Solo Sikoa and Alexa Bliss won their respective thrilling Money in the Bank qualifying clashes on WWE SmackDown.
Two major triple-threat qualifying matches for the upcoming Money In The Bank and a huge women's title match headlined the May 16 episode of the WWE SmackDown from the NC First Horizon Coliseum in Greensboro. Solo Sikoa and Alexa Bliss pulled off wins in their respective thrill-a-minute MITB qualifying games after taking down Jimmy Uso and Rey Fenix in the men's qualifier and Chelsea Green and Michin in the women's leg. Alexa Bliss became the first woman qualifier for the forthcoming Money in the Bank by winning the high-stakes triple-threat clash against Chelsea Green and Michin. In a topsy-turvy encounter, Bliss and Michin initially teamed against Green, who managed to fight back. Green soon pulled Bliss out of the ring along with Michin by smashing the twisted Bliss on her. But Bliss bounced back and hit a decisive Sister Abigail DDT to beat Green and qualify for the ladder match.
Solo Sikoa Qualify, Beating Jimmy Uso And Rey Fenix
On the men's front, Solo Sikoa became the first MITB qualifier by surpassing Jimmy Uso and Rey Fenix in another major triple-threat encounter at SmackDown. The three wrestlers known for their different in-ring playing styles collided with a major opportunity at stake. The match went on expected lines, with fortunes shifting back and forth. Sikoa took down Uso with Samoan Spike but was then hammered by Fenix's Adios Amigo move. Following the MITB qualifier that Sikoa had won, LA Knight quickly rushed to attack Jeff Cobb, setting the ball rolling for an impromptu match between the two. But a costly error from Knight saw him take his eyes off the match to interfere with Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu, which allowed Cobb to take him down with his finisher and win his debut game.
Fraxiom Beat DIY, Tifanny Stratton Win Women's Title Match
In other results, Fraxiom managed to beat DIY in a tag-team match that entertained the fans with some classic wrestling moves. Fraxiom took a violent route against DIY despite it being only their second match on the main roster. The pair eventually won the fight with a timely roll-up that had DIY attacking them initially, but then in a surprising move, rivals Motor City Machine Guns – Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley – intervened and saved the winners.
Tiffany Stratton pulled off the main event match for the WWE Women's Championship, retaining her title by defeating Nia Jax. In a riveting battle, both wrestlers fought brilliantly before an unexpected twist. In the closing moments of the game, Naomi came out with a chair before she was stopped by her rival Jade Cargill, while Nia Jax nearly took control of the game with Tiffany. But Nia was then dropkicked with her face on the chair that Naomi brought, as Tiffany delivered a decisive Moonsault to win the championship.

Aleister Black and Carmelo Hayes played a rematch of last week's SmackDown, where the two wrestlers ran each other close. But the match had to end in disqualification after multiple interventions and an eventual attack on Aleister Black by Miz. Black then took down Miz with a Black Mass, but was soon left lying on the mat after Carmelo Hayes pulled off a top-rope move on him.
