Having finished second on each of his previous three starts, bumping into big improvers and trouble in running, MOON OVER THE SEA has every chance of going one better here.
Despite his consistency, his mark is only 1lb higher than the first race in that sequence – all of which were over 1m 4f – and 5lb higher than his most recent victory, which came at this venue during the competitive festive period in December.
The majority of today's seven-runner field have been regularly campaigned over the winter, meaning it's unlikely that there is massive improvement to be found in any of them. Given a fair run, expect to see this gelding in with a live chance at the finish.

The Reds have since signed Ekitike, understood to be for an initial £69million with a further £10m in potential add-ons.
