ITV host Stephen, 48, has appeared for the past three years at the chain's centres at Minehead, Bognor Regis and Skegness.
But his lucrative deal for the weekend performances will not be renewed at the end of this year.
A source said: 'Stephen has been a massive hit with holidaymakers.
'He began his career as a Redcoat and has kept families brilliantly entertained.'
The end of the deal comes after Mulhern collapsed in a Pizza Express in Sunningdale, Berkshire, late last year.
He was also left devastated by the death of his father Christopher, who taught him magician tricks as a child.
In March, ITV announced that Dancing On Ice - which he hosted with close pal Holly Willoughby - would not return next year.
And his game show In For A Penny, which saw Stephen head to different places around the UK to challenge members of the public, was shelved by ITV after six series.
But he is due to start to start filming for his challenge show You Bet! on Tour next week — without Holly, after she quit the show in March.
Stephen, a close pal of Ant and Dec, started out in children's TV in 2001 when he was the presenter of the game show Finger Tips.

He presented his first show with Holly in 2004 when they worked together on Children's TV show Ministry Of Mayhem.
The magician launched Tricky TV on CITV in 2005, which he presented until 2010.
During this time, he was handpicked by bosses to front the ITV2 spin-off for Britain's Got Talent.
He presented Britain's Got More Talent until the cancellation of the spin-off in 2019.
A Butlin's spokesperson said: 'Stephen has been an incredible part of the Butlin's experience and continues to be a valued member of the family.
'Stephen's much-loved live show won't return in 2026 after three fantastic years, but we're thrilled to be working together on ongoing projects this autumn.'
A spokesman for Stephen said: 'Stephen has absolutely loved being part of the Butlin's family — performing his stage shows in front of thousands of holiday makers across the country and the relationship with Butlin's remains hugely positive.
'This change allows Stephen to explore new opportunities in the family holiday space – something he's incredibly passionate about.'

Liam and Noel Gallagher's kids put on united front ahead of Oasis reunion tour
It's not just Liam and Noel who have come together for a reunion for tonight's hotly anticipated reunion – as the whole second generation Gallagher family have been pictured together As the Oasis tour is just hours away from kicking off, it's not just Liam and Noel who have put their differences aside with their whole families coming together for the big reunion. After decades of waiting, Britpop fans are finally getting what many had dreamed of, but many thought would never happen, as the classic 90s band performs its first show in 16 years as they take to the stage in Cardiff later today. With so much attention on the big night, the Gallagher family now seems stronger than ever, with a new generation putting aside their dad's differences to put on a united front. The brothers have already made history with the sell-out tour and will kick off their trip around the world with a jam-packed performance at the Principality Stadium before heading back north for some homecoming gigs in Manchester's Heaton Park. Outside of the music, it's the family dynamic that has caught the attention of fans, with Liam's three kids Lennon, 25, Gene, 24, and Molly, 27 becoming very close to Noel's daughter Anais, 25. Ahead of the hotly anticipated comeback, the four cousins have come back in a classic Rockstar way with a photo shoot for fashion and music magazine W. Speaking to the magazine, Anais talked about what life was like growing up backstage during peak Oasis fever, she revealed: "I have memories of being super young at shows and falling asleep with ear defenders on. "The only thing I cared about was how many packets of Milky Way chocolate stars were in the dressing room." But now, two decades later, they'll be able to watch their famous dads perform together for the first time as adults. Something Anais and Lennon are taking very seriously is promising to go to every Oasis Live show. Lennon added: "I can't wait… It's a massive, monumental thing, it's going to be fantastic." Around 75,000 lucky fans will be making their way to Cardiff for the show tonight with the same again arriving for tomorrow's gig as rehearsals are well underway. A buzz has already begun to build across the city with some fans queuing up outside the stadium more than 24 hours before they're due to hit the stage in an effort to soak up the atmosphere and secure their spot when doors open. Fans who decided to brave the elements and camp outside the Cardiff stadium ahead of the tour have now been given VIP tickets to the show. ITV show Lorraine's correspondent Nick Dixon revealed on the daytime show that some ticket holders had been waiting outside the Principality Stadium since yesterday in the hopes of getting to the front of the stage - and Oasis ' Noel and Liam Gallagher had noticed. "Some of the more passionate fans with tickets have been queuing up at different sections of the stadium since yesterday because they want to get in there as soon as the doors open at 5pm and rush to the stage," he told the ITV show. "It turns out that the band and the band's management had noticed the fact that they were there because all of a sudden, on the other side of the stadium, security rounded up the fans and moved them."

