Glenn Maxwell's 2025 cricket season has been a story of two halves: a disappointing IPL campaign followed by a spectacular MLC 2025 performance. Let's dive into his contrasting stats across both tournaments. MLC 2025 - Innings Played
2 / 9
6 Innings Played in MLC 2025 The MLC 2025, however, has been a completely different story. Maxwell has played 6 innings, but this time, his impact has been far greater. He turned the tournament on its head with his explosive batting. MLC 2025 - Runs Scored
3 / 9
227 Runs in MLC 2025 In MLC 2025, Maxwell has scored an astonishing 227 runs in just 6 innings, making him one of the most consistent and destructive batters in the tournament. His ability to accelerate and change the game has been on full display. MLC 2025 - Strike Rate
4 / 9
200.8 Strike Rate in MLC 2025 Maxwell's performance in MLC has been explosive, with a strike rate of 200.8. His aggressive approach at the crease has been unmatched, often taking the game away from the opposition in a matter of overs. MLC 2025 - Sixes Hit
5 / 9
23 Sixes in MLC 2025 Maxwell's firepower has been evident with 23 sixes in MLC 2025, proving his dominance with the bat. His ability to clear the ropes consistently has made him a key player and a fan favorite in the tournament. Maxwell's IPL Career Stats
6 / 9
141 Matches | 2819 Runs Over his IPL career, Maxwell has played 141 matches, accumulating a total of 2819 runs. While his 2025 season has been subpar, his overall IPL record showcases his talent and consistency over the years. IPL 2025 - Strike Rate
7 / 9
97.95 Strike Rate in IPL 2025 Maxwell's strike rate of 97.95 in IPL 2025 reflects his inability to get going. He couldn't unleash his aggressive style or dominate the bowlers, and that hurt his team's overall momentum in the tournament. IPL 2025 - Runs Scored
8 / 9
48 Runs in IPL 2025 In his 6 innings, Maxwell managed to score only 48 runs, struggling to make any substantial contribution. While he had his moments, it wasn't the explosive Maxwell we're used to seeing in the IPL. IPL 2025 - Innings Played
9 / 9
6 Innings Played in IPL 2025 Maxwell's IPL 2025 was underwhelming, as he featured in just 6 innings. Despite being a key player for his franchise, he couldn't find the rhythm required to impact games consistently in this year's IPL.

Bad news for Kohli's RCB, star cricketer will be questioned for...
In this collection of pictures we shall know the bad news for Virat Kohli's RCB as star player has got into a serious problem. Let's know what happened. Royal Challengers Bengaluru's fast bowler Yash Dayal is in trouble. A woman has accused him of mental and physical abuse on the pretext of marriage. According to India Today's report, the woman from Ghaziabad has registered the case on the Chief Minister's online complaint portal. The report quoted sources as saying that the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister's Office has sought a report from the Circle Officer of Indirapuram in this matter. The police have been given time till July 21 to resolve the matter. The woman has also lodged a complaint on the women's helpline on June 14, 2025. In the FIR lodged by the woman, she has stated that she was in a relationship with Yash Dayal for five years and the cricketer has been mentally and physically abusing her since then. The statement also states that the fast bowler also took money from her during this period and he has done this with many women. The woman said that she has proof of screenshots, video calls and photos apart from the chats between the two. The statement reads, "The complainant has been in a relationship with the cricketer for the last five years. The cricketer exploited the woman emotionally, mentally and physically by promising to marry her. The cricketer introduced the complainant to his family and behaved like a husband, which made the woman trust the cricketer. When the complainant realised the deception and protested against it, she was beaten and mentally tortured. During the relationship, the complainant was also harassed financially and emotionally." It further reads, "Later it was found out that this person was in a similar wrong relationship with other girls. On 14 June 2025, a complaint was lodged on the women's helpline by calling 181, but the action could not proceed further at the police station." Yash Dayal is the same player on whose ball Rinku Singh hit five sixes in five balls in the last over of the IPL match and gave Kolkata Knight Riders a win. Yash used to play for Gujarat Titans then and later joined RCB.

Watch: Harpreet Brar joins India's nets session at Edgbaston ahead of 2nd Test
As India prepare for the second Test against England at Edgbaston, a familiar face from the IPL drew attention during their practice session. Punjab Kings spinner Harpreet Brar was seen bowling in the nets alongside the Test squad in Birmingham, prompting speculation among fans and observers known for his left-arm spin and all-round abilities in the IPL, is not part of India's official Test squad for the tour. He was also seen wearing a training outfit different from the team's official kit, suggesting that he was invited as a net bowler or guest to assist the team's preparations, rather than being formally included in the paaji's left arm magic in #TeamIndia's camp! #ENGvIND # Punjab Kings (@PunjabKingsIPL) June 28, 2025advertisementThe Indian bowling attack is under pressure heading into the Birmingham Test, after a disappointing loss in Leeds. Jasprit Bumrah's five-wicket haul in the first innings gave India a strong start, but his second-innings spell lacked impact as England chased down 371 with ease. The rest of the pace attack struggled for control, and India's spin option—Ravindra Jadeja—managed just one wicket across both innings. With changes likely, there is growing speculation that wrist-spinner Kuldeep Yadav could be brought into the XI for the second Test. His inclusion would offer more variation, especially if India opt to rest Bumrah, who is reportedly being considered for rotation as part of workload management across the five-match presence at training may not signal a call-up, but it does highlight the team's interest in diversifying their spin resources. With conditions at Edgbaston often offering turn as the game progresses, the management's approach toward spin combinations could be a key factor as India look to keep their batters prepared to face the turn of the pitch, which can be key for their aim to bounce back in the series.- Ends
