Where EA Sports ranks Autzen Stadium in their College Football 26 video game
One popular ranking is "Toughest Places to Play." This affects gameplay, making it difficult or easier to play in, depending on whether you are the home team, just like real life. The Oregon Ducks find it easier to play in Autzen Stadium than the Washington Huskies do, obviously.

And speaking of Autzen Stadium, the home of the Ducks is ranked as one of the loudest places to play in the entire nation. Since this is the second year of the game, we have a comparison to draw upon in rankings. Oregon fans will be pleased to see Autzen has moved up from their spot in the CFB25 rankings, but perhaps not as much as they would like.
The folks down at Texas A&M may have the biggest beef (no pun intended) with the rankings, as they weren't able to hold on to the top spot and fell a considerable distance. We're not sure what changed, but boy, did their ranking.
Here are the Top 25 places to play, according to EA Sports, the capacity of each facility, when it opened and where it ranked last season.

Kirk Herbstreit Issues 'Warning' To Entire College Football World
Kirk Herbstreit Issues 'Warning' To Entire College Football World originally appeared on The Spun. ESPN college football analyst Kirk Herbstreit has issued a "warning" to the rest of the college football world. Herbstreit, a top analyst for ESPN, believes that locker rooms could collapse if something isn't done about the future of college football. Too many players are transferring, too many players are making decisions based on strictly money and too many programs are seeing a ton of turnover every year. The ESPN college football analyst believes that at some point, locker rooms could collapse, if something isn't done to stabilize the sport moving forward. He's probably not wrong about that, either. Many college football coaches seem to agree with Herbstreit, too. 'I hate to say, I don't have faith because you have to have faith for anything to work. So, I have a lot of faith going in, but I'll let you know in a year. You know, the NCAA couldn't control it in the past. There's no control right now. So it's got to be better than nothing, right?' Pittsburgh head coach Pat Narduzzi said. Many head coaches are just pushing for more consistency across the sport when it comes to controlling what's happening. Wake Forest head coach Jake Dickert is part of that group, too. 'We've got to decide if we want Major League Baseball or if we want the NFL. Major League Baseball has some teams with $250 million [payrolls] and some teams playing Moneyball at $40 million,' Dickert said. 'Or do we want a hard salary cap like the NFL, and who's doing the best with their resources? You know, the NFL doesn't have GoFundMe for free agents, right? They don't; they play with a certain set of rules.' College football is working on solutions, following the NCAA vs. House settlement, but time will tell if it's enough. Lincoln Riley believes this year's Trojans have what it takes
The USC Trojans had a disappointing start to their tenure in the Big Ten last season. They finished 7-6 overall and had an abysmal 4-5 record in the conference. This was not the usual success we were accustomed to seeing from USC, even though the Trojans are in the Big Ten, the best conference in college football. The expectations were still higher. Lincoln Riley is confident with what he has in the building. He believes that this year will be different. Adrian Medina with the Sporting Tribune broke down Riley's recent comments on USC's depth this season. "Trojans Head Coach Lincoln Riley, entering his fourth year at USC, was confident about the team's sufficiency of depth and support during this year's Big 10 Media Day. It's very apparent that USC is extremely serious about making this football program and returning it back to being one of the greats of college football," Riley said in his opening statement at the podium. "With our current team, seeing how our roster has evolved on all sides, especially defensively, after the huge improvements that we've made a year ago. The championship-caliber depth that is starting to be established all across the board is something that we have all worked hard for." The Trojans have a better coaching staff now with the addition of former NFL defensive coordinator Rob Ryan. They also have a more experienced roster this season. Out of their 68 players, 44 of them saw some action last season, and 17 Trojans got a chance to start. That is the experience needed to help the Trojans be a more competitive team this season in the Big Ten. They can mix in the talented freshmen and transfers they have acquired. It is notable to see Lincoln Riley have confidence in the team he is fielding this year, but now the talk needs to turn into action and results.
