and highlights from Saturday's padded session. Quarterback Caleb Williams and the starting offense got off to a hot start during 1-on-1 and team drills, but things didn't end well during the two-minute drill. Still, according to Zack Pearson, "Williams and the offense are getting more and more comfortable" these last few practices, and Saturday was "another good day out there." It's certainly encouraging just ahead of preseason with Chicago slated to host the Miami Dolphins for a joint practice next week. Rookie tight end Colston Loveland also continued to thrive with receiver Rome Odunze showcasing his big-play potential. With media in attendance, there were some quick highlights from this padded practice. Zazzaroni Reveals: ‘Inter Milan Willing To Raise Offer For Ademola Lookman – But Atalanta Won't Name A Price'
Ivan Zazzaroni says that Inter Milan are willing to raise their offer for Ademola Lookman – but Atalanta 'won't name a price.' The Corriere dello Sport editor explained, via FCInterNews, that the Nerazzurri are not sure whether they will be able to meet La Dea's demands as they do not know them. Inter Milan had a second bid for Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman rejected yesterday. The Nerazzurri had initially offered €40 million for the Nigerian international. Then, for their second offer, they put €45 million on the table including add-ons this week. However, that was still not enough for the Bergamo club. This has cast significant doubt over Inter's pursuit of Lookman. And the big question is not just whether the Nerazzurri will make a higher offer. There is also little certainty on whether or not Atalanta would accept a bid raised by another few million euros. Zazzaroni: 'Inter Willing To Raise Offer – But Atalanta Won't Name A Price' BERGAMO, ITALY – JANUARY 18: Ademola Lookman of Atalanta BC looks on during the Serie A match between Atalanta BC and SSC Napoli at Gewiss Stadium on January 18, 2025 in Bergamo, Italy. (Photo by) Corriere dello Sport editor Ivan Zazzaroni, who initially broke the news of Inter's interest in Lookman, reveals that 'Inter would be willing to raise their offer.' 'But only if they were to know what the price tag for Ademola Lookman is.' 'If, for example, the valuation is €60 million, then Inter would abandon the deal.' 'However, if it's €50 million, then they would be ready to negotiation,' Zazzaroni anticipates. 'It's legitimate that Atalanta have rejected an offer. However, it's strange that they would not name a price.' 'It's for this reason that people have found the whole thing to be incredible,' Zazzaroni adds.

Di Marzio – Inter Milan Striker One Step Away From Joining Cagliari
Inter Milan striker Sebastiano Esposito is one step away from joining Cagliari. This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, via FCInterNews. He reports that the clubs have come close to an agreement for the 23-year-old's transfer today. It has always looked clear that Sebastiano Esposito will leave Inter Milan this summer. The Italian youth team international has gone out on a number of loan spells. He has played for the likes SPAL, Venezia, Basel, Anderlecht, Bari, and Sampdoria. Last season, Esposito was out on loan with Empoli. While his individual form was strong, this was not enough to prevent the Tuscans from suffering relegation to Serie B. Therefore, Empoli did not sign Esposito on a permanent basis. The 23-year-old returned to Inter, with whom he travelled to the United States for the Club World Cup. Esposito even started a couple matches for the Nerazzurri at that tournament. However, that hardly changed his fate – he is not a part of Inter's plans. (Photo by) There have been a couple of clubs to show an interest in signing Esposito this summer. One of these is Fiorentina. La Viola have reportedly spent the last few weeks eyeing up a deal for the 23-year-old. However, Cagliari are also reportedly keen on signing Esposito. And according to Gianluca Di Marzio, it is the Sardinians who have gotten close to a deal for the Inter striker. The Sky transfer expert reports that today, there was another round of talks between Inter and Cagliari. And these talks were just about decisive. Therefore, it should only be a matter of time before Esposito joins Cagliari.
