Badshah calls his ‘I'd rather make babies' comment for Dua Lipa a compliment; internet says ‘cover up to theek se karo'
On Saturday, Badshah took to X (formerly Twitter) and defended his comment about Dua Lipa. He wrote, "I think one of the most beautiful compliments that you could give to a woman that you really admire is to wish for her to mother your children. Meri soch nahi, tumhari soch saamne aayi hai (It's not my thoughts, but your interpretation that's come forward)."
However, the internet didn't seem entirely convinced by his clarification. One X user wrote, "Since when did 'rather make babies' start translating into 'I want her to be the mother of my kids' ???" Another commented, "What kind of compliment is this?" A third added, "Bad cover-up, bro." Another comment read, 'Bhai cover up toh theek se karliya karo (At least cover up properly brother).'
Earlier, Badshah had taken to X and written, "Dua Lipa ❤️." Reacting to this, a fan asked if he was planning to collaborate with the pop singer. Badshah replied, "I'd rather make babies with her, bro." The singer faced backlash for his comment, with many internet users calling it 'disgusting.' Some even referred to him as the "Indian Kanye West."
Meanwhile, Badshah recently sang Gori Hai Kalaiyan along with Kanika Kapoor, Sharvi Yadav, and IP Singh for the film Mere Husband Ki Biwi, which also features Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, and Rakul Preet Singh. He is set to perform in the US as part of his The Unfinished Tour. He will kick off the tour in Virginia on September 5, and after performing in New Jersey, the Bay Area, Seattle, and Dallas, he will conclude the tour in Chicago on September 20.

Elizabeth Hurley stuns in Gaurav Gupta couture: A vintage glamour revival
Elizabeth Hurley embodies Old Hollywood glamour in a stunning Gaurav Gupta couture gown for Ellen von Unwerth's magazine. The moonstone ivory column dress, adorned with crystals and sequins, features long sleeves and a flowing trail. Hurley's minimal accessories and smoky eyes enhance the gown's drama, solidifying her status as a timeless icon. If you thought Old Hollywood glamour was a thing of the past, Elizabeth Hurley is here to prove you wrong and how. The Bedazzled star recently channelled full-blown vintage diva vibes in a breathtaking couture gown by Indian designer extraordinaire Gaurav Gupta , and honestly, it might be one of her most iconic looks yet. In a shoot for Ellen von Unwerth's magazine, Elizabeth slipped into what can only be described as a showstopper: a moonstone ivory column gown straight out of Gaurav Gupta's Autumn-Winter '24 couture collection. Think long sleeves, a sequin-drenched high neck, and a trail that flowed like liquid silver. Covered in shimmering crystals, sequins, and glitter, the gown was all drama - just the kind of drama we want at a photoshoot. Now, when your outfit's doing the most, the smart thing to do is pull back on the accessories and Liz did just that. No chunky jewellery, no over-the-top bling. Just a pair of delicate diamond earrings and a few elegant, stone-studded rings that nodded to the gown's opulence without competing with it. No necklace, no bracelets. Just pure, minimal class. Her makeup? Equally on point. Glowing skin, a soft matte base, and that perfect blush-contour combo that gave her cheeks a sculpted, rosy glow. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Gentle Japanese hair growth method for men and women's scalp Hair's Rich Learn More Undo She went with a pink-tinted lip to brighten things up, while her smoky eyes with kohl, fluttery lashes, and a hint of silvery eyeshadow, added that retro femme fatale edge. Of course, no Gaurav Gupta look is complete without a little extra drama, and the white fur stole draped casually over her shoulders delivered just that. It added that final layer of luxe that made the whole look feel like it belonged on a red carpet or better yet, a classic black-and-white film set. If you know Gaurav Gupta, you know he's a master of sculptural silhouettes and experimental textures, and this gown was peak Gaurav. The metallic 3D embroidery, that signature 'crystal erosion' effect, and the fluid design gave the dress that futuristic-meets-classic vibe that's become his trademark. No wonder the designer captioned his Instagram post, 'Elizabeth Hurley wears Gaurav Gupta Couture for the Ellen Von Unwerth's Magazine issue. ' And it's not just Liz who's fallen for his magic. Gaurav's pieces have already graced the likes of Beyoncé, Cardi B, Lizzo, Jenna Ortega, Megan Thee Stallion, you name it. His designs have shown up at Cannes, the Grammys, the Met Gala… you get the idea. He's global. And seeing Elizabeth Hurley in one of his creations? It's the crossover we didn't know we needed. Elizabeth Hurley isn't just wearing a gown. She's wearing a story, one that blends classic Hollywood charm with bold Indian couture. And we are so here for it.

This is so pathetic to see Indian girls dancing in office an d welcoming a foreign client and the becahra client also forced to dance. Such showcasing will only make other countries feel Indian offices are causal and not worthy of serious work," a user wrote in the caption along with the video post on X (formerly Twitter). The video has sparked a heated debate online, with some people praising the employees' enthusiasm and cultural expression, while others criticise it as unprofessional and embarrassing. Some users defend the video, saying it's a lighthearted way to build camaraderie and showcase Indian hospitality. They argue that such celebrations are common in workplaces and can help with team bonding. Others have slammed the dancing, calling it "pathetic" and "embarrassing". They argue that it reflects poorly on Indian offices. Some users also highlight broader concerns about power dynamics and colonial hangovers in Indian workplaces. "Nothing screams we're not serious louder than making a foreign client do bhangra at a Q4 review," a user wrote. "We've got world-class engineers writing billion-dollar code and HR's out here rehearsing flash mobs for client visits." "This person will go back and announce Layoffs understanding how many extra people he hired," another wrote. Meanwhile, a third user said, "This is done in most workplaces to break the fatigue of sitting behind a desk and doing a mental reset. It helps with the physical as well as mental wellbeing of these workers."
