However, upon arrival, Krishna is met with hostility from the locals simply because he's not one of their own.Bhairi Lanka itself is no ordinary village. It follows an odd and rigid custom—no man from outside is permitted to communicate with or even glance at Raja, the village's only woman, portrayed by Deepika Pilli. This peculiar rule exists because every eligible man in the village wishes to wed her.Krishna is reluctantly allowed to remain in the village on one condition: he must completely avoid Raja. But things soon spiral when villagers begin to suspect that the two share a hidden bond. How do they know each other? What explains the mysterious presence of only one woman in the entire village? Why does the entire male population seem determined to marry her? The film delves into these curious questions and gradually reveals the answers.In addition to the leading pair, the film features performances by Vennela Kishore, Satya, Getup Srinu, Muralidhar Goud, G. M. Sundar, John Vijay, Rohini, and Jhansi. The movie is crafted by the directorial duo Nitin - Bharath and backed by production house Monks & Monkeys. Over 10 days ahead of its release, the advance booking for YRF's upcoming spy thriller War 2 began in the overseas market. US was the first place where the YRF Spy Universe film started its pre-sales for tickets, looking to bank upon the star power of its two leads - Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR. However, the start has not been what Yash Raj Films had hoped. War 2 is a YRF Spy Universe film that stars Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR. War 2 premiere shows in the US Almost a day after pre-sales were opened in the US for War 2, the Telugu version seems to have picked up some pace, but the Hindi version is lagging far behind. A look at some of the major ticketing platforms like Movie For Tickets shows that most of the big theatres screening the Hindi version have not sold a single ticket for the Wednesday premieres. As per trade sources, YRF is releasing War 2 (Hindi) in 900 screens in the US for paid previews. Telugu 360 reported that as of Sunday morning, only 1600 tickets have been sold across those 900 locations, meaning many of the halls are empty. War 2 premiere shows in the US have seen low turnout in the Hindi version (left) but decent occupancy for the Telugu version (right).
