Prison guard accused of having sex with two inmates
Isabelle Dale, 23, was employed at the high-security HMP Swaleside, on the Isle of Sheppey in Kent, west of London. It was during her work at the prison that she allegedly conducted affairs with Shahid Sharif, 33, and Connor Money, 28.
The relationships are believed to have taken place between September 2021 and December 2022, Daily Mail reported. Ms Dale allegedly first started up a sexual relationship with Money, before also allegedly conducting an affair with Sharif.
It is not clear why Sharif is currently in prison. Meanwhile, Money was jailed for nine years for killing his best friend in a 236km/h car crash, The Sun reported.
He fled police, who asked Money to pull over in his BMW 5 series before crashing into the back of a truck. His friend, Jordan Amos, 23, died in the passenger seat of the car.
Meanwhile, Money ran into nearby woods to avoid being arrested, The Telegraph reported.
The young man wept in court as he was jailed.
At the time, the lead officer on the case said it was the 'worst driving' he had encountered in 25 years of policing.
Ms Dale appeared at Westminster Magistrates Court on Monday, charged with two counts of misconduct in public office.
She is also charged with conspiring to bring drugs into the high security prison with Shariff and Lilea Sallis, 27.
Ms Sallis also appeared in court over the allegation of conspiring to bring in controlled drugs into the prison. Shariff has also been charged with having a phone while in prison. Money is not facing any charges over his alleged sexual relationship with Ms Dale.
Ms Dale was granted bail and is set to appear at Inner London Crown Court on May 23.
All parties involved were told they cannot communicate with each other as their separate trials continue.
None of the accused entered a plea during their initial appearances.
District Judge Adrian Turner said: 'These matters must go to the Crown Court.
'If the case goes to trial, you have got to attend trial.'

Tour de France invader smashed off bike in prank gone wrong
Police and security were forced to tackle a 'prankster' who invaded the track at the Tour de France, just moments before the stage's conclusion. The Sun reports the end of stage 17 almost ended in calamity when a spectator leapt over the boardings with his bike and tried to ride across the finish line. The unknown individual was dressed in full gear so as to look like a team rider, but was immediately spotted by onlookers. The man was wearing a Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale jersey. Images released of the incident show that the man managed to cross the finish line before he was tackled by a police offer and fell off his bike and to the ground. He was then quickly removed from the track in order to clear a pathway for the fast-approaching leaders who were due to follow soon after. It's not the first time that there have been issues on the track at this year's Tour either. Security had to leap in front of a pro-Palestine protester who had made their way onto the track during stage 11 of the race. The track-invader sprinted down the racecourse with his hands in the air just 25 metres from the finish line of the stage last Wednesday, with riders cycling past as it happened. The protester was wearing a t-shirt that read: 'Israel out of the Tour.' He also held a keffiyeh, a black-and-white checkered headdress and pro-Palestine symbol. The individual was tackled, thrust against the boardings and hauled off the road by security. Other fan incidents at this year's Tour de France have included an Ineos team car hitting into a spectator that stepped onto the road during the 14th stage of the race. Fortunately Thursday's incident didn't cause any crashes. However, pouring rain in the final 30km of the 60.4km stage from Bollene to Valence did cause a crash of its own. With just 1km left to go a mass crash took out Tim Merlier and Biniam Girmay, opening the door for Jonathan Milan to claim his second stage victory of this year's Tour. Speaking after the win, Milan said: 'This is a really fantastic team victory and I have to thank them from the bottom of my heart. 'I survived with the help of my teammates. Without this, I would not be here. They delivered me in the best position (for the finish).' Aussie wins mountain stage from Pogacar On Friday morning (AEST) Australia's Ben O'Connor won stage 18 of the Tour de France with a world class climb in the mountains. O'Connor, 29, took off alone 15km from the finish and navigated the mountain mist to win 1min 45sec ahead of Pogacar atop the Col de la Loze. Results in for childcare kids tested for sexually transmitted infections
All children tested for sexually transmitted infections in connection with an accused childcare pedophile have so far tested negative, the Victorian government said. About 2000 children required testing as part of a police investigation into alleged child abuser Joshua Dale Brown. Deputy Premier Ben Carroll told reporters on Wednesday that the latest advice came from health authorities. 'I think they've tested just about everyone — but I can get that clarified — and all the tests have been negative,' he said. 'This is something we hoped for and wished for.' Mr Brown, 26, is facing more than 70 charges, including sexual activity in presence of a child under 16, sexual assault of a child under 16 and possessing child abuse material. He has yet to enter pleas to the charges. The charges involve eight children, aged between five months and two years, between April 2022 and January 2023. As a precaution, testing was required for children who attended all of the centres where he worked. Mr Brown worked at 23 childcare centres in Melbourne between January 2017 and May 2025. It was revealed on Tuesday in court that more charges could be laid. High-profile barrister Rishi Nathwani appeared in court as prosecutors requested additional time to prepare a hand-up brief of their evidence against Mr Brown. Mr Brown did not appear in court for the brief hearing. Magistrate Donna Bakos approved the request for police to provide their case to Mr Brown's lawyers by December 4. The court was told police had provided a sworn affidavit in support of the delay, which was unopposed by Mr Nathwani. The barrister said the affidavit was 'helpful and detailed' in setting out the significant investigational steps police still need to undertake. Mr Nathwani also flagged the informant — the detective who laid the charges — had written that there was the potential for further charges and amendments to the existing charges. Mr Brown is expected to return to court in February.
