Taylor is also represented by Eddie Hearn's Matchroom Boxing - Joshua's long-time promoters.
So when Paul & Co stage the historic trilogy fight - talks with Hearn over a shock AJ bout will also be on the agenda.
Paul's promotional partner Nakisa Bidarian said: "Anthony Joshua, I think that's the main one that we talked a lot about...
"He's adamant that he wants to make that fight happen at the end of 2026 and we're gonna meet with Matchroom while we're in New York to promote the greatest trilogy in the history of boxing."
Paul had his first heavyweight fight in November when Mike Tyson controversially came out of retirement aged 58.
The YouTuber-turned-boxer won over eight, revised two-minute rounds but admitted the TWO STONE
Paul, 