Ben had been battling stage four stomach cancer, which he only been diagnosed with at the end of last year.
He spent his final moments surrounded by his family, according to the publication.
Ben became well known after his story was featured on 90 Day Fiance.
He was a 52-year-old father of four when it aired, who met his 22-year-old girlfriend, Mahogany Roca online.
The show chronicles the lives of such couples who meet online and apply for a K-1 visa - which sets the 90 day clock ticking in which to get married.
They would later appear on a follow up spinoff 90 Day Diaries, in which they revealed they had got married a few months earlier.
While their story was being aired, several viewers were doubtful that the couple would meet.
Some fans reckoned that someone could have been catfishing him during their online interactions.
But Ben and Mahogany would go on to meet nonetheless, proving the naysayers wrong.
They confirmed their engagement on a YouTube video in 2022, which on a trip to see Mahogony in Peru.
The couple were reportedly still together at the time of Ben's death.

Lizzo has dazzled fans with her drastic weight loss, but mentally, the hitmaker has said she isn't feeling any different. The hitmaker, 37, who has admitted to having a complicated relationship with food, is working on making emotional changes to her self-perception. 'I like how I look now. I still think I'm big. I'm still wearing plus-size clothing. I have the same rolls. I got the same belly, the same thighs — I think I'm just a smaller version,' she told Women's Health in an interview published on Monday. Regarding her confidence about herself, even before dropping an estimated 60 pounds, she explained, 'Body positivity has nothing to do with staying the same. 'Body positivity is the radical act of daring to exist loudly and proudly in a society that told you you shouldn't exist.'
