Conservative influencer Blaire White is ditching Texas to head back to her home state of California after fleeing the Golden State in 2021.
White, 31, announced this week that she'll be returning to Los Angeles after living in Austin in hopes of being part of 'the solution' to help fix the ongoing issues instead of watching her home state 'burn' from a distance.

'I was born there, so it is home for better or for worse,' the transgender social media star told her 1.5 million subscribers on YouTube.
'There are a lot of problems with California and a lot of people like to write off New York and California and say, 'Just let them go overboard, let them burn,' and I find that to be a very un-American perspective to hold.'
The YouTube star believes California is 'the most beautiful place in the world,' and shared it's a 'shame' that 'it's run by demons.'
'I want to be someone who's part of the solution. I want to be someone who doesn't run from problems,' White said.
'I moved to Texas in the middle of Covid. So I moved to Texas in crisis. The lockdowns weren't ending, so much trauma from that, so much craziness, so it was kind of like an evacuation.'

White also said that Los Angeles has now become 'ghetto and downtrodden,' but when she returns, she may seek political office in the future to help change the direction the city and state are heading in.
She was one of the many influencers and online personalities — including Joe Rogan — who fled California for Texas during the COVID-19 pandemic, amid the state's strict lockdown policies.
White was born in Corning, about 100 miles north of Sacramento, and has quickly gained popularity through her YouTube channel over the years for her outspoken political commentary and views on transgender rights and feminism.

'I am a transgender woman who lives my life and goes out every day as myself,' White told Newsweek in a 2017 interview.
'I have never been assaulted for being trans. I've never had anyone on the street say anything nasty to me about being trans. But I was assaulted for wearing a Trump hat. I think that speaks for itself.'
The YouTuber transitioned in 2015 while studying computer science at California State University, Chico.
Before starting on YouTube, she was a self-described 'social justice warrior' with left-leaning views, but said her views began shifting to the right during her college years.

Worcester city councilor pleads not guilty to assaulting police during chaotic ICE interaction

'As both a mother and an elected official, I will always stand up for my constituents, particularly women and children,' Haxhiaj told reporters outside court, per footage that MassLive Advertisement Supporters erupted in cheers as the councilor spoke, but police framed her actions differently in an incident report filed with the court. The report said Worcester police on May 8 responded to the area of 36 Eureka St. for a report of a large group 'surrounding federal officers.' Responding city officers learned federal agents had made an arrest and that members of the large group were yelling at them and 'interfering' with their efforts to safely leave the area with the person they'd placed into custody, the report said. The incident report didn't identify the federal agencies involved in the arrest, but Haxhiaj, the report said, was allegedly seen 'pulling the restraints of the arrested as they were being escorted to the transport vehicle.' Advertisement She also allegedly 'continued to obstruct the federal officers as they attempted to leave the area,' the report said. Worcester Police Officer Shauna McGuirk approached Haxhiaj as the councilor held onto the side mirror of the transport vehicle, telling her 'several times' to move away, according to the report. It said Haxhiaj 'ignored several verbal requests' and allegedly pushed the officer away by 'striking P.O. McGuirk in the chest.' A few minutes later as McGuirk was arresting someone else, the report continued, Haxhiaj 'approached P.O. McGuirk from the side and pulled at P.O. McGuirk's arm.' That alleged act of civil disobedience 'interfered with the arrest and caused officers to divert their attention to Haxhiaj and away from the arrest,' the filing said. The Globe Outside court Wednesday, supporters of Haxhiaj cheered when she said she'd entered a plea of not guilty, according to the YouTube footage. 'I am resolute and unapologetic in maintaining my innocence,' Haxhiaj said. 'The overwhelming number of Worcester residents and Americans across the country are opposed to armed, masked men snatching our people off our streets and neighborhoods, terrifying mothers, children, fathers, families, and whole communities.' She said that while it's 'disappointing and disheartening to invest time, effort, and resources fighting these charges, it is absolutely nothing compared to Worcester families living in fear of being torn apart.' Haxhiaj also said she would 'always, now and forever, stand up and stand by our immigrant brothers and sisters, our neighbors, who are facing a horrific regime.' Joe Rogan gushes Hunter Biden ‘smarter than his dad' after ‘crack cocaine' interview: ‘He could be president'

