Chelsea are heavy odds-on favourites with Sky Bet to win the first leg of their Europa Conference League semi-final tonight - with Enzo Maresca's side priced at 2/9.
The Blues have been flawless throughout their 2024-25 Conference League campaign to date - winning all six of their league phase fixtures before reigning supreme in their round of 16 and quarter-final ties 3-1 and 4-2 respectively (aggregate).
Meanwhile, their opponents Djurgardens IF are sizeable outsiders at 17/2 to be victorious at home tonight, while a draw is priced at 5/1 odds.
Elsewhere, in a separate market - Sky Bet are offering four Price Boosts for this contest - the first two of which include 10+ match shots on target at 10/11, and Marc Cucurella to commit 2+ fouls at 2/1.
There have been 10+ match shots on target in seven of Chelsea's last nine Conference League games, while Cucurella has committed 33 fouls at a league level this season.
Meanwhile, the other two boosts need Cole Palmer to have 3+ shots on target at 7/2, and Reece James to score from outside the area at 20/1.
Palmer has scored 14 goals in the English top-flight this campaign, while both of James' goals in 2024-25 have been from outside the area.

George Ford's five-word statement speaks volumes ahead of 100th England cap

With his family having flown all the way to Argentina to watch him become only the eighth man to bring up three figures for England, it is the perfect time to appreciate one of the greats of the English game. George Ford is not one for excessive sentiment so even the occasion of his 100th cap for England is just 'another day at the office'. And yet with his family having flown all the way to Argentina to watch him become only the eighth man to bring up three figures for England, it is the perfect time to appreciate one of the greats of the English game. A precocious talent who was playing senior rugby at just 16, Ford was crowned World Rugby Junior Player of the Year ahead of the likes of Sam Cane and Beauden Barrett while playing against players two years his senior in 2011. Little wonder that he has gone on to write his name into the record books. ‌ Even with the competition from his good friend Owen Farrell, and more recently the Smiths - Marcus and Fin, Ford has quietly gone about his business as one of the best playmakers the country has produced. ‌ He is still only 32, and even if his position in the hierarchy shifted during the Six Nations – playing just 24 minutes in Cardiff – he has no plans to make it 100 and out. Farrell's possible return could complicate matters but given his form at the end of the season for Sale, there is a case that Ford has never been better. As a leader for a young England side in La Plata, it is impossible to picture a better candidate, and unsurprisingly, his only focus is on celebrating with a victory. He said: 'Once selection is made and you know you're going to be getting out on the field at the weekend, it becomes a bit more real. It's an unbelievably proud moment for me, but more importantly my family. "But the most important thing at the weekend is the team and having a really good performance and getting a good result.' The dream scenario would have been to bring up his 100th cap at Twickenham, back where he played the final minute of a win over Wales back in 2014 on debut. But there is something fitting about the fact his landmark moment will come in the compact environment of the Estadio Jorge Luis Hirschi in La Plata. ‌ It is eight years since Ford last played in Argentina, again after being overlooked for Lions selection, and the football-like atmosphere of stadia in the land of steak and Malbec has not been forgotten. He said: 'I was a bit taken aback by it eight years ago when I first came over here. It is constant, up on their feet, singing, chanting, a football environment. It's an incredible atmosphere to play in. 'From what I can remember last time, I absolutely loved it. It was something that we had never experienced before as English players really. Coming to a country like this and going into one of those environments. It brought the best out of us and I think it could do in the next couple of weeks. How can you not be up for a game going into an environment like that?' A bouncing football stadium for a hundredth cap. Some day at the office!

