The following contains spoilers from the Season 15 finale, now streaming on Disney+.

But the true delight is seeing Jodie Whittaker — who popped up as Thirteen during 'The Reality War' — first lay eyes on and unabashedly nerd out over the new TARDIS set that succeeded her three-season run on the iconic sci-fi series.
'Oh my God, it's massive!' she remarks, unironically, upon passing through its doorway in the BTS video below. 'Beautiful,' she deems the set that Gatwa got to call home for two seasons. 'Isn't this immense.'

Whittaker goes on to say she felt 'incredibly hyperactive' upon returning to the series' soundstage in Cardiff, capital of Wales, and grew 'incredibly emotional' when she reunited with crew members who worked there during her Season 11-13 run.
Then there is the matter of donning once again Thirteen's trademark Time Lord fit. 'I was like a pig in poo,' the English actress shares.
'I was a delighted it still fit,' she adds with a chuckle, 'and delight that I still look class!'
Whittaker's three-minute encore was brought about when Fifteen's mission to fix the 1-degree shift in reality caused by the ending of Conrad and the Ranis' Wish World had ripple effects. 'I popped out of my timeline because there's a great big time schism on its way, caused by you,' Thirteen explained.
Before Thirteen left, Fifteen said, 'I love you, Doctor.' Taken aback, in a good way, she noted, 'I never say things like that' — and wondered aloud if should express such a thing to her companion Yaz/Yasmin Khan (played by Mandip Gill). But Fifteen assured his predecessor, 'She knows.'

Why Black entrepreneurs flock to Martha's Vineyard every August

Martha's Vineyard has long been a summer vacation destination for Black families, but August in the Massachusetts beach community is becoming an important hub for Black entrepreneurs, investors and financial firms, too. "I would say the magic of it is really about introducing your network to someone else's network," said Calvin Butts, founder of East Chop Capital, a private equity firm named after a neighborhood on the island. "We found great success raising capital there, we've had our portfolio companies speak as well, we've done very, very well with deal flow." A wide range of companies including Disney, Cisco, Goldman Sachs, McDonald's, Google, Ford, Mckinsey and CNBC parent company Comcast are hosting or sponsoring business-focused events on the Vineyard this month. The Black Economic Alliance is hosting an event called "The Gathering," bringing together corporate leaders to discuss ways to help increase the opportunities for Black employees and companies. "The Vineyard is a spot to capture an audience who wants to have an intellectual and financial conversation about how to uplift Black culture," said Melissa Bradley, general partner of the BEA Venture Fund. Martha's Vineyard became a popular vacation destination for Black families over a century ago with the opening of the first hotel that allowed Black visitors, Shearer Cottage, in 1912. Since then, Black families have bought homes and created a community centered around the town of Oak Bluffs and Inkwell Beach, a name that is a nod to the segregation on the island in the past. This year, clothing brand Ralph Lauren released its Oak Bluffs collection looking to recognize and capitalize on the history and prestige of the island that hosts visitors like Michelle and Barack Obama, Oprah Winfrey and Spike Lee. Eden Bridgeman Sklenar, CEO of Ebony Magazine, is hosting an event with the founders of Black-owned spirit brand Uncle Nearest and said she sees the vineyard as a way to bring the history and the future of the magazine to life for its target audience. "For EBONY, being present on the Vineyard in August is both strategic and personal," Sklenar said in a statement. "It's an opportunity to connect with a powerful cross-section of our community, deepen meaningful relationships, and position the brand not just as a cultural icon, but as a modern business driving impact, visibility, and growth." Donae Burston, founder of La Fête du Rosé, said he also sees tapping into the culture of the Martha's Vineyard community as an organic way to grow sales among a consumer base that aligns with his marketing as a luxury brand. "For us it would mean so much to have the acceptance of people in Martha's Vineyard," said Burston. "Being able to go to Martha's Vineyard and focus on [high-net-worth] individuals from all over the world who appreciate wine — It's visibility, it's helping them become evangelists to go back home and spread the gospel." For four generations, Erin Goldson and her family have spent summers in Martha's Vineyard. This year she is launching a new event called the "Vineyard Icon Awards," sponsored by Diageo and Estee Lauder. The honorees are business and political leaders who are helping to shape August on Martha's Vineyard as a place where culture and commerce meet. "Over the last five or so years, a lot of companies are realizing that there is a wealth of successful, accomplished, driven Black professionals, who decide to come to the vineyard in August," Goldson said. "You can come to the vineyard for rest and relaxation," she said. "But every year here there is also a growing legacy, where Black ambition and aspiration are celebrated in a very unique way."

