Let's fly through the All-Star Game starters, which we got.
Last night, the American League will be Cal Riley behind the plate.
Vlad Junior at first base, Glaber Torres at 2nd, Jacob Wilson, former guest on this show.
At shortstop, the first rookie shortstop starter in All-Star history, I believe; Jose Ramirez at 3rd base; the outfielders Aaron Judge, Riley Green, and Javi Baez.
Ryan O'Hearn will DH in his first All-Star game appearance.
Jordan, anything from the AL?
Yeah, I think just the Tigers, the three Tigers is really awesome.
Green, well deserved; his power surge this year has been amazing.

Glaber, well deserved; you know, it's a weak AL second base crop, but he's having an amazing season.
I think he's got like a .380 on-base percentage, a really fun season there.
And then Javi Baez is just one of the best stories of the entire season.
It is funny that he gets voted as an outfielder because he very quietly has just reclaimed his job as the shortstop, but Baez starting in center for the AL All-Star game is amazing.
The amazing thing is that he was traded for the other center fielder in this game, which is Piar Armstrong, just a delightful little nugget there.
Let's go to the NL.
Behind the dish, Will Smith, at first base, Freddie Freeman; second base, Keibert Marte, who is the highest vote-getter in round two of the voting.

Lindor at shortstop in his first ever All-Star start, and his first All-Star game as a Met, both of which sound impossible.
Manny Machado at 3rd base in his 7th All-Star game, Ouna, Piar Armstrong and Kyle Tucker with the Cubs all in the outfield.
The DH is gonna be Shohei Ohtani.
We knew that already.
This from Opta stats about Ouna.
Ouna made a season debut in the Braves' 50th game.
The only other player in MLB history to start the All-Star game despite not making his season debut until his team's 50th game or later was Joe DiMaggio in 1949.
That is a fantastic fun fact.
And yeah, I'll just talk about Keibert Marte.

Like last year, he finished 3rd in MVP voting with a 155 OPS plus, and I was like, wow, ... ... ... ... ... ... ...
I didn't think he'd ever get back to his 2019 levels.
This year, 175 OPS plus for Ketel Marte.
He is sensational, uh, one of the best players in baseball.

Williamson has RBI double, Castillo strikes out 8 in 7 innings as Mariners beat Pirates 1-0
SEATTLE — Ben Williamson had an RBI double in the sixth inning, Luis Castillo tossed seven innings, and the Seattle Mariners beat the Pittsburgh Pirates 1-0 on Saturday night. Williamson, who came in with just one RBI since May 29, patiently waited on a cutter down in the zone from Pirates reliever Caleb Ferguson (0-3) and smacked it into the right-center gap to put the Mariners in front.

Emil Forsberg scores a goal as Red Bulls and Earthquakes play to 1-1 tie
SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) — Emil Forsberg scored a goal in his second consecutive game for the New York on Saturday night as the Red Bulls and the San Jose Earthquakes played to a 1-1 tie. Forsberg ran onto a ball played by Peter Stroud, zig-zagged to evade a pair of defenders near the penalty spot and then slipped a rising shot inside the left post to open the scoring in the 19th minute. Advertisement An own goal on New York's Mohammed Sofo, who redirected a cross played by San Jose's Cristian Espinoza into the net, made it 1-1 in the 58th minute. San Jose played a man down after DeJuan Jones was shown his second yellow card in the 64th. New York (8-7-6) is winless in four straight. Carlos Miguel Coronel had three saves for the Red Bulls. New York's Raheem Edwards was shown a straight red card in the 87th minute. Daniel De Sousa Britto — known simply as 'Daniel' — stopped three shots for the Earthquakes. San Jose (7-7-7) is unbeaten in four consecutive games. ___ AP soccer:

Pittsburgh Pirates at Seattle Mariners odds, picks and predictions
The Pittsburgh Pirates (38-51) and Seattle Mariners (46-42) play the second game of their 3-game series Saturday. First pitch from T-Mobile Park in Seattle is set for 10:10 p.m. ET (FS1). Let's analyze BetMGM Sportsbook's MLB odds around the Pirates vs. Mariners odds and make our expert MLB picks and predictions for the best bets. Season series: Mariners 1-0 The Mariners shut out the Pirates 6-0 Friday night, cashing as -171 home favorites with the Under 7 hitting. SP Bryan Woo was dominant, tossing 6 scoreless innings with 8 strikeouts. Seattle launched 4 home runs, including 2 from C Cal Raleigh, who leads the MLB with 35 homers on the season. The Pirates saw their 6-game win streak snapped Friday, managing just 5 hits. 2B Nick Gonzales accounted for 3 of those hits, but the offense struck out 12 times. Starter Bailey Falter took the loss (5 2/3 IP, 3 ER (4 R), 3 H, 4 K, 3 HR) as Pittsburgh's bats went quiet in Seattle. Pirates at Mariners projected starters RHP Mike Burrows vs. RHP Luis Castillo Burrows (1-2, 4.15 ERA) is making his ninth appearance and eighth start. He has a 1.30 WHIP, 2.6 BB/9 and 9.1 K/9 through 34 2/3 innings. Castillo (4-5, 3.55 ERA) is making his 18th start. He has a 1.29 WHIP, 3.0 BB/9 and 7.4 K/9 through 96 1/3 innings. Pirates at Mariners picks and predictions Mariners 6, Pirates 3 Moneyline PASS. I like the Mariners (-175) to win Saturday but I'll take the plus-odds on the run line. Run line/Against the spread BET MARINERS -1.5 (+125). Pittsburgh came into Friday night riding a 6-game win streak, but the Mariners quickly put an end to that momentum with a dominant shutout victory. While another shutout might be a stretch, I like Seattle to win comfortably again on Saturday evening. This sets up perfectly for Castillo to grab his first win since May 19. He's been outstanding at home this season, posting a 2.60 ERA at T-Mobile Park. The Mariners have won 7 of the last 10 matchups against the Pirates, with all 7 victories coming by at least 2 runs. Pittsburgh continues to struggle in interleague play (7-15) and has been brutal on the road, going just 12-30. A big reason is their lack of production away from home—they're hitting just .212 on the road, the second-worst mark in MLB. With a pitching edge, home-field advantage, and historical matchup success, don't overthink it. Take the Mariners on the run line at plus-odds this Fourth of July weekend. Over/Under BET OVER 7 (-125). This one's a bit of a gut call, but I'm leaning toward the Over in Saturday's matchup. The total is set low, and while Castillo has been solid at home, he's still allowed 5 earned runs over his last 12 innings there. The Over has hit in 3 of the last 4 meetings between these teams, as well as 4 of Castillo's last 5 starts and 3 of Burrows' last 4. Expect some runs in this one.
