Basu Hanumanthu Naidu Participates in Consecration Ceremony of Sri Anjaneya Swamy Temple Structures at Ellandoddi
Gadwal: BRS Party In-Charge for the Gadwal Constituency, Sri Basu Hanumanthu Naidu, participated in the grand consecration ceremony (Pratishtha Mahotsavam) of the newly constructed Gopuram, Dhwaja Sthambham (flagpole), and Bodrai (temple compound structure) of Sri Sri Sri Anjaneya Swamy Temple in Ellandoddi village of Gattu Mandal.
On this sacred occasion, Sri Hanumanthu Naidu performed special pujas, received Teertha Prasadam, and sought the divine blessings of Lord Anjaneya. Following the rituals, he was felicitated with a traditional shawl by BRS party leader Ellandoddi Raju Naidu in a gesture of honor and respect.
Speaking at the event, Basu Hanumanthu Naidu extended his heartfelt Hanuman Jayanti wishes to the people of Ellandoddi village and the wider Gadwal constituency.
He prayed for the well-being and prosperity of all farmers and citizens in the region, expressing hope that, with the blessings of Lord Anjaneya, everyone would live a long life filled with health, happiness, and abundance. He also wished for continued growth and success of local businesses and institutions.
The event was marked by devotional fervor and strong community participation. Notable attendees included Noor Pasha, S. Ramu Naidu, Kolai Bhaskar, Basu Gopal, Avula Anjaneyulu, Bajari, Kangaru Thimmappa, Amresh, Savari, Nallagattu Ramudu, along with other villagers and devotees from the area.
The atmosphere was filled with spiritual energy and collective prayers for peace and prosperity in the region.

Nakrekal (Nalgonda): Tension prevailed near Nakrekal Police Station in Nalgonda district as a large group of women staged a protest demanding the arrest of former MLA Chirumarthi Lingaiah and BRS state leader Cheruku Sudhakar. The protest was triggered following the arrest of a BRS social media activist Nagendra Babu by the police on Friday. In response, former MLA Lingaiah visited the police station and allegedly lashed out at Circle Inspector Rajashekar. The women alleged that Babu was posting false and misleading content on social media. They claimed that instead of supporting police action, former MLA Lingaiah was spreading baseless allegations and blaming the Congress party, which they condemned as inappropriate. The women further accused BRS leaders of creating unrest in peaceful villages. Holding placards and raising slogans, the women demanded the immediate arrest of both Chirumarthi Lingaiah for making false allegations, and Cheruku Sudhakar for his alleged involvement in inciting disturbances. Later, the protestors submitted a formal representation to the CI. The demonstration saw significant participation from local women, asserting their stand against misinformation and political provocation. It may be mentioned here that the former Nakrekal MLA Lingaiah, on Friday, had alleged that police were acting like Congress agents and targeting BRS activists for questioning on social media. He had condemned the arrest of BRS worker Nagendra Babu from Mangalapally village, who posted a comment in a local WhatsApp group that went viral. Earlier this week, Lingaiah also alleged harassment by officials backed by the ruling party. He alleged that despite making 26 phone calls to the District Collector regarding an issue, there was no response, which forced him to approach the Grievance Day programme on Monday where, after a lengthy argument with the Collector, he submitted his complaint. He further alleged that former Nakrekal Market Committee Chairman Koppula Pradeep Reddy and former Chinnakaparthy Sarpanch Boya Vanishreen's representations were being ignored deliberately. He claimed officials were submitting false reports under pressure from the ruling party and MLA as part of a political conspiracy against Pradeep Reddy.

AIMIM prepares for Jubilee Hills bypoll: Eyes seat after backing BRS in 2023; Muslim, SC vote split may impact Congress, BRS prospects
HYDERABAD: The All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) is preparing the ground to contest the forthcoming by-election to the Jubilee Hills assembly constituency in the city. The bypoll is crucial for all the major political parties - Congress, BRS, BJP and AIMIM - as its result is expected to influence the elections to 150 wards of the GHMC, which are likely to be held by year-end or early next year. The AIMIM had contested this seat in the 2014 and 2023 assembly elections, finishing second and fourth, respectively. The constituency has a sizable population of Muslim and SC voters. AIMIM president and Hyderabad MP has directed the party leaders to prepare for the bypoll. There is speculation that both BRS and Congress may consider holding talks with the AIMIM, as a split in the Muslim vote bank could mar the chances of both parties. The BRS has not lost this seat since the formation of Telangana state. Political observers said the AIMIM contesting the 2023 assembly polls boosted the victory prospects of the then-ruling BRS. In the polls, MIM candidate Mohammed Rashed Farazuddin secured nearly 8,000 votes, finishing fourth. In the 2014 election, AIMIM's Naveen Yadav polled nearly 42,000 votes and finished second. The party did not contest the seat in 2018. The talk in political circles is that the AIMIM entering the electoral battle from Jubilee Hills in the 2023 poll was allegedly to help the BRS. It was more of a friendly sort of contest, said the political analysts. However, the AIMIM, which had openly supported the BRS in the 2023 assembly elections, appears to have changed its strategy after the Congress came to power in the state in Dec 2023. Any move to support the govt will be taken keeping in view the welfare of these sections and the development of the Old City. We have started working in Jubilee Hills. BRS doing propaganda on Jurala, Manjeera: Uttam
Hyderabad: StateIrrigation, Food & Civil Supplies Minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy on Saturday strongly condemned what he described as the propaganda and 'highly condemnable disinformation' being spread by BRS leaders over the condition of old irrigation projects such as Jurala and Manjeera. He said that the issues being witnessed today in these projects were directly the result of BRS's ten-year-long negligence and failure to carry out even routine maintenance, not because of any fault of the Congress government. He underlined that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy had personally taken interest in safeguarding Jurala dam by acting decisively to sanction ₹100 crore for an alternative bridge. Revanth's move was intended to reduce heavy vehicular traffic on the Jurala dam surface and prevent any long-term damage to the dam structure, he explained. 'Revanth Reddy himself was particular that Jurala must be protected, and he ensured this sanction today,' Uttam Kumar Reddy said. He stressed that allegations regarding ropes and stroke gates at Jurala were a non-issue, and engineers and technical experts had clearly confirmed there was no threat to the dam's operations. 'BRS leaders are simply trying to do propaganda and mislead farmers, instead of owning up to their failures,' he charged. He reaffirmed that the Congress government was sincere and fully committed to properly maintaining all old projects while also building new ones for the long-term irrigation needs of Telangana. 'We are systematically restoring every project they ignored - Jurala, Manjeera, Nagarjuna Sagar, SRSP, Kalwakurthy, Koilsagar, Bhima – on priority for Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme. Our goal is to make the entire undivided Mahabubnagar district green and lush again,' he stated. Uttam Kumar Reddy, who inspected Jurala along with Minister Vakiti Srihari, Planning Board Vice-Chairman Dr G Chinna Reddy, MLAs Bandla Krishna Mohan Reddy, Megha Reddy, Parinika Reddy, Vijayudu, AICC secretary Sampath Kumar, former ZP Chairperson Saritha Tirupathiah, Collector Santosh Kumar and senior engineers, said that no minimum operation and maintenance was carried out under BRS rule for ten years. There was no routine desiltation, no sediment or vegetation removal, and no upgrades, he said. 'Jurala's capacity alone has dropped by nearly 20–25% due to silt accumulation,' he revealed.
