N.O.R.E. Remembers Pusha T Yelling At Him Over Pharrell Interview Amid Drake Beef

Pusha T and his brother Malice have been promoting their long-awaited Clipse album, Let God Sort Em Out , which has led to the former discussing his personal beef with Drake and the ramifications of his battle with Kendrick Lamar.
N.O.R.E., one of the prominent figures in Hip-Hop, who hosts the Drink Champs podcast, recently sat down with Bootleg Kev to discuss how the beef he once observed created a rift between Push and Pharrell.
After the 'Story of Adidon' drama, Pharrell was a guest on Drink Champs when N.O.R.E. pestered him about his musical tastes, asking him, 'Pusha T or Drake?'
The peacemaker that he is, Pharrell answered, 'both.'
More than remaining neutral, P admits he was in contact with Drake during the beef.
'We've talked several times. I love Drake. Even in the middle of all that stuff … he said super nice and kind things to me on the DM and in public,' he said. 'Neither one of them are into problems. They don't like it, like, it's unnecessary. But they're both people who, when they feel like they're being pushed to a limit, they gotta do what they gotta do.'
That set Pusha T off, and he called N.O.R.E. to air out his grievances.
'It's the first time I ever heard Pusha T raise his voice,' N.O.R.E. remembers.
He says an irate Pusha said, 'How the f-ck is our boy doing that!? Drake wouldn't have picked both of us. Drake would've picked him!'
'And I'm like, 'Pusha, this is one time I'm shutting the f-ck up. I'm gonna let you vent…' he recalled telling him.
Despite the lashing he received from Pusha, N.O.R.E. said he appreciated the moment with Pharrell because it shows how human he is and that he is not down with street beef. He said he even remembers his first time meeting him and P telling him not to commit any crimes around him because he has no problem snitching.
See the social media reaction to a rare moment from Pusha below.

Travis Scott's ‘JackBoys 2' Tops Chart, Ends Justin Bieber's Six-Album Streak of No. 1 Debuts

Travis Scott came out on top in a stacked week of new releases Sunday, as his latest album JackBoys 2 debuted atop Billboard's 200 Albums chart, beating out Justin Bieber's surprise release Swag, as well as Let God Sort 'Em Out, Clipse's first album in over 15 years. JackBoys 2, considered a compilation album with his Cactus Jack label, marks Scott's sixth album to top the Billboard chart (that's four solo records as well as the original JackBoys compilation album). It opens with 232,000 units and was buoyed by strong traditional sales, selling 160,000 copies, Billboard reported. (Luminate reported last week that I'm the Problem is the biggest album in the U.S. through the first half of 2025.) The chart news marks the first time Bieber hasn't opened at No. 1 in his 15-year career, ending a six-album streak of No. 1 debuts that began with his first record, My World 2.0, back in 2010. Despite that streak ending, Swag had a more than respectable opening, debuting with 163,000 overall units on 198.77 million streams, per Billboard. Notably, Swag's debut was carried almost entirely by streams, with physical sales set to be included on a later chart after his physical units are shipped out. Swag appears to have netted Bieber another hit with 'Daisies,' which topped both Apple Music and Spotify's daily U.S. charts this past week. It's a potential contender for a No. 1 debut on the Hot 100 chart, in close competition with Alex Warren's 'Ordinary,' which has spent the past six weeks atop the chart. The New Hot 100 chart will release Monday. Other than Bieber, Clipse earned 118,000 equivalent units with Let God Sort 'Em Out, debuting at No. 4 on this week's chart. The Clipse Have Surprising Reaction To Justin Bieber Seemingly Shading Their New Album

Justin Bieber shook up the internet when he posted an Instagram story dissing Clipse after both acts released their new albums on the same day. The Virginia duo recently reacted to the supposed shade. 'I don't know if you clicking something, don't know if you reading it or not,' Malice said during their appearance on Big Boy's Neighborhood. 'I mean, people can be very specific if they want to be, but what does it mean to me? Nothing. We doing what we doing out here. The fans love it, you bringing the music back. Real hip-hop.' The 52-year-old resolved that he would give Bieber the 'benefit of the doubt.' Pusha T added that the Canadian singer likely didn't fully look at the post and was more focused on it being 'favorable' toward his album. 'We've all done it,' he said. Ultimately, the Let God Sort Em Out rappers were more focused on people's approval of their latest LP in comparison to a blockbuster release from the pop superstar. 'This is street hip-hop,' he stated. 'Look how far streethip-hop has [come]. Like look at what it's being measured up against.' Watch below. The 31-year-old surprised the world when he announced his new album SWAG would come out two weeks ago (Friday, July 11). Many people theorized that Def Jam was looking to overshadow their former artists' highly anticipated reunion album, and the assumed tension grew in fans' eyes when the 'Daisies' singer shared a particular Instagram story. Kerwin Frost tagged him in a post praising his new effort, writing, 'Justice is served @lilbieber emptied the clip. THIS IS THE ONLY ALBUM THAT MATTERS RIGHT NOW. This album is way better then the @clipse. @clipse is for bitter grown men who collect kaws dolls and shop at kith and union.' Biebs reposted the story, and many people did not recognize that it was a repost, causing more discourse on the internet. Nonetheless, Clipse are riding a wave of positivity as Let God Sort Em Out debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 and sold 118,000 album-equivalent units in its first week. Bieber's SWAG debuted at No. 2 and sold 163,000 units. Listen to both albums below. More from What Are Clipse's First-Week Sales Projections For Their New LP 'Let God Sort Em Out'? Justin Bieber's ‘SWAG' Secures No. 1 Spot On Billboard R&B Albums Chart

Justin Bieber's new album, SWAG, is proof that R&Bieber is back— at least for the moment. The surprise LP has debuted No. 1 on Billboard's Top R&B Albums chart, and according to Billboard, the feat marks his second chart topper in that category since 2020's Changes, which dominated for three weeks. SWAG also garnered Bieber his highest streaming week ever for an album after earning 163,000 equivalent album units in its first week, with streaming accounting for 155,000 of those units. The album also debuted at No. 2 on both the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and the Billboard 200 charts. As far as the records go, 'YUKON' debuted No. 1 on the Hot R&B Songs chart, marking Bieber's sixth single to do so. Overall, SWAG had eight tracks land on the Hot R&B Songs chart, including 'GO BABY,' 'WAY IT IS' featuring Gunna, 'DEVOTION' featuring Dijon, 'SWEET SPOT' with Sexyy Red, and the titular track featuring Cash Cobain and Eddie Benjamin. SWAG concluded a lengthy hiatus in which Bieber was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, parted ways with his longtime manager Scooter Braun, got married, welcomed his first child, and sold his publishing catalog in a monumental $200 million deal. He reportedly sold his catalog because he was on the verge of 'financial collapse,' according to a documentary, TMZ Investigates: What Happened to Justin Bieber?. Back in April, after sources claimed he was in debt from cancelling a tour, his rep stated that it was 'clickbait stupidity.' Meanwhile, someone else told PEOPLE that Bieber was 'facing a lot of different demons right now. He is making some really poor decisions lately, further impacting friendships, money, and business. People are worried about him.' Bieber addressed such claims on the album. Listen above.
