Institute of Banking Personnel Selection
(IBPS) has officially opened a two-day edit window from July 31 to August 1, 2025, allowing applicants to modify or correct specific details in their application forms.
This one-time opportunity is only available to those who submitted their forms along with the payment within the stipulated registration period.
As IBPS gears up for the selection of Probationary Officers and Specialist Officers for 2026-27 vacancies, this correction phase is crucial for aspirants looking to ensure accuracy in their submissions. Here's a detailed look at what you can and cannot change during this window.
Who can use the edit window?
Only those candidates who completed their online application and successfully paid the registration fee are eligible to make corrections during this period. If your application was incomplete or the payment failed, you are not eligible to access the edit facility.

IBPS PO/SO edit window dates and duration
This two-day window is the only opportunity to make changes. Once the window closes, no further corrections will be permitted under any circumstances.

Editable fields
Candidates will be able to revise most sections of their application, including academic qualifications, personal details, communication address, and job preferences. One of the most significant updates allowed is related to category changes, as per the following combinations:

Certain fields are locked permanently and cannot be modified during the correction window:

Applicants are advised to verify these details thoroughly at the time of initial registration, as they will remain unchanged throughout the recruitment cycle.
Correction fee details
A flat fee of ₹200 (including GST) is applicable for each application form correction.
This fee is non-refundable and uniform across all categories.
No fee is required for updates made through DigiLocker integration.
Candidates will be allowed to correct and re-submit the form only once. Once submitted, the modified application becomes final. Any mistake in the revised application cannot be corrected again, so double-check every field before hitting submit.
IBPS has made it clear that no requests for corrections will be entertained after August 1, 2025. All other terms and conditions of the recruitment notice dated July 1, 2025, remain unchanged.
