TS Galaxy Queens maintain at-home winning streak
The Queens' dominance was evident from the first half. They scored their first goal through their striker, Nicole Michael, which set the tone for the rest of the match. AmaTuks' goalkeeper, Kay-dee Windvogel, made some crucial saves in the first half.

In the second half, AmaTuks pushed hard to create scoring opportunities after introducing three attacking wingers, but TS Galaxy's defence remained solid.

Additional shots at goal further pressured the AmaTuks side and eventually the Queens' midfielder, Nomvula Kgoale, scored a long-range goal to make the score 2-0.
Refiloe Jane's Olympico (a goal that is scored directly from a corner kick) secured the Queens 3-0 victory.
This was Jane's first goal since joining the Queens as a midfielder this season. 'I am happy that I scored my first goal of the season and for the team and I hope for more goals to come. It would not have been be possible if the team were not supporting me. We have been working very hard when it comes to this league and I am happy that we got three points. I am also excited to be on the pitch again after a long injury,' said Jane.
The Queens' coach, Sizwe Sibiya, said the effort the players put into training and games shows a dedication to win the league title.
'We are blessed to have such a group of players. They make sure to collect points, especially at home. We want to maintain this momentum and keep moving forward.'

AmaTuks' coach, Nombuso Khumalo, said their plan did not go well and her players did not apply her instructions on the pitch.
'We managed to find the forward passes in the second half, but we did not convert them into goals. We knew that we are playing an experienced side, but I felt like we respected our opponents as they had more energy and chances. I am very proud of the goalkeeper for those saves because our opponents could have punished us even more,' said Khumalo.

Continental Sports Academy hosts coaching course for technical directors in Vaal
EVATON.- Kenneth 'Conti' Kubheka hosted a coaching course for technical directors through his Continental Sports Academy at Wilberforce College on Tuesday. The course was attended by local and outside coaches to boost their coaching knowledge. Kubheka is one of the highly qualified coaches in South African football. He obtained some of his coaching qualifications in Holland, and this makes him a highly knowledgeable coach in this country. He also works part-time for SAFA as a coaching instructor, conducting coaching courses throughout the country. This former Bafana Bafana and U23 National Team coach is armed with coaching knowledge. Apart from national teams, some of the teams that he coached include Bush Bucks and Vaal Professionals. Unfortunately, both teams have since disappeared in South African football. Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Kubheka said a technical director is very important in football. He said this course is to prepare technical directors and those who desire to become technical directors. This course is part of the coaching courses and football administrators Kubheka offered in partnership with the historical Wilberforce College. This course is the first of its kind to take place in the Vaal. 'As Continental Sports Academy, we aim to empower and educate coaches, players, and football administrators. We provide a few courses that will be helpful for everyone who is involved in football. I'm happy that coaches and players find these courses helpful. Sports Minister Gayton McKenzie has raised concerns over the readiness of Video Assistant Referee (VAR) technology in South Africa ahead of the upcoming Premier Soccer League (PSL) season. This comes despite repeated assurances over the past year that VAR would be introduced in time. Addressing Parliament earlier this week, McKenzie stated that the government is 'still finalising the process of funding VAR' , a statement that contradicts his earlier comments where he claimed the necessary R90 million was already secured. 'We are finalising the process of funding VAR to ensure that football matches, from the Premier Soccer League through to international fixtures we host, are fairer and meet global standards,' said McKenzie. The minister has previously visited Spain to test the technology and assured the public that VAR implementation was imminent. However, his latest remarks have left supporters confused and sceptical. 'Let's give SAFA a chance to finalise,' he added. 'There will be VAR in our soccer in South Africa.' McKenzie initially championed the call for VAR following controversial refereeing decisions in a high-profile match between Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns. His vocal support led fans to believe the technology would be introduced this year. Despite this, the South African Football Association (SAFA) has yet to provide a formal rollout timeline or details on referee training and infrastructure readiness.