Joe Rogan was no fan of former President Joe Biden, but the podcaster raved about his scandal-tarred son Hunter Biden — gushing that a bizarre interview in which he held forth about his illegal drug use showed he was 'smarter than his dad.' 'And he could be president. How about that?' Rogan said on Wednesday's episode of his 'Joe Rogan Experience' podcast after playing a clip from Biden's interview with 'Channel 5' host Andrew Callaghan. 'He could. No bulls–t. Hunter Biden, after all he'd been through, look, his dirty laundry's all out there. We all see it. He was a freak. He's smarter than his dad when his dad was young. And he was a crackhead.' Advertisement 3 Joe Rogan was no fan of former President Joe Biden, but the popular podcaster couldn't help but rave about his scandal-tarred son Hunter Biden. The Joe Rogan Experience The podcast host reacted to Biden's candid remarks about his past drug use, calling the interview 'the greatest crack advertisement of all time.' Internet users on social media were abuzz this week about Callaghan's interview with Biden during which the former president's son offered unfiltered, raw commentary about his past drug use. Advertisement 'The only difference between crack cocaine and cocaine is sodium bicarbonate, water, and heat. Literally, that's it,' Biden said. 'People think of crack as being dirty—it's the exact opposite.' He also stunned viewers by claiming alcohol—not crack—was the most destructive substance he ever used. 'Alcohol is the most destructive drug… It puts you in more danger than any other drug that I've ever experienced,' he said, revealing that at one point, he was consuming nearly an entire handle of vodka a day. 3 Rogan said that Hunter Biden 'could be president' after an interview that streamed online. YouTube / Channel 5 with Andrew Callaghan The vivid detail with which Biden spoke about drug use had viewers including Rogan opining about whether it was an advertisement for narcotics. Advertisement 'If crack wasn't terrible for you, this guy makes me want to try crack. I'm not going to. Don't do it. I'm not giving any advice, but I'm saying this guy, like legitimately this might be the best advertisement for crack of all-time,' Rogan said. 'He's a lot smarter than people give him credit for.' Every morning, the NY POSTcast offers a deep dive into the headlines with the Post's signature mix of politics, business, pop culture, true crime and everything in between. Subscribe here! Rogan credited Biden for delving into the mechanics of drug addiction, saying: 'He's talking, and one of the things he was talking about was why smoking things are so addictive, why smoking cigarettes are so addictive, and the psychology behind it.' Advertisement 'He's not dumb.' Biden was not immediately available for comment. During Biden's wide-ranging interview with Callaghan, the ex-president's son unloaded on top Democratic Party strategists and political allies for their criticism of his father. In the segment Rogan highlighted, Biden described the psychology behind smoking crack cocaine and explained why it becomes so addictive. Rogan also praised the interviewer, saying Callaghan 'nailed' the interview. Biden, a longtime target of conservative media and Trump supporters, has faced scrutiny over his business dealings, history of drug use and a criminal case stemming from a firearm purchase. The Post's 2020 exposé on Biden's abandoned laptop revealed emails and files suggesting he pursued overseas business deals by invoking his father's name, including potential links to Chinese and Ukrainian interests. AFP via Getty Images The laptop also contained evidence of drug use and became central to federal investigations into tax fraud and a gun-related offense, as well as a flashpoint in debates over media censorship after social media platforms limited the story's distribution. While portions of the data have since been authenticated, allegations directly implicating Joe Biden remain unproven. Last year, then-President Biden announced he had pardoned his son following a conviction on federal gun charges. Hunter Biden also pleaded guilty to nine tax-related charges. Advertisement Though he has not expressed any interest in running for office, Biden's interview sparked praise from some figures on the right as well. Fox News host Jesse Watters on Monday called him a 'left-wing Trump' following the interview's release. Watters pointed to Hunter Biden's remarks about President Trump's immigration policies, in which the younger Biden said the US could 'invade' El Salvador to retrieve individuals deported by the Trump administration earlier this year. Advertisement 'And make no mistake: everything he's saying is exactly what Joe Biden is thinking,' Watters said. 'This is 'Dark Brandon Jr.' This is the guy the memo was about. This is a guy who doesn't give an F. He's macho. He's bold. To say that they're going to invade El Salvador to bring back the bad hombres. That's like left wing Trump, and this is what they've been looking for,' Watters added.

