‘All is fine now' – Harry Maguire to join up with Manchester United team-mates on tour after personal matter

The 32-year-old was a half-time introduction in Saturday's 0-0 friendly draw with Leeds but was replaced in the 74th minute, then conspicuous by his absence from Tuesday's 32-man tour squad.
Maguire remained at home due to a personal matter and the player has now confirmed he will only be a day late joining up with Ruben Amorim's men Stateside.
'All is fine now,' Maguire posted on an Instagram story. 'I will be travelling tomorrow to meet up with the squad. Thanks for your concern.'
Alejandro Garnacho, Antony, Jadon Sancho and Tyrell Malacia have unsurprisingly joined Barcelona-bound Marcus Rashford in being omitted from the travelling party heading for Chicago.
The five are searching for new clubs and have been training away from Ruben Amorim's first-team squad since indicating that they wish to explore a future away from Old Trafford.
Bryan Mbeumo is part of the group after completing his move from Brentford on Monday for a fee rising to a potential £71million.
Fellow summer arrivals Matheus Cunha, whose partner recently gave birth, and Diego Leon are also on the plane.
Lisandro Martinez is included as he continues his rehabilitation from a cruciate ligament injury sustained in February. PA understands the United defender is not yet ready for team training.
Amorim's side are flying from Manchester to their base in Chicago, where they will play Bournemouth at Soldier Field on July 30 as part of the Premier League Summer Series.
They start the pre-season tournament at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey – host of next year's World Cup final – against West Ham on Saturday evening local time.
United finish their three-game trip against Everton at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Atlanta on August 3.
Amorim's side welcome Fiorentina, including United great David De Gea, to Old Trafford for their final warm-up friendly on August 9 – the weekend before their Premier League opener at home to Arsenal.

Leona Maguire one stroke off the lead after bright start at Scottish Open

Leona Maguire has been chopping and changing caddies of late but saw an immediate impact in having veteran bagman Phil 'Wobbly' Morbey in the ISPS Handa Scottish Open, where an opening round 67, five-under-par, saw the Solheim Cup star trail leader Charlotte Laffar of England by one stroke at Dundonald Links. Morbey caddied for Ian Woosnam in his Masters win back in 1991 and more recently for Denmark's Thorbjorn Olesen, who has the same management company – Modest Golf – which led to the pairing. 'He's a legend of the game. He's caddied for some big players. I have big shoes to fill but nice to have his expertise and experience on the bag. It's his first time on the ladies, so still a little bit of a learning adjustment for both of us but I think we handled it pretty well day one,' said Maguire, who started her bogey-free round by holing out with a 9-iron for eagle on the opening hole. The event is a co-sanctioned tournament on the LPGA Tour and the LET and feeds into next week's final Major, the AIG Women's Open at Royal Porthcawl. READ MORE Maguire has moved into some form of late with a tied-seventh place finish in the Evian Masters and top-20s in the Dow Championship and the KPMG Women's PGA to move inside the top-50 on the LPGA Tour order of merit. 'This is not the firmest but you still have to be creative with the wind and things like that. Hopefully the course will keep drying out as the week goes on and we'll get more linksy,' said Maguire. The Cavan golfer's former caddie Dermot Byrne was on the bag for Irish Open winner Lottie Woad, competing as a professional for the first time. The 21-year-old shot a 67 to be in the five-way tie for second. Of Woad's impressive form and move onto the LPGA Tour through the pathway programme, Maguire said: 'I'm sure there's quite a bit of pressure on her but hopefully she's surrounding herself with some good people. 'You saw with Rose Zhang a couple years ago, she got off to a very hot start too. There will be a lot of new things for her the next few weeks and months, but I'm sure she's well able to handle it.'

Big spending Arsenal sign Cristhian Mosquera from Valencia

Arsenal have made Valencia defender Cristhian Mosquera their fifth signing of the summer, taking the club's spending to close to £140million. Spaniard Mosquera joins for an initial fee of £13m – with performance-related add-ons – and is understood to have agreed a five-year deal with an option of a further year. The 21-year-old is set to provide cover for William Saliba and Gabriel at the heart of the Gunners' defence, but can also operate anywhere along the backline. Mosquera, who played 41 times for Valencia last season, has joined Arsenal for their tour of Singapore and Hong Kong. "It means a lot to me," Mosquera told the club website. "There's been a lot of hard work behind all of this. "It's an opportunity that came up and I couldn't let it pass me by. I'm joining a historic, massive club. When you arrive here with your family, you really feel the greatness of this place." New sporting director Andrea Berta has wasted no time in improving Arsenal's squad as manager Mikel Arteta eyes the club's first Premier League title in more than two decades. "Cristhian has already performed consistently well with significant experience in La Liga. He is an intelligent player with good pace, who can play centrally and on both sides," Arteta said. "He is a young player with exciting talent and enormous potential, who will fit well into our squad as we continue to prepare for next season. Cristhian adds good quality to our squad, and we look forward to working with him and making him feel at home with us." Mosquera follows Spain midfielder Martin Zubimendi (£60m), goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga (£5m), Christian Norgaard (£10m) and Noni Madueke (£48.5m) in moving to the Emirates. Gabriel and Myles Lewis-Skelly have also put pen to paper on new contracts in the off-season, with a long-term extension for teenager Ethan Nwaneri believed to be all-but completed. Arsenal remain hopeful of signing striker Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting Lisbon, although it is not believed a deal, which could be worth as much as £65m, is imminent.
