Jurassic World: The Experience Brings Prehistoric Thrills To Singapore From 29 May
Held at Cloud Forest, it leans into the buzz once doors open, leading visitors through a short passageway adorned with themed decor, including a giant eye peeking out of foliage. Then comes the distinctive logo that fans have come to know and love, with two Brachiosaurus – each towering at 8.5 metres – standing in front of the waterfall.
Moving on from Brachiosaurus Falls to Where It All Began reveals tiny Compsognathus on display, accompanied by iconic audio excerpts from the films, alongside a chance to get up close and personal with dinosaur babies on the side. Operating on the concept of a petting zoo, the interactive session invites the public to lay their hands on them, while the Aviary exhibit features a pair of Velociraptors fixing their gaze on Pterandon nests in the distance. A protective Pteranodon hovers above, joining its other counterparts in the skies.
Hot on its heels is Tyrannosarurus Breakout, one of the biggest highlights of the event. A ferocious, animatronic T-Rex serves as the centrepiece, letting out a loud roar as it breaks through a shattered fence designed to mirror the set design used for filming. The apex predator isn't the only sign of life here: cycads, ancient plants that grew across the land during the dinosaur era, can be found amid the action, with their roots tracing all the way back to over 280 million years ago.
In fact, Evolution Walk is where the undergrowth gets to shine. Apart from chronicling its over-time growth from freshwater algae to the various species now inhabiting the earth, the education trail also showcases 3D recreations of long-extinct plants. At the end of the road lies Stiggy Truck, where a Stygiomoloch emerges from a cargo box after a few seconds of violent shaking.
The next encounter thrusts the Brachiosaurus back into the spotlight again – this time, surrounded by staggeringly tall ancient conifers as it sways its long neck gently. But the true fun begins at the Dilophosaurus Ambush, where the carnivorous dinosaurs lie in ambush amongst toppled crates and open cages, bearing their frills and hissing away just like in the first Jurassic Park film.
It leads into Muzzle Raptors, featuring the pack of sisters Echo, Delta, and Charlie, who evoke a lifelike quality with their displays of micro-expressions, such as blinking eyes and jaws locked in a grimace. An interesting note about the zone is how it inherits the same setup that riders encounter while queuing for Jurassic World VelociCoaster in Universal Studios Orlando, which makes for a neat attention to detail.
Saving the best for the last, Blue, the leading raptor of the Jurassic World movies, is at the front and centre of The Final Roar. Here, visitors can catch the intelligent dinosaur in the flesh, complete with a dramatic entrance, jaw-snapping sound effects and an opportunity to get even closer to the setpiece. As Jurassic World: The Experience comes to a close, remember to snap a few shots against different animated backdrops at the Jurassic World Gate, or soak in a contemplative arrangement inspired by iconic soundtracks across the franchise at the Prehistoric Grove.
The adventure officially ends at the retail store, where exclusive Jurassic World merchandise like plushies, t-shirts, pins and magnets designed in the style of warning signs, luggage tags, and more, await.
Jurassic World: The Experience will be open from 9am to 9pm starting 29 May at Cloud Forest. Tickets are priced at S$22 for Singapore Residents belonging to the children (3-12 years old) or seniors (60 and above) category, and S$26 for adults, with purchase available on Garden by the Bay's website.

