Gregg Wallace's BBC MasterChef 'replacement' is a 'natural fit' for show

Grace Dent is reportedly set to 'permanently' replace Gregg Wallace on BBC MasterChef.
The food critic was said to be a 'natural fit' for the show, which is due to begin filming in Birmingham at the end of summer.
The claims came days after Wallace, 60, shared a warning he would "not go quietly" after he was sacked by production company Banijay following allegations of misconduct, which he strongly denies.

However a source said Grace, who also replaced Gregg on Celebrity MasterChef earlier this year, was "a natural fit" for the show.
They told The Sun she "loves to support up-and-coming talent in the industry and loves the format of the show", adding: "Filming is expected to start at the end of the summer through December.
"They are also filming at new studios in Birmingham, so it will be a fresh start all round."
Grace, who briefly starred in the 2023 series of I'm A Celebrity... previously said of the show: "I've been watching MasterChef since I was a girl sitting with my dad on the sofa.
"My whole family watches it. It's all about uncovering and championing talent."

She said landing the Celebrity MasterChef gig was "more than a dream" and she was "very lucky to be stepping in".
John Torode has also previously said of Grace: "I have loved working with Grace on MasterChef over the years.
"She has been an excellent guest, an inspiring critic and also set some incredible challenges."
MasterChef and Grace Dent's representatives have been contacted for comment by the Mirror.

Sources Say Charli XCX and George Daniel Are Having a Party Wedding in Italy This Summer

Charli XCX and her fiance, The 1975 drummer George Daniel, are gearing up to make it official this summer! According to The Sun, the couple are planning to exchange vows in Sicily and are sparing no expense with a "six figure" budget. "Charli and George fell in love with Sicily and knew they wanted to get married there," a source says. "It's incredibly secluded and romantic. There will be no expense spared. It's costing tens of thousands of pounds and visually it will be mesmerizing. Charli and George said they wanted a massive party and there are no restrictions on when the bar has to close, so it can go on all night." The source adds that "They have both had such a busy summer with massive shows, but from mid-August they're able to slow down and focus on their big day. It's going to be pretty star-studded too, with plenty of their celeb mates making the journey over to Sicily to watch them say 'I do.' Charli and George are so excited to become man and wife." An insider previously told the outlet back in June that "They've found a venue that they think is perfect for their unique style of wedding, which won't exactly be traditional. The main aim is to have everyone they love come together, and obviously, there are plenty of people who are desperate for an invite." FYI, Charli spoke about her wedding plans to The Howard Stern Show in October of last year, saying (via Just Jared) "We are kind of like planning it slowly. I don't know. It's like, we're both very like chill and we kind of just wanna have a party. It's our vibe. Like neither of us are particularly formal about like marriage, I guess, or care about the formalities of like the ceremony or whatever. We just like wanna be together forever and have a party with our friends, is our vibe. So that's kind of like what we're aiming for wedding wise." BBC says it is ‘untenable' for Gregg Wallace to host 'MasterChef' after sexual misconduct report

LONDON (AP) — The BBC said Monday it will no longer work with 'MasterChef' host Gregg Wallace after a report found that dozens of misconduct allegations made against the hit cooking show presenter were upheld. The report, led by a law firm, said 45 out of the 83 allegations made against Wallace during his time on the show between 2005 and 2018 were substantiated. It said the majority of the claims related to 'inappropriate sexual language and humor,' with one incident of unwelcome physical contact. Wallace, 60, stepped away from hosting the hit BBC reality show, which is made by an independent production company, last year while an investigation was launched into allegations made by multiple women that he made inappropriate sexual comments and behaved inappropriately over 17 years. The BBC has come under pressure over how it handles sexual misconduct allegations and how Wallace had continued to front some of its most popular shows for so long despite the complaints. The broadcaster issued a statement of apology, adding Wallace's 'return to MasterChef is untenable.' 'The BBC has informed Mr Wallace we have no plans to work with him in future,' it said. 'Although the full extent of these issues were not known at the relevant time, opportunities were missed to address this behavior, both by the production companies running MasterChef and the BBC." The broadcaster previously said that Wallace was warned by his employers after a complaint in 2018, and an internal investigation at the time found his behavior was 'unacceptable and unprofessional.' The latest investigation found that there was little or no formal training or clear escalation procedures in place for staff — many of those working on the show were freelancers — leading to underreporting and normalization of inappropriate behaviour. Wallace has strongly denied the claims. In December, he drew an angry backlash after he alleged that complaints about his behavior came from 'a handful of middle-class women of a certain age." In a statement posted on his Instagram account last week, he said: 'I will not go quietly. I will not be cancelled for convenience. I was tried by media and hung out to dry well before the facts were established." "MasterChef" is one of the BBC's most popular and long-running competition shows, and has been adapted in other countries including 'MasterChef Australia.'

The Couture Challenge—It Was a Face-Off of Extremes on the Streets at the Fall 2025 Shows

Do opposites attract? Couture might be all about glamour and glitz on the runway, but that's not the whole story. Take Pierpaolo Piccioli, who showed up at Demna's final Balenciaga show on the back of a motorcycle in dad sneakers. Or consider Sofia Coppola, who proves that you can in fact wear a pair of simple white jeans to sit front-row at Chanel. But of course couture isn't couture without some opulence, of the kind that Cardi B. delivered at Schiaparelli and Lisa Rinna gave at Balenciaga. Below we've rounded up the extremes of street style at the fall 2025 couture shows in Paris. Round 1: Jeans or Couture? Are you more Sofia C or Cardi B?
