Dr. Bazian, who is a co-founder of Students for Justice in Palestine, further said that 'Our fight for a free Palestine is a fight against racism, against Islamophobia, against antisemitism as it has been articulated, and not according to ADL, Netanyahu, Biden, and European racism' and that 'what we are seeing today is a dying colonialism.'
Two members of AMP's board, Osama Abuirshaid and Salah Sarsour, are connected to the Holy Land Foundation, which has been investigated for funneling funds to Hamas, and five of its members served prison sentences for their terror-linked activity.

Tehran presses Europe to revise nuclear stance amid rising tensions
Shafaq News – Tehran Iran has pressed European powers to revise their approach to nuclear negotiations, following a new round of deputy-level talks in Istanbul with the so-called E3—Britain, France, and Germany—amid heightened tensions over recent Israeli and American military strikes on Iranian territory. Speaking on Friday, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Majid Takht-Ravanchi said the meeting aimed to continue discussions on the future of the nuclear deal and address what he described as serious violations of international law by Israel and the United States. 'The recent aggression against Iran was a key point of contention,' he noted, adding that Tehran accused the West of failing to condemn the strikes, which it views as breaches of the UN Charter. The talks also touched on the controversial reactivation of sanctions mechanisms. According to Takht-Ravanchi, Iran firmly rejected any moves by the European trio to reimpose penalties, asserting that such steps lack legal foundation. He emphasized that Iran considers its uranium enrichment rights under the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) to be 'inalienable' and insisted that sanctions be lifted without delay. Takht-Ravanchi also disclosed that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi recently sent a formal letter to UN Secretary-General António Guterres, detailing Tehran's legal position regarding the nuclear file. The letter has been officially recorded with the United Nations, he said. In a separate statement ahead of the meeting, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei described the Istanbul talks as a chance for European governments to 'correct their course' and take a more pragmatic stance. He warned that Europe's prior conduct had eroded its credibility and weakened its role at the negotiating table.

Zelenskyy: Putin meeting in Istanbul POSSIBLE
Shafaq News – Kyiv On Friday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy revealed that a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin is being discussed as part of ongoing negotiations in Istanbul. 'We need to end the war, and that likely starts with a meeting between leaders,' Zelenskyy told reporters, calling the talks a step forward toward a potential summit. The Kremlin has indicated, however, that Putin would only attend such a meeting in the final stages of negotiations, citing "wide differences" and the need for "thorough preparation." Ukraine has proposed holding the summit by late August. As negotiations continue, Russia's Defense Ministry reported earlier that its air defenses had destroyed 105 Ukrainian drones, including 93 overnight across 10 regions, in one of the largest such incidents in recent weeks. Zelenskyy also said Ukraine is working to secure funding for 10 US-made Patriot air defense systems, with Germany and Norway already covering the cost of three. Another agreement will allow Ukraine to export drones to the US, reversing a previous informal restriction on arms exports. Today I spoke with the manufacturers of interceptor drones. I visited the facility, thanked the team, and saw firsthand how protection for our cities and villages, for our people, is being produced. In response, the government submitted legislation to restore the autonomy of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO), pending parliamentary approval. 'It's natural for people to protest when they disagree,' Zelenskyy said. 'We're listening—but right now, the war remains our top priority.' Today, my bill is already in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine – fulfilling my promise – for justice, for law enforcement and anti-corruption agencies. Full-fledged guarantees of the independence of anti-corruption agencies. Real opportunities to verify, so that any Russian… — Volodymyr Zelenskyy / Володимир Зеленський (@ZelenskyyUa) July 24, 2025

Iranian diplomat says had ‘frank' talks with European powers
Also in Iran Iran says to continue nuclear enrichment Amnesty slams Tehran for use of 'unlawful' strikes on Israel Iran says IAEA team to visit soon Iran says 75 escaped from notorious Tehran prison after Israeli attack A+ A- ERBIL, Kurdistan Region - An Iranian diplomat said that he had a 'serious and frank' discussion with representatives from France, Britain and Germany about the country's nuclear program in Istanbul on Friday. 'Together with [deputy foreign minister for political affairs Majid] Takht Ravanchi, we held a serious, frank, and detailed discussion' with European representatives, Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi said in a post on X. 'The latest developments regarding the issue of sanctions lifting and the nuclear issue were discussed and reviewed,' he added. These are the first nuclear talks between Tehran and Europe since Israel attacked Iran's nuclear facilities in their 12-day war. 'It was agreed that consultations on this matter will continue," said Gharibabadi. French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot has said that without a firm commitment from Tehran, the Europeans would be "justified" in seeking a 'snapback' of United Nations sanctions lifted under the 2015 nuclear deal between Iran and major world powers. Tehran has said there is no justification for activating the 'snapback' mechanism. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi on Thursday said that Iran will uphold its right to nuclear enrichment. International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) chief Rafael Grossi said on Friday he was "encouraged" that Iran had agreed to allow a delegation from the nuclear watchdog to visit the country "within weeks," AFP reported. Earlier in July, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian ratified a law suspending cooperation with the IAEA, effectively blocking inspectors from entering the country until Iran receives guarantees protecting its nuclear infrastructure. Pezeshkian claimed that Israeli intelligence may have obtained sensitive information from IAEA inspectors. Before the war with Israel, Iran had five rounds of Oman-mediated indirect nuclear talks with the US, which pulled out of the nuclear deal in 2018. Iran's leadership has repeatedly said that the country does not seek an atomic weapon.
