
Horror twist after stabbing of Luke Manassa in Pemulwuy, Sydney
Luke Manassa, 21, and his girlfriend arrived home to Driftway Drive in Pemulwuy, greater western Sydney, on June 26 before he was allegedly attacked.
Two unknown men, dressed in dark clothing and disguises, allegedly stabbed the 21-year-old entrepreneur, NSW Police said.
It is alleged Mr Manassa then got back into his car and drove a short distance before being overcome by his injuries.
Homicide Squad detectives have charged two teenagers over the fatal stabbing of a man in Pemulwuy last week.
Emergency services were called to the home at about 10.45pm that evening regarding reports that a man had been stabbed.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated Mr Manassa but he could not be revived and died at the scene.
Strike Force Hickety was established and, on Thursday at about 6am, detectives carries out searches in South Penrith, Mt Druitt, and Woodcroft.
In South Penrith, police arrested a 17-year-old boy who was taken to Penrith Police Station.
He has been charged with murder and failure to comply with digital evidence access order direction.
Officers also arrested a 16-year-old boy in Mt Druitt, who was taken to Mt Druitt Police Station and charged with murder.
Both were refused bail and are due to appear in children's court on Friday.
During the search warrant in Woodcroft, police seized what they will allege was used as the getaway car from a separate residence.
The investigation continues.
Mr Manassa's family own a demolition company and the aspiring businessman had studied property economics at UTS.
He described himself as a young businessman on a podcast last year and discussed his entrepreneurial endeavors and 'side hustles' like selling designer sneakers.
'I knew what I wanted to do for a long time. I wasn't concerned with much else,' he said.

Horror as a teen is stabbed with machetes after a house party erupted into a wild brawl in Sydney's east
A teenage boy was rushed to hospital after he was stabbed with machetes when a house party spiralled out of control in a quiet suburban street in Sydney 's east. Emergency services were called to Carnegie Court in Chifley shortly before 8.30pm on Saturday following a reports of a brawl at a house party. Police were told that five males attended the gathering uninvited armed with machetes. Paramedics treated a boy, 16 at the scene for lacerations to his back and legs. He was taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a stable condition. The five gatecrashers fled the scene prior to officers arriving at the scene, a NSW Police spokesman told Daily Mail Australia. Footage of the scene showed the street swarming with dozens of police as they established a crime scene. Detectives were seen searching under cars and in neighbouring front gardens for a possible weapon in the cordoned off street. Police were also seen speaking with concerned neighbours as young party guests headed home after their night was cut short. No arrests or charges have been laid. Police footage has shown the moment a drug dealer who tortured and murdered a love rival was taken off a plane at Manchester Airport as he arrived back in the UK from South America and arrested. John Belfield, 31, was one of a four-strong gang who killed Thomas Campbell in Tameside in July 2022 and he went on the run to Brazil after the Campbell, 38, had been in a relationship with Belfield's former partner, Demi was given a life sentence at Manchester Crown Court on Friday, and ordered to spend a minimum of 34 years and 261 days in prison. Belfield showed "complete disregard for the victim and a true lack of remorse, which is testament to his character," Det Sgt Davies the murder inquiry, detectives analysed hundreds of hours of CCTV and nearly 3,000 exhibits, spoke to more than 200 witnesses and arrested 19 people, the force said. Belfield's associates, Reece Steven, 29, of Middleton, Steven Cleworth, 38, of Heywood, and Mr Campbell's ex-wife Coleen Campbell, 38, of Manchester, were also jailed over Mr Campbell's death. Mr Campbell's father, Terry Campbell said in his victim impact statement there were "no words" to describe his family's loss."We all live with a broken heart," he added. Man, 41, arrested after teenagers threatened with knife in Frome
A man has been arrested after two teenagers were threatened with a knife, one of whom was cut on the and Somerset Police received a report at around 05:00 BST on Saturday that a man had approached the teenagers in Culverhill, Frome, and was acting no initial injury was reported, one of the teenagers was later taken to hospital for the shoulder cut.A 41-year-old man has been arrested and remains in police custody. The teenager's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or and Somerset Police said officers conducted enquiries in the area following the incident.
