Boots £112 Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium perfume reduced to £33

Shoppers have said the luxury perfume gives an 'effortlessly graceful' impression to others who smell it
Boots shoppers can take advantage of a huge saving on an expensive perfume usually worth more than £100. For a limited time only, shoppers can get a major 70% saving on a "classy" perfume that users say is suited for both going to the office or on a night out.
The Black Opium Illicit Green Eau de Parfum is available with a massive discount. Normally, this expensive 75ml bottle would cost £112 at Boots, but there is an offer on to get it for just £33.60 - a huge saving of £78.40.
Illicit Green offers a twist on the classic YSL fragrance Black Opium. Its addition of "juicy green mandarin and creamy fig accord" creates a " vibrant mocktail-inspired fragrance that invigorates all the senses."
Boots has lots of deals on at the moment for people wanting to purchase a fragrance. Most deals apply to major brands and bigger bottles that should last a while, like Versace Woman Eau de Parfum (was £66, now £24) and Vera Wang Princess Eau de Toilette (was £66, now £26).
There are some men's options too, which might make ideal last-minute Father's Day presents for June 15. Big discounts include a 200ml bottle of BOSS Bottled Night Eau de Toilette (was £114, now £58.50) and the same-sized bottle of Rabanne Invictus Eau De Toilette (worth £129, now £64.50).
Other shops have similar offers on at the moment too. Superdrug is offering Ghost Deep Night Eau de Toilette (75ml for £28, reduced from £55) or The Perfume Shop has La Vie Est Belle (100ml for £67.99, down from £127).
But, women have been praising the glitter-encrusted bottle of YSL's designer fragrance that has been described as a "beautiful, classy fragrance" that "lasts ages" and "leaves an impression". Dozens shared their opinions online about the "luxurious fragrance".
One said: "Versatile and well-suited for a variety of settings, this scent is never offensive or overpowering — just effortlessly graceful." Another added: "Reasonable price and love the perfume. I wear it for work and going out."
A third wrote: "I have two other fragrances in the black opium collection, but Illicit Green is my favourite. When I'm out, people always ask what perfume I am wearing."
A few people had issues with the perfume, as one claimed: "Doesn't live up to YSL name. It doesn't stay long at all. Not value for money." Another added: "Really disappointed with the lasting of the fragrance. It just does not last on my skin and even I cannot smell it."
However, more experiences were positive as someone else put in their review: "The smell is very long-lasting and gets better as it wears. The first spray is not a true indicator of how it will smell once it settles. I absolutely love that it can be worn day or night, depending on how much you spray on yourself.
A fifth shared: "Lovely scent and lasts long, worth stocking up when discounted." And, one more added: "Absolutely brilliant, a great choice that smells divine and is a long-lasting fragrance."

If you're looking to get the designer look for less, you're in luck as River Island's latest trending raffia handbag looks like YSL's celebrity loved style for a fraction of the price Raffia bags are always trending in the summertime, and it's thanks to certain designer styles that really put the trend on the map. We're talking Loewe's iconic basket bag, priced at £450; Chloe's Large Woody Basket Bag, priced at £590; and Saint Laurent's celebrity-loved Icare in Raffia tote bag, priced at a huge £4,120. And if you've been looking to get the designer look without the designer price tag, you're in luck as River Island has just launched a chic raffia tote bag that looks just like YSL's one for more than £4k less. The bag we're talking about is the Beige RR Raffia Shopper Bag, priced at a more wallet-friendly £44. This stylish tote bag has been labelled as 'trending' on the River Island website and we can see why. It's oversized style makes it perfect for beach days, hand luggage, office trips and everything in between, comfortably fitting all your essentials and more. Alongside it's large size, this handy tote features sturdy double straps, 'RR' gold branding, interior pockets to keep all your essentials together and a popper fastening. Plus of course, a beach-ready raffia finish on the outside. This is the kind of handbag that you can just chuck on with any outfit thanks to its neutral beige colour. To style it, we suggest keeping it simple with a pair of neutral linen trousers and a white tee, or a classic black sundress and some matching raffia sandals. River Island is not the only brand that's providing the luxury look for less, the Stone Canvas and Faux Leather Tote Bag from New Look is priced at £27.99, and gives Miu Miu vibes for a fraction of the cost. While the Weave Cross-Body Bag from Next, available in a gorgeous rich burgundy shade, features luxe-looking woven faux leather and chic boxy shape, giving serious Bottega vibes for £26.

I put three lip glaze that promise shine to the test - one will become your go-to

Read on to also find out about a fun skincare collab GLIDE ON I put three lip glaze that promise shine and hydration to the test – one will become your go-to LIP glaze is your latest handbag must-have, replacing balms, glosses and oils, promising shine, hydration and pigment with no sticky residue. This week I put three of them to the test. 4 Lip glaze are replacing balms, glosses and oils Budget Maybelline New York Lifter Glaze Lip Oil Balm, £7.99 for 19g, Boots 4 The Maybelline New York Lifter Glaze Lip Oil Balm feels hydrating and smells great Credit: supplied I was surprised by how pigmented this was. With just one swipe I got a far deeper colour than I expected, which is great for a product at such an affordable price. It has a nice, sweet smell and feels hydrating on the lips. My only gripe is that the stick is quite hard but I found it went on more easily if I swiped it on the back of my hand first to warm it up. Then I applied it to my lips for a more sheer finish that gave a gloss-like shine, but it works great as a tinted lip balm straight from the bullet. Mid-range Glossier Lip Glaze Hydrating Sheer Lip Oil, £22, 8ml, 4 This Glossier Lip Glaze Hydrating Sheer Lip Oil is sheer but has a soft and creamy formula Credit: supplied Glossier makes some of my favourite lip products, so I had high expectations for this. The formula feels soft and creamy, giving the slip of a gloss but with a buttery softness you might get from a balm – yet it's thinner than most oils or glosses, so it doesn't feel heavy. I have chronically chapped lips and immediately felt the hydration from the apricot seed oil and shea butter. We tried six lipsticks we'd never normally go for - here's what worked & what didn't The pigment is extremely sheer, so it can pass as 'your lips, but better shades' and you won't need a mirror to reapply it. If you want more colour pay-off, you'll need to layer it over a lip liner. Luxury Yves Saint Laurent LoveShine Candy Glaze, £38, 3g, 4 The Yves Saint Laurent LoveShine Candy Glaze doesn't go patchy and will quickly become your go-to Credit: supplied These promise the colour of a lipstick with the slick of an oil and, given that Maybelline and YSL are owned by L'Oreal, I thought the formulas would be pretty similar. In fact, this balm was far softer and easier to apply. It glides over lips like an oil but with a thicker, gel-cream consistency that stays put on lips longer, keeping them hydrated. The pigment is also closer to a tint than a lipstick, which I prefer for daily wear as it doesn't go patchy over time. This has quickly become my go-to.
