Mohit Suri's 'Saiyaara,' starring newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, is poised to become a major box office success. The romantic drama has garnered impressive advance bookings, potentially surpassing 'Raid 2' as the third-highest Hindi opener of 2025. Early morning shows have already generated significant revenue, indicating a strong start for the film led by debutants. Mohit Suri 's latest offering 'Saiyaara', which hits theatres today, is making waves with its phenomenal advance booking numbers and is now in strong contention to become the third biggest Hindi opener of 2025, surpassing Ajay Devgn 's Raid 2. Starring newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda , the romantic drama has already built a solid foundation even before its first show has played out, thanks to smashing music, and the ever-reliable Suri touch. Mohit Suri Spills On 20 Years In Bollywood - Ahaan & Aneet, Alia Bhatt Dream Collab & More As of last night, Saiyaara registered an impressive Rs 9.39 crore gross in advance bookings across India — a figure that balloons to Rs 12.49 crore when block seats are included which is more than Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya film Sky Force's opening day collection. Saiyaara has sold over 3.8 lakh tickets across 7,850 shows, these numbers place it in elite company and hint at a powerful opening day haul. To contextualize the impact: Raid 2, which currently holds the third-highest Day 1 spot for a Hindi film in 2025, earned Rs 19.25 crore. Saiyaara, on the strength of its pre-release momentum, is well-positioned to surpass that number by the end of today, provided the strong walk-in trend continues and word of mouth remains favorable. 2025's Top Hindi Openers (So Far): Chhava – Rs 31 crore Sikandar – Rs 26 crore Housefull 5 – Rs 24 crore Raid 2 – Rs 19.25 crore Sky Force – Rs 12.25 crore Sitaare Zameen Par – Rs 10.7 crore Jaat – Rs 9.5 crore Kesari Chapter 2 – Rs 7.75 crore Bhool Chuk Maaf – Rs 7 crore If the conversion from bookings to footfalls holds strong, Saiyaara could easily push past the Rs 20 crore mark, outpacing Raid 2 and potentially challenging Akshay Kumar's Housefull 5 for the third position. What makes this potential achievement more remarkable is that Saiyaara features fresh faces in lead roles. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Experience next-level CPAP comfort with Resmed AirSense 11 ResMed Buy Now Undo It has already become the highest grossing day 1 collection for a film lead by debutants displacing Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khattar's debut film Dhadak which had collected Rs 8.71 crore.
