Pokémon Concierge delighted fans when its first season was released back in late 2023, with its adorable visuals and charming storytelling landing it among the best Pokémon media ever made.
The stop-motion animated series saw the burned-out Haru teaming up with a shy Psyduck to become the best Pokémon resort concierge in the business, and fans of Pokémon and newcomers alike fell in love with their cute antics. Since then, fans have been desperate for more news about Pokémon Concierge, and we finally have a firm release date for Pokémon Concierge season 2.
After previously announcing a release window for Pokémon Concierge season 2, The Pokémon Company used its recent Pokémon Presents presentation to give us more details about the new season.

Set in a resort on a tropical island resort for Pokémon, rookie concierge Haru and her partner Psyduck interact with Pokémon guests in this heartwarming story of growth.
In the new episodes, Haru has grown a little and is no longer a newbie. She and her partner Psyduck welcome many new Pokémon to the resort, including Sealeo, Shinx, Luxray, Arcanine, and Corphish. Haru spends fun and relaxing days surrounded by these guests, occaisionally handling any problems that pop up. One day, a guy named Kent (voiced by Keita Machida) appears, and he seems to be Haru's ex-boyfriend. Why did he come to the resort? What will happen with his relationship with Haru? Plus, Tyler's uncle Dan (voiced by Kazuhiro Yamaji) arrives at the resort with the Sealeo that has accompanied him for 15 years. Dan, who sometimes looks a little forlorn, is troubled by something...

He weaves his way through the crowd, high-fiving everyone he passes, until he's back onstage for the big finale. 'Let's go, Liam!' cheers fellow judge Nicole Scherzinger, who — along with third judge Kelly Rowland — was clapping and singing along the whole time. When Payne returns to his chair, he looks ahead with a big smile and says, 'That was so fun.' It's a beyond-sweet moment that can offer a minor bit of comfort to Directioners that Payne definitely felt their love before his untimely death. The new clip begins with the message 'In loving memory of Liam Payne.' When the Netflix show premiered earlier this month, host AJ McLean of Backstreet Boys dedicated the series to Payne and his loved ones. 'When we came together to film Building the Band, we never imagined we'd soon be saying goodbye to our friend Liam Payne,' McLean says in the first episode. 'Liam is a guest judge in later episodes, and through his presence, we see his deep love for music and his unwavering commitment to helping others find their voice. It's through that spirit that we dedicate this series to Liam and his family.' Building the Band was one of the final projects Payne worked on before his death in October. About two months after wrapping filming in August, he suffered a fatal fall from the fourth-floor balcony of his hotel room in Buenos Aires. High levels of alcohol and other substances were in his system at the time of his death, toxicology reports later confirmed. With the blessing of Payne's family, Netflix moved forward with streaming Building the Band, which separates hopeful singers into closed-off pods where they then seek to assemble a musical group before ever seeing one another. The third and final batch of episodes will be available to stream starting Wednesday. Jussie Smollett to speak in Netflix documentary about hate crime hoax
Jussie Smollett's alleged hate crime hoax is the subject of an upcoming Netflix documentary. The streamer announced Tuesday that 'The Truth About Jussie Smollett?' will be released on the platform Aug. 22, according to Deadline. Producers of the true-crime hits 'Tinder Swindler,' 'Trainwreck' and 'Don't F**k with Cats' are behind the 90-minute project, comprised of interviews with police officials, lawyers, journalists and Smollett himself. The film centers on the yearslong legal saga launched by Chicago investigators, who determined the 'Empire' actor staged a 2019 hate crime attack as a 'publicity stunt' to advance his career. The documentary has been described as the 'shocking true story of an allegedly fake story that some now say might just be a true story.' In a statement to The Hollywood Reporter, director Gagan Rehill said the film 'is a thrilling ride, and we were lucky enough to have access to the key players.' Smollett claimed in January 2019 that unknown assailants attacked him on a Chicago street, punching him in the face, pouring a chemical substance on him and putting a noose around his neck while yelling racial and homophobic slurs. Two brothers associated with Smollett, Abimbola and Olabinjo Osundairo, later confessed to having been involved in a scheme orchestrated by the openly gay actor to make it look as though he'd been accosted by Trump-supporting extremists. The 43-year-old NAACP Image Award winner was arrested and later found guilty on a handful of charges related to the incident. He was sentenced to 150 days in jail in 2022, but was released after six days pending an appeal. His conviction was overturned last November as part of a plea deal with prosecutors in exchange for community service and the forfeiture of his $10,000 bond. Smollett, who has always denied any wrongdoing, also agreed to donate at least $50,000 to Chicago's Building Better Futures Center for the Arts organization to resolve the city's lawsuit against him. _____
