Lleyton Hewitt's warning to daughter Mia's boyfriend amid young couple's rock'n'roll lifestyle as 'Beckham-style feud is brewing behind the scenes'

Lleyton Hewitt reportedly has concerns about the fast and loose lifestyle his eldest daughter Mia leads with her rock'n'roll boyfriend, Vanda Erich. The 19-year-old musician and her Liquid Zoo frontman partner were first romantically linked in May last year when they were seen going for lunch in Surry Hills. They are now often seen living wild and free, with sources claiming tennis champion Lleyton, 44, fears Mia is being led astray, according to Woman's Day. 'Lleyton is just like any dad out there and is super protective, especially of his girls. He is very much serving up the tough dad act right now,' an insider said. 'He wants Mia to be happy but he thinks she's still too young to be getting into any kind of serious relationship.' From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. The publication went on to claim there are signs a 'Beckham-style feud is brewing behind the scenes'. The former Wimbledon star was reportedly unimpressed with images that emerged last year of Mia and Vanda smoking and acting up for cameras. He is said to want Mia to experiment and enjoy life, but not at the cost of a healthy lifestyle and quality time with the family. 'Living her dreams is important but so is maintaining her relationship with her family,' the source said. Notably, Mia is the only member of the Hewitt family who follows Vanda on social media. Not even her younger brother Cruz can be found in Vanda's follow list, despite the singer following the 16-year-old's Instagram account. Mia and Vanda have frequently been spotted spending time together at the beach and with their friends. In September last year, the rising star, often dubbed a 'nepo baby', performed her first gig with her band Father's Favourite. They are now often seen living wild and free, with sources claiming tennis champion Lleyton fears Mia is being led astray. Pictured with his wife Bec Hewitt Mia, the daughter of Lleyton and his Home and Away star wife Bec, looked stylish in a tiny white skirt and black top as she wowed the crowd at a brewery in Sydney. Her band's Instagram page describes the group as a 'bohemian folk rock duo'. Mia was earlier seen during an outing with a group of friends in Sydney's Rose Bay as they stepped out at Rose Bay House for a meal. The Father's Favourite folk singer shocked onlookers as she was seen smoking during the outing. Her rock star boyfriend Vanda, the lead singer of the band Liquid Zoo, also acted up for the cameras as he was seen wearing shades and swearing while the group laughed. The duo were also joined by one of Vanda's Liquid Zoo bandmates as they all got out of Mia's car together and headed for a bite to eat. Mia's parents, Lleyton and Bec, met on the tennis court for a charity game at the Starlight Cup back in 1999. The couple didn't reconnect until a few years later and finally met up in person in 2005, before getting engaged after a whirlwind romance that lasted six weeks. Grand Slam champion Lleyton married actress Bec 18 years ago in a romantic ceremony at the Sydney Opera House. As well as singer Mia, they also share another daughter, Ava, 14, and son Cruz.

Ben Affleck emerges after ex Jennifer Lopez released her heartbreak song Wreckage of You about their divorce

