A source told
Video footage shared online shows soap royalty including EastEnders' Tameka Empson and Hollyoaks hunk Emmett J Scanlan milling about on the street as crowds were ushered out of the iconic venue.
Some stars were seen steaming outside, clearly annoyed as security refused to let them back in.
'It was surreal. One minute we were celebrating, the next we were out on the pavement wondering what was going on,' the source added.

EASTENDERS episodes will drop EARLY this week in a surprise schedule shake-up. The BBC has had to make sweeping changes to the schedule to both of it's major channels. This will be closely followed by another edition of the soap straight after at 8:30pm. The follow-up instalment will air the next day on Thursday 10th July at an earlier time of 7pm. Fans will also be able to watch EastEnders on a Friday night again with the last episode of the week on the 11th July - again at 7pm.