Rangers on brink of three transfers as Vardy 'keen' and Turgeman price named amid £5m standoff

Russell Martin's side are set to bolster their ranks amid a whirlwind week of deals Rangers are ramping up their business with the first fixture of pre-season just around the corner - and the Champions League qualifiers rapidly approaching. Max Aarons, Joe Rothwell and Emmanuel Fernandez are already in the door alongside Lyall Cameron after the former Dundee player agreed a pre-contract deal last season. ‌ But with Russell Martin era set to kick off with the friendly clash against Club Brugge on Sunday before the route to join Europe's elite clubs starts with Panathinaikos more deals are expected. ‌ Rangers are on the verge of completing a deal for Luton Town ace Thelo Aasgaard - with the Norwegian international expected to pen a four-year contract. Record Sport understands that the club are finalising the transfer fee that they will payout to the English League One side - which includes a substantial fee and potential add-ons. Wolves defender Nasser Djiga is reportedly also on the brink of agreeing a loan move to Ibrox. Djiga arrived at Molineux from Serbian outfit Red Star Belgrade in February this year for a £10million fee on a five-year deal but has struggled for regular game time. After managing just 65 minutes across his five appearances for Wolves in the Premier League and one FA Cup start, Pereira refused to guarantee the 22-year-old more minutes next term. Sky Sports report that a deal is "close" to being agreed with a medical expected to take place in the coming days. ‌ Conor Coady also looks set to arrive with the Leicester Mercury reporting that Leicester City are keen to offload the centre-back. The 32-year-old is in the final year of his deal with reports that the Foxes' are desperate to sell the England international - who is among the highest earners at the club. ‌ Sporting director Kevin Thelwell is leading the charge to sign Coady having brought him to Wolves and Everton previously - and he may not be the only ex-Leicester man making a move to Glasgow. Jamie Vardy is now reportedly 'keen" on a move to Ibrox after interest from the Glasgow giants, report The Daily Mail. The Light Blues are said to be among the clubs chasing the 38-year-old after he became a free agent at the end of last season. ‌ Russell Martin is in need of a new striker with both Hamza Igamane and Cyriel Dessers potentially heading for the exit. Meanwhile, Swiss champions FC Basel have hit a roadblock in negotiations with FC Troyes over Metinho - opening the door for a switch to Rangers. ‌ The Ibrox club were linked with a move for the 22-year-old Brazilian midfielder this week after his successful loan spell with the Swiss champions. He helped them to a Swiss Cup double this season, but his loan spell has expired and he is back at French second tier outfit. Troyes paid £4million to land Metinho four years ago from Fluminense - but reports suggest that a Basel are unwilling to meet the £5million asking price that would make the deal permanent. "A deal is parked, but he absolutely wants to stay and knows it would be good for him."

European football was 'massive' in Rothwell's decision to join Rangers

Joe Rothwell says the chance to play European football was 'massive' for him when the opportunity to join Rangers came around. The 30-year-old midfielder completed his move from English Premier League side Bournemouth earlier this week and has quickly set his sights on qualifying for the Champions League and winning trophies at Ibrox. Getting to work with Russell Martin again was also a major pull in moving to Glasgow and he believes the manager's style of play could be a perfect fit for the club. Rothwell, who spent last season on loan at Leeds and helped them win the English Championship title, came close to joining Rangers in 2022, but the lure of the Premier League was too strong. So, when the chance came round again, he jumped at it without hesitation. Speaking to the media on Friday, he said: 'I'm delighted it's finally done, and can't wait to get going now. 'Just before I signed for Bournemouth, it was a toss-up between the two. Obviously, I decided to go to Bournemouth at the time, but I was thankful that the offer came back around, and I jumped straight at it. 'As soon as I found out that Russell Martin was getting the job, he gave me a phone call and that was it. 'I think he sees the game the same way as I would like to play if I was a manager, so that was the main pull, but it was more about how he is as a guy that you want to play for him, not just about how he is on the pitch. 'As a kid you dream of playing European football, and we have a massive game coming up in a couple of weeks time, so that is our main focus at the minute. 'If we can get through that, then as I say, the chance to play European football is massive. 'From the outside, you can see how huge this club is. It's built to win trophies, and hopefully, we can come in here, and if the manager can implement how he wants to do things, then we can be really successful and go on and win things.'