This Morning fans switch off seconds into show as Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary's Oasis tribute seriously backfires
This Morning fans switched off their TVs seconds into the show when Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary 's Oasis tribute backfired. Friday's instalment of the ITV programme opened with the presenter duo dancing around to the iconic Oasis song, Wonderwall. Both wore black bucket hats and green coats, while Alison donned small, round sunglasses, mimicking Liam and Noel Gallagher. As the music played, they both threw off their coats and hats and lip-synced to the song. Dermot commented to Alison: 'You're the only person I've seen ever that looks good in a bucket hat.' She replied: 'You look really good actually.' 'Oasis fans, you can stop crying your hat out because Liam and Noel have officially decided to stop looking back in anger and are getting back together,' Dermot exclaimed. Alison added: 'After 16 years apart, today the band will finally roll with it on stage once again kicking off their first stop on their comeback tour in Cardiff which is happening tonight!' However, the pair's performance didn't impress some viewers who took to social media to share their thoughts on the Oasis tribute act. One said: '#thismorning F**k sake.' Another commented: 'Oh my f*****g god #thismorning.' 'Yeah not watching this s**t #ThisMorning,' someone else added. One viewer raged: '#thismorning are all programmes on ITV opening today with the presenters dressed as Oasis?' '@ITV why do you do this ? You pick a subject, today it's #Oasis and you rinse it across every single show on your channel. Do you not think they are making enough cash with you giving them free publicity! #ThisMorning,' another commented. However, the pair's performance didn't impress some viewers who took to social media to share their thoughts on the Oasis tribute act Though some did see the funny side and one penned, 'No way #thismorning,' followed by laughing emojis. It comes after Lorraine also opened with presenters, Ranvir Singh, Rishi Davda, Mark Heyes and Claer Barrett dressed in similar Oasis-style outfits. Ranvir commented: 'How else could we start the show today? It's a big day in music.' As the four hosts sat down, she added: 'We got a moment of what it might be like this evening as they come out to rapturous applause.' This Morning airs weekdays on ITV1 from 10am and is available to stream on ITVX.

Oasis 'send fans VIP tickets worth thousands' after being accused of 'tight' gesture
Oasis has reportedly treated their dedicated fans, who've been camping outside the Cardiff stadium in anticipation of their reunion, with a gift worth thousands of pounds. Lorraine's correspondent Nick Dixon revealed on the ITV programme that some eager ticket holders had been stationed outside the Principality Stadium since yesterday, hoping to secure prime spots near the stage - and Oasis' Noel and Liam Gallagher took notice. "Some of the more fervent fans with tickets have been lining up at various parts of the stadium since yesterday because they want to be first through the doors when they open at 5pm and dash to the stage," he informed the ITV audience. "It appears that the band and their management had noticed their presence because suddenly, on the other side of the stadium, security gathered the fans and relocated them." Nick confessed that his initial fear was that the fans had been ejected by security. "We were initially concerned, 'I hope they're not being evicted, they've got tickets,' but actually security informed me that the band spotted them and they've been moved to a different area - a VIP area. "They've received a significant upgrade on their tickets which is fantastic for them. They've departed here ecstatically happy." VIP tickets for Oasis' forthcoming tour can range from approximately £250 to £3,250 depending on the venue. The Mirror has contacted Oasis for a comment. News has surfaced mere days after the band allegedly declined to hand out complimentary tour tickets to their backstage team. An insider informed the Mail: "The crew will be travelling around the country with the band, setting up the venues, and will be on hand throughout the concerts in case they are needed. They'll be away from their family and are usually given tickets to invite them down to join them at one of the shows. "But the Gallagher brothers have banned any free tickets being given out. The crew are all fuming. Many of them have toured with other big-name artists and have never known anything like it. All Oasis seem to care about is making as much money as they can. Is this about fans, or is the truth that it's all about the money?". The iconic Gallagher siblings are set to reunite on stage today for the first time in 16 years, initiating their national tour in Cardiff tonight. In anticipation of their performance, some devotees caught wind of the duo practising their setlist, with a Reddit user disclosing they'll feature 24 tracks. The report outlined an expected setlist starting with an opening number of F****n' in the Bushes then Hello, Acquiesce, Morning Glory, and then Some Might Say. Cigarettes and Alcohol is believed to follow, with Fade Away, Supersonic, Roll With It, Bring It On Down next in line. Reportedly, Noel is set to perform Talk Tonight, Half the World Away, Little By Little.