Classic Star Wars Movie Gets Theatrical Rerelease But You'll Have to Wait

Lucasfilm has officially announced the theatrical rerelease dates for the special limited screenings of the epic space opera. The 1977 movie served as the first installment to George Lucas' long-running sci-fi franchise. This comes after Disney just recently re-released Revenge of the Sith in theaters last April for a special week-long screening. 'The Imperial Forces — under orders from cruel Darth Vader — hold Princess Leia hostage, in their efforts to quell the rebellion against the Galactic Empire,' reads the movie's official synopsis. Luke Skywalker and Han Solo, captain of the Millennium Falcon, work together with the companionable droid duo R2-D2 and C-3PO to rescue the beautiful princess, help the Rebel Alliance, and restore freedom and justice to the Galaxy.' When is the Star Wars: A New Hope theatrical rerelease date? In celebration of its 50th anniversary, Star Wars: A New Hope will be heading back to theaters on April 30, 2027. The movie currently holds a Certified Fresh rating of 94% on Rotten Tomatoes, making it the highest-rated installment of the entire franchise. Star Wars: A New Hope was written and directed by George Lucas. The ensemble cast included Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, Harrison Ford as Han Solo, Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia Organa, Alec Guinness as Obi-Wan 'Ben' Kenobi, Anthony Daniels as C3PO, Kenny Baker as R2-D2, Peter Mayhew as Chewbacca, David Prowse/James Earl Jones (voice) as Lord Darth Vader, Phil Brown as Uncle Owen, Shelagh Fraser as Aunt Beru, and more. Disney World fans puzzled by popular park shutdown with no warning after mysterious mishap: reports

Talk about a total ride-off. Guests at Walt Disney World were in for a shock Thursday morning when one of the resort's most popular parks wasn't fully open. Multiple Disney bloggers shared that they showed up to Hollywood Studios at the Orlando, Florida, theme park just to find that half of it was closed without any prior warning. 4 Half of Hollywood Studios was closed Thursday morning without any warning. Stefano – One blogger on Inside the Magic noted that crew members were seen cleaning up a 'mysterious liquid' in the vast area that was blocked off to visitors. 'Entire sections of the park, normally buzzing with life, were eerily silent and blocked off by Cast Members,' the blog said. 'Guests stood in clusters on Hollywood Boulevard, staring past the ropes with confusion and curiosity.' By late morning, park staff was seen pressure cleaning the ground surrounding Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular show, specifically around the Oasis Canteen kiosk. 'It is assumed, but unconfirmed, that whatever they're cleaning is related to the closure,' Blog Mickey wrote. 'While Disney has not officially confirmed the reason for the shutdown, the cleaning activity suggests a maintenance or safety-related issue rather than a long-term closure,' Inside the Magic wrote. However, Blog Mickey noted that there didn't appear to be any immediate safety concerns as off-duty cast members were still walking through the area at the time. 4 Parkgoers were rerouted through Toy Story Land to enter Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. Savvapanf Photo í© – The Post has reached out to The Walt Disney Company for comment. Half the park — including some of its most iconic attractions — was off-limits, frustrating patrons who didn't have a chance to prepare for the closure. Echo Lake, Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular, Star Tours, Grand Avenue, and Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway were all closed to guests. 4 Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge in Hollywood Studios remained open. Jeff Gritchen/MediaNews Group/Orange County Register via Getty Images Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge technically remained open, but the usual way to get there from the entrance was cut off, so parkgoers were rerouted through Toy Story Land to enter from the other side. Fan-favorites on Sunset Boulevard stayed open, including The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster. At 10:30 a.m., two hours after the park opens to visitors, Blog Mickey said that the closed-off area 'reopened.' 4 Echo Lake, Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular, Star Tours, Grand Avenue, and Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway were all closed to guests. Joe Burbank/Orlando Sentinel/Tribune News Service via Getty Images Disney's Hollywood Studios is currently in the middle of getting some major changes. The park recently announced that it will be replacing the Star Wars: Launch Bay with a new experience called The Magic of Disney Animation in 2026. The family experience will allow guests to interact with and explore takes on the iconic Disney Animation headquarters. A new Monsters Inc. Land — also known as 'Monstropolis' is currently being build at Hollywood Studios where the Muppet Courtyard used to be. The new land will have a roller coaster that 'will put you right in the middle of the monster action.' 'The first time I saw Monsters, Inc., all I wanted to do was ride on one of those doors like Mike and Sulley,' Disney Experiences Chairman Josh D'Amaro said last year. 'You'll go into the factory and experience the first suspended coaster ever in a Disney park. Remember in the movie how those claws grab the doors and hoist them up into the air to take them away? We're doing that, too. And you're going along for the ride.'