Poland Strikes It Rich With Largest Ever Oil Discovery

Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. The discovery in Poland of one of Europe's most significant conventional oil finds in a decade has been welcomed as a step toward energy security in the NATO country. Central European Petroleum (CEP), a Calgary-based company with Norwegian backing, announced the find at the Wolin East 1 (WE1) well, four miles from the Baltic Sea port city Świnoujście in the northeast of the country. However, energy expert Thomas O'Donnell told Newsweek Thursday that the discovery was "not a game changer." Nevertheless, one think tank in Germany has warned that the discovery could come with substantial costs to tourism and environmental protection. When contacted by Newsweek, the Polish foreign ministry referred to foreign minister Radosław Sikorski's X post that said: "God probably really loves the (coalition) government." Crude oil tanks are seen near a cemetery a few dozen kilometers from Gdansk in Poland on June 6, 2022. Crude oil tanks are seen near a cemetery a few dozen kilometers from Gdansk in Poland on June 6, It Matters In a statement to Newsweek, CEP said that once the Wolin East deposit is officially confirmed it will be Poland's largest oil and associated natural gas field. With the potential to more than double Poland's current estimated oil reserves, it will boost the energy security of a NATO member on the alliance's eastern flank and diversify its fuel sources. What To Know CEP, which holds a 100 percent stake in the Wolin lease area, said it had made a significant oil discovery in the Wolin East 1 (WE1) well, about four miles offshore from the city of Świnoujście on the Baltic Sea. Preliminary estimates suggest the site contains 22 million tons of recoverable crude oil and condensate, along with 5 billion cubic meters of commercial-grade natural gas. These make it the most significant conventional oil discovery in Poland's history and one of the most significant in Europe in recent years. Berlin-based energy expert Thomas O'Donnell told Newsweek the site may produce up to 35,000 barrels a day which is "a fairly good sized well in Texas, but that's not a game changer" amid estimates that this would provide five percent of Poland's needs. However, there could be further oil to discover and the find showed Poland's commitment to find indigenous sources of oil and gas. Poland is a net importer of oil and so the more it can produce itself, the more it will help with the country's balance of payments. This has knock-on benefits in terms of the price of goods and curbing inflation, O'Donnell said. Increased oil production offshore will also focus minds on how to protect energy assets in the Baltic Sea from sabotage, following a number of attacks blamed on Moscow recently, he added. However, the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW) has warned that exploiting the discovery in Poland's section of the Baltic Sea could come with substantial costs to tourism and environmental protection. DIW researcher Claudia Kemfert said in a statement that any accidents would come with high cross-border clean-up costs and fossil energy extraction "runs counter to climate protection targets" and so "extraction therefore cannot be recommended." What People Are Saying Rolf G. Skaar, CEO of CEP said in a statement: "We view this discovery as a foundation for long-term, responsible development of Poland's offshore resources. Wolin East is more than just a promising field – it represents a shared opportunity to unlock the full geological and energy potential of the Baltic Sea." Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski said on X, formerly Twitter: "Sławosz flies to space, Iga wins Wimbledon, the EU predicts a ton of money for (Poland) and now this too. God probably really loves the KO-PSL-PL2050-Lewica (coalition) government." As well as referring to the oil discovery, the post also mentions Polish astronaut Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski and tennis player Iga Swiatek. Energy analyst Thomas O'Donnell told Newsweek: "This is not a game changer, but as far as politics is concerned this shows Poland's commitment to find oil and gas wherever it can." DIW researcher Claudia Kemfert said in a statement that the environmental costs "outweigh the benefits. Extraction therefore cannot be recommended." What Happens Next Further geological documentation must be prepared, submitted, and approved before extraction can start. Piotr Woźniak, former CEO of Polish oil and gas company Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo (PGNiG), told Euronews CEP will want to raise funds quickly and document the deposit so that it has full rights to it and the legal ability to exploit it. However, there is also a potential environmental challenge from a German organization, Lebensraum Vorpommern, over concerns about the potential impact of gas extraction.
