Browns Quarterback Deshaun Watson Makes Personal Announcement
With the NFL season still two months away, Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson had an update to share regarding his personal life.

The Browns acquired Watson in March 2022 and immediately signed him to a five-year, $230 million contract. He hasn't lived up to that deal, that's for sure. In 19 career appearances for the Browns, he has completed 61.2 percent of his passes for 3,365 yards with 19 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.
Another issue for Watson is that he hasn't been healthy. He suffered a torn Achilles tendon in Week 7 of the 2024 season. The veteran quarterback tore his Achilles yet again during his recovery process.
The Browns don't expect to have Watson at any point during the 2025 season. They're expected to start either Joe Flacco or Kenny Pickett. Of course, there's an outside change Dillon Gabriel or Shedeur Sanders perform well in training camp.
While those four quarterbacks get ready for a training camp battle, Watson is enjoying life with Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Jilly Anais.

On Thursday night, Watson revealed that he's now married to Anais. He shared a photo of their diamond wedding bands on his Instagram account.

Watson's post also showed "07.03.25" stitched on the arm of his white shirt.

Anais, a 2025 Swim Search finalist, represented the iconic magazine on the runway during Miami Swim Week. She currently has 2.4 million followers on Instagram.
As for Watson's career as an NFL quarterback, we're not sure what the future has in store for him. All we know is that he's not ready to retire.
"Everyone is doubting me." Watson said. "Everyone don't believe in me, Everyone don't think I can get back to where I was. But I know, and I believe the work that I put in, that I believe in myself. The peace that I've been channelling the last couple of months. I know, I'm gonna be way better than before."

'Picture this: It's 2019, and I'm hunched over a laptop in a tiny apartment, fueled by instant noodles and big dreams. With just $4,000 in my pocket (less than the cost of one Louis Vuitton handbag at the events we now staff), I launched Premier Staff,' Meursing said. Just a few years before founding Premier Staff, he was a loan officer at EZ Fundings Home Loans, making a decent but decidedly average salary. 'But here's the kicker — it wasn't about how much I made, it was about how I used it.' He explained that the first step in his journey to millionaire status was embracing frugality like it was going out of style. 'I lived in a shoebox apartment, drove a car that was more rust than metal, and became a connoisseur of the dollar menu. Was it glamorous? About as glamorous as a pair of socks at a black-tie event. But it allowed me to save over 50% of my income.' He continued, ''But Daniel,' I hear you say, 'that sounds miserable!' And sure, there were moments when I questioned my sanity. Like the time I found myself dumpster diving for a slightly used office chair instead of buying a new one. But every dollar I saved was a dollar invested in my future.' Check Out: According to Meursing, investing is where the true magic really happens. He said, 'I treated my savings like they were the last lifeboat on the Titanic — precious and not to be wasted. I dove headfirst into learning about investing, treating it like a second job.' At first, he started with index funds, maxing out his 401(k) and IRA. 'But I didn't stop there. I researched individual stocks, studied market trends, and even dabbled in real estate. Remember that rust bucket of a car? Well, I used the money I saved from not having a car payment to buy my first rental property.' However, Meursing equally noted it wasn't all smooth sailing. 'I made mistakes. Like the time I invested in a 'can't miss' tech startup that turned out to be about as successful as a screen door on a submarine. But I learned from each setback, adjusting my strategy and pressing forward.' While working as a loan officer, Meursing also moonlighted as a server at high-end events to establish another income stream. 'This not only padded my savings account but also gave me the idea for Premier Staff. I saw a gap in the market for luxury event staffing and decided to fill it.' He added, 'But here's the real secret sauce — I didn't quit my day job right away. For months, I worked 9-5 as a loan officer, 6-10 building Premier Staff, and whatever hours were left planning my financial future. Sleep became a luxury I couldn't afford — kind of like those Gucci shoes I now help serve champagne around.' Meursing explained that the real turning point came when he landed his first big client. 'It was a small fashion event on Rodeo Drive — not exactly the Met Gala, but to me, it felt like I'd hit the jackpot. I poured every ounce of energy into making it a success, treating it like I was staffing the Oscars — little did I know that would come later.' He said that one event led to referrals, which led to bigger events. 'Before I knew it, Premier Staff was the go-to agency for luxury events in LA. We've staffed parties for Will Smith's family, kept things classy at Emmy Awards after-parties and even helped Justin Bieber celebrate a birthday. But here's the thing — even as the business grew, I kept living like I was on that loan officer's salary.' He added that every extra dollar went back into the business or into investments. 'It was like playing a real-life game of Monopoly, where every property I landed on, I bought.' The journey to millionaire status isn't a sprint, it's a marathon — and Meursing said the finish line keeps moving. 'I'm constantly learning, adapting, and looking for new opportunities. Dolphins' throwback uniforms garner top billing, timeless recognition
Diehard Dolphins fans know that there's something special about Miami's throwback uniforms. Worn from 1966-1973, these original Dolphins threads housed the perfect 1972 season. It's this uniform that fans and staff remember each year when those champagne bottles pop to commemorate the fact that Miami still stands alone as the NFL's lone franchise to author an unbeaten season. And the Dolphins' throwbacks are receiving their proper recognition from CBS. In its ranking of the NFL's top throwback uniforms and helmets, the Miami Dolphins grabbed the No. 1 spot. Former Minnesota Vikings LB heads out west in PFF's 2014 NFL re-draft
The NFL Draft remains the second-biggest event in the NFL calendar behind the Super Bowl. Like it or not, it also remains one of the biggest things that fans and media enjoy going back and analyzing to see "what could have been." Pro Football Focus has done a good job this offseason by starting a re-draft series that we have been tracking here on Bucs Wire. In their latest draft, they looked back on, it just so happens to be one of the more impactful ones in recent memory for the Minnesota Vikings franchise: The 2014 NFL Draft. Anthony Barr was the Vikings' top draft pick in their class in the 2014 NFL Draft. In the re-draft, he did not get to the Vikings but instead stayed closer to home and his college of UCLA by being drafted by the Denver Broncos. Sikkema writes up the pick, saying, "Barr made four Pro Bowls with the Vikings and earned an 83.8 career PFF pass-rushing grade. He finished his second season, 2015, as one of the 10 most valuable linebackers in the league, according to PFF WAR. Barr and Brandon Marshall would have formed one of the better linebacker units in the NFL." Barr would have a Super Bowl ring to his credit this way, while the Vikings would be left scrambling for more defensive help than they would have imagined.
