Silver alert issued over missing adult: police
The Winnipeg Police Service (WPS) is requesting the public's assistance in finding a missing adult as part of a silver alert.
Alexa Smith, 32, was last seen near Harbison Avenue West and Watt Street at approximately 10 a.m. on Sunday, according to police.
Smith is described by officers as white, 4'11', heavier build, with blue eyes and short blonde hair. Smith was last seen wearing a red t-shirt, light runners and beige sweatpants.
The WPS said they are concerned for Smith's well-being and are asking anyone with information regarding their whereabouts to contact the WPS Missing Persons Unit at 204-986-6520.
A silver alert is issued when a vulnerable adult is reported missing.

Family of child killed in boat crash brings inspirational message to B.C. track meet
A photo of Lionel Hall, who was killed last month in a boat crash, was displayed at a B.C. track meet where his parents and sister honoured his memory. The family of a 10-year-old boy who lost his life in a speed boat crash near Cates Park in North Vancouver took part in a ceremony to honour him at the BC Athletics Junior Development Track and Field Championships on Saturday. Lionel Hall died after being hit by the speed boat while tubing in Burrard Inlet in June. Another child, who was also tubing, was seriously injured. Lionel's sister Abigail took part in races at South Surrey Athletic Park and was happy the event allowed her family to honour her little brother's life. 'He was really funny. He had a great sense of humour,' Abigail told CTV News. Lionel's father, Jason said if not for the tragedy that took his life, his son would have been a competitor at the event. 'He just always wanted to be better, and he knew being at the championships was always a great marker to set for himself so he could always take that next step and improve,' Hall said. The family took time Saturday to address all the young athletes taking part in the track meet. 'We're just going to have a few moments in memory of Lionel's contribution here and hopefully inspire other kids to live big for Lionel,' said Shelley Klassen, Lionel's mom. The RCMP are investigating speed and alcohol as contributing factors in the boat crash that killed Lionel. The operator of the boat that crashed into the inner tube with the children on it was arrested at the scene but later released. So far, no charges have been laid.

Saskatoon police investigating after multi-vehicle pile up in downtown
The Saskatoon Police Service headquarters can be seen in this file photo. Saskatoon police are investigating after several vehicles collided in the city's downtown core Sunday afternoon. At around 3:35 p.m., patrol officers responded to a multiple vehicle collision in the intersection of Idylwyld Drive and 20th Street West. 2 dead, 1 in critical condition after hit and run on Siksika Nation

Police say five people were out walking when they were hit by a vehicle around 9:30 p.m. Saturday. The vehicle fled the scene. The deceased are a 27-year-old man and a 45-year-old man. A 45-year-old woman was taken to hospital in critical condition. RCMP said the other two people in the group were not injured. RCMP is seeking assistance with the investigation and are looking for anyone who may have video footage or surveillance of the area of 54 Map 3 Subdivision between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. Anyone with information about the hit and run is asked to contact Gleichen RCMP at 403-734-3923. Anonymous tips can be submitted through Crime Stoppers.