Jurassic World Rebirth
Reel and real life in a tentpole blockbuster franchise has never been more aligned than with the massive Jurassic Park/World franchise. Both the scientists in the long-running science fiction film series created by author Michael Crichton, and the studio executives responsible for the previous two trilogies, long and continue to resurrect relics of the past, in the hopes that mankind finds new ways to appreciate that which has come before. Roaring from the success of 2014's Godzilla reboot, the much-loved 2016 prequel, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, and 2023's standout original sci-fi film, The Creator , director Gareth Edwards has dived back into his franchise roots to take on another on-screen giant – the dinosaurs of Jurassic World. Teaming up with screenwriter David Koepp, who co-wrote the first two Steven Spielberg-directed Jurassic Park films from 1993 and 1997, the duo enlists Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali, Jonathan Bailey, Rupert Friend, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, and Ed Skrein on yet another journey into the modern world of dinosaurs. Set five years after the events of the last trilogy, capped by the slightly lumbering behemoth that was 2022's Jurassic World Dominion , dinosaurs that have been brought back through cloning no longer find Earth hospitable, and now reside in tropical locales, away from the bustling civilisation. But even as mankind has grown tired of the overgrown reptiles, the scientists have not and pharmaceutical representative Martin Krebs (Friend) entices covert operation expert Zora Benett (Johansson) to lead a team of operatives, including paleontologist Dr. Henry Loomis (Bailey, Wicked ), to infiltrate an abandoned InGen dinosaur research facility in the Atlantic Ocean, to retrieve three DNA specimens necessary for the development of a modern medical breakthrough that can save millions of lives. Even if you're watching with both eyes closed, it's painfully obvious who the bad guys are here, and if you're expecting some new plot twist to add to franchise lore, you'll be really upset. As an extension of the original duology, there's little in terms of narrative surprises from Koepp, who basically defined the franchise bible with Crichton. Given previously revealed global fallout of dinosaurs leaving the island and travelling the globe in the previous trilogy, the award-winning screenwriter conveniently negates it all by bringing the mammals back to the tropics, and having yet another team explore an island teeming with dinosaurs. And you can't have a dinosaur movie without putting some children's lives at stake and that comes in the form of the Delgados – Reuben (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, The Lincoln Lawyer ), his eldest daughter Teresa (Luna Blaise, Manifest ) her boyfriend Xavier (David Iacono, Dead Boy Detectives ), and his youngest, Isabella, played by newcomer Audrina Miranda. Shipwrecked after their clipper gets flipped by the aquatic Mosasaurus, they are picked up by Duncan Kincaid (Ali, Green Book ) and his crew led by Zora, who rescue the quartet but cannot bring them to safety on land, on the account that their infiltration of the research facility is illegal and cannot draw attention. But attention to detail is what audiences want, to watch the many dinosaurs succeed in killing, as we relish in seeing selfish human beings get chomped on and gnawed upon, and Edwards proves himself an expert in deaths as one by one, the expedition loses men after men across several body parts, and struggle to escape. But after six outings in 22 years, there's an odd sense of familiarity as we recognise the jump scares when random reptiles emerge, whether it's due to the musical cues, or that we've all been there, done that. To his credit, Edwards gets the pacing down, whether it's when the boat attempts to escape a preying Mosasaurus in the sea, or take on the Mutadon, a Pteranodon-Velociraptor hybrid, or when the kids just want to escape a menacing Tyrannosaurus Rex. Every escape and near-miss feels earned, even if predictable, and every death deserved because, like in horror films, those who are not aware that they live in a world where dinosaurs exist, are dispensable. Sadly, the much-touted appearance of a new lizard, Distortus Rex, is rather underwhelming – we get it already, Rexes are scary, but it's about time there is a new monster to face off against. Johansson, Bailey and Ali lead with the character building, which Edwards provides time to flourish, but even then, it feels slightly tacked on and predictable. Like with Reuben's unhappiness with Terasa's deadbeat boyfriend Xavier, until he continually proves himself on the island. But there are also things he misses, including Reuben's malady with his injured foot that miraculously heals each time he's being chased or hunted, or if one of his girls needs help. Yet, it's