Just a few days after his ex Jennifer Lopez dropped a new song about their tumultuous relationship, Ben Affleck was spotted out for the first time. Lopez debuted a new song called Wreckage of You during an exclusive listening party for 30 lucky fans in Los Angeles last week. The 55-year-old singer played six new tracks - five upbeat tracks dubbed Up All Night, Regular, Free, Save Me Tonight and Birthday - and a ballad dubbed Wreckage of You, which reports reveal the latter was about the aftermath of her second marriage to Affleck. While Affleck has yet to publicly respond in regards to the new song, he was spotted having dinner with a friend at the West Hollywood hotspot Steak 48 on Monday. The actor was spotted with a friend at the establishment, where they dined for over two hours. He was seen wearing a white button-up dress shirt, dark blue jeans and brown boots for the dinner outing, while carrying a jacket. During the exclusive fan event last week, Lopez revealed that she co-wrote and recorded the song two weeks ago, via US Weekly. One fan in attendance - Edgardo Luis Rivera - revealed, 'She said she was lying in bed after a long day of tour rehearsals when the idea of the song came to her.' 'She mentioned how last year was a very difficult time for her both personally and professionally. She had to cancel her tour and really focus on herself,' the fan added. 'Fast-forward to one year later, and she feels better and stronger than ever, so she wanted to write a song about coming out of a bad situation much stronger,' he said. He said that she, 'kept thinking of the word "wreck" because it means destruction, but she wasn't destroyed,' adding one of the songs lyrics are, 'I'm stronger after the wreckage of you.' Another unnamed fan in attendance added Wreckage of You was a, 'very emotional, empowering song about walking away from a relationship and coming out a stronger person.' The exes are still trying to sell their $60 million marital home that they bought in May 2023, nearly a year after tying the knot for a second time. They separated for a second time in April 2024, with Lopez filing for divorce in August 2024. The exes are still trying to sell their $60 million marital home that they bought in May 2023, nearly a year after tying the knot for a second time. While the divorce was finalized this February, they have still failed to sell the home, which they initially listed for $68 million in July 2024. They dropped the price to their break-even point at $60 million after failing to find a buyer, but the home was recently taken off the market entirely. An i nsider exclusively told the Daily Mail, 'Ben and JLo slashed the price on their Beverly Hills mansion for $8 million less than they paid for it, but this is nothing to Ben.' 'He really just wants this to be sold so that he can cut the final cord that keeps him and Jennifer intertwined,' it was added.

16 & Pregnant star Whitney Purvis penned memorial for man whose overdose death she's charged in

MTV star Whitney Purvis, who appeared on the reality show 16 and Pregnant, penned an emotional memorial for the man whose fatal drug overdose she was formally charged with on Monday. Purvis, 33, took to the site of the funeral home which handled arrangements for John Mark Harris, a 37-year-old chef who authorities said Purvis provided deadly drugs to. 'John mark, I hate that I found out what happened today and missed your funeral,' Purvis wrote on the Henderson & Sons Funeral Home site March 3. Purvis posted the message more than three months before she was arrested Monday in Floyd County, Georgia in connection with with involuntary manslaughter and distribution of a controlled substance, among other felony counts, TMZ reported Monday. 'I wish I could've found out sooner and attended your celebration of life,' the reality star said. Purvis thanked her late confidante 'for being such a great friend to me and always making me feel beautiful and cared for.' Purvis said that her late friend had been a dear one, as they grew close over their passion for cooking. 'We bonded over being chefs, our love of cooking and our struggle,' she said. She praised Harris for his candor and intelligence in their interactions over the years. 'I could tell you anything and you always knew what to say or give me your honest opinion and advice,' Purvis said. The MTV alum added 'You've came to my rescue on many occasions and saved me over the years. 'I am so very thankful for the times we had together.' Purvis - who's also charged with use of a communication device to commit a felony involving controlled substances - said that she was dealing with serious emotional trauma over the loss of her friend. 'My brain just can't process this happened. I don't want it to be true,' she said. Purvis listed off a number of things she associated with him that she would miss in the wake of her friend's passing. 'I'll miss waking up to your silly messages and pictures you'd send me,' she said. 'I'll miss marshal and lunchbox. I'll miss your amazing cooking. I'll miss snuggling on the couch watching tv with you. 'I'll miss sitting outside, smoking camel crush cigs w/ you how we talked about talked about life, gossiping and you telling me what movies/shows I need to watch next.' Purvis characterized her late friend as 'a truly good hearted, one of a kind man' who she would 'never forget.' Purvis, who has more than 17,500 followers on Instagram, wrapped up in saying: 'Rest in peace and my condolences to your family and friends. 'I pray they are able to find some kind of comfort during this tragic time. I love you forever, John Mark. Love, Whitney.'
