Cheryl Tweedy rumoured to be joining ITV's The Voice

Former Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Tweedy is in talks to be a mentor on The Voice.
She would reportedly be joining Black Eyed Peas singer will.i.am.
It will be Cheryl's first TV appearance since being a judge on BBC's The Greatest Dancer, which was axed in 2020.

The Voice sees a panel of four coaches who turn their chairs for singing talents, before the singers pick one to be their mentor.
The coaches guide their teams of selected artists through the remainder of the series, with the winner receiving a recording contract with Universal Music Group.
The new series will see new judge Kelly Rowland, Sir Tom Jones and McFly pair Danny Jones and Tom Fletcher as the mentors.
It is reported that the Newcastle-born singer will partner with the fourth and final mentor, will.i.am.
An insider told The Sun: "Will.i.am and Cheryl first worked together 16 years ago and have remained good friends ever since.
'She was the obvious choice to mentor his team when the Battle Rounds returned four years after being axed.
'A lot has happened in Cheryl's personal life since she was last working on a talent show, so she's taking baby steps to put herself back out there.
'Teaming up with will.i.am as a guest mentor seems the perfect way to kick-start her comeback.'
The new series of The Voice is expected to air at the beginning of 2026.

She was also well known for being a judge on the former ITV talent show The X Factor.
During her time on the show, she mentored two winners in Alexandra Burke and Joe McElderry.
Cheryl next served as a judge on the television dance competition The Greatest Dancer from 2019 to 2020.
She dated and had a son with late One Direction star Liam Payne, and was named a co-administrator of Payne's estate, following his sudden death in October 2024.

Payne is set to appear as a guest judge on the Netflix show Building The Band soon.
The insider told The Sun: "It's bittersweet that Cheryl is going to be a guest judge so soon after Liam held the same role in one of his last projects before he died.
"She knows he would be supporting her every step of the way."