these sparse emotional elements that remind us this isn't yet another dinosaur flick, as Edwards also spends time showing how much Loomis loves the reptiles, cueing the familiar music to match the majesty of the one-time rulers of the planet. It's not forced, nor is it inserted for the sake of it and just five seconds of seeing him be enthralled by dinosaurs and charm Zora, you forget that once upon a time, the studio saw it fit to make Chris Pratt the lead in this series. Through their combined efforts, and even with the reused story beats, Jurassic Park Rebirth establishes that there is still life in this prehistoric series. Like it or not, the scientists in the franchise, like the studio executives behind the films, don't see the need to stop doing whatever it takes to bring us back in time, so why not just enjoy the ride. Summary If only there's a way for Hollywood to bring adventure and excitement back from the brink of extinction, the same way that scientists have done for the long-dead dinosaurs in the long-running Jurassic Park/World franchise. Rebirth isn't a reboot or a rehash, but a retelling that, while unnecessary, isn't as rejuvenating as intended. ‘Jurassic World Rebirth' Fan Premiere Screening Roars To Life With 200-Strong Crowd
Life finds a way, and so too did the Jurassic World franchise, which has grown since its 1993 beginnings to become a household name and icon of the silver screen. After three years in hibernation, the franchise roars to life once more with Jurassic World Rebirth , and Singapore fans were treated to an early encounter with the magnificent prehistoric beasts once more during an early Geek Culture fan premiere on 1 July 2025. Hosted in partnership with UIP Singapore, the screening was met with a full-house attendance of dino-heads and Jurassic franchise fans alike, all buzzing with excitement on the next nasty monstrosity the film is bound to unleash. Even before the cinema doors opened, anticipation was at an all-time high, with ample opportunities for fans to snag a quick photo op with the venue filled to the brim with movie posters and screens. Once seated in the hall, cheers of excitement and laughter erupted upon the sight of our host Debbi, who was all decked out in her T. rex onesie, as she took them through the pre-show activities, with a lucky few even walking away with exclusive merchandise, including five sets of Jurassic World Rebirth premiums consisting of a dyed T-shirt, beach towel, ice mold, alongside other goodies like themed tees from and 12-inch dinosaur figures from Mattel. Picking up five years after 2022's Jurassic World Dominion , this latest chapter follows new series protagonists Zora Bennett (Scarlett Johansson, Black Widow ), who teams up with Dr. Henry Loomis (Jonathan Bailey, Wicked ) and ex-military leader Duncan Kincaid (Mahershala Ali, Moonlight ) on a mission to a prohibited island in the Atlantic, the site of its original Jurassic Park , to retrieve DNA samples while stalked by all manner of prehistoric nightmares such as the Distortus rex (nicknamed the D. rex), a six-limbed mutation of the original T. rex. In series tradition, the film had no shortage of heart-pounding moments, as our heroes are left powerless against the various towering beasts, now mutated in never-before-seen ways (as though coming face to face with a regular dinosaur wasn't already intimidating enough). Its lengthy two-hour and 14-minute runtime gave further opportunities to raise the stakes, allowing for more varied and thrilling encounters no longer confined to a mere park, but an entire island this time around. It's these new additions that further enhance this latest outing's appeal, as the film packs enough surprising new prehistoric faces to keep even the most die-hard Jurassic fan on their toes, a testament to how far the franchise has come, and the ever-lasting wonder of witnessing dinosaurs coming to life once again. Like its namesake, Jurassic World Rebirth isn't just a revival of the long-running franchise, it's a rekindling of mankind's fascination with what has long been extinct, and as the films have so aptly described in the past, we didn't ask for reality, we asked for more teeth. Singapore's First 'Love and Deepspace' Pop-up Event To Steal Hearts In Jul 2025
The heart wants what it wants, even light-years away. After charming players right, left, and centre for the past year, Infold Games' popular otome title – referring to a story-based romance game targeted towards women – Love and Deepspace is bringing its magic to the real world, including Singapore. In a first for the country, ave8 at Resorts World Sentosa will play host an immersive exhibition for the game to mark its latest version update. The event is scheduled to run from 18 to 31 July, but there's a catch: doors are only open on weekends (Friday to Sunday), 11am to 7pm, offering a tight limited-time window for fans to experience it in person.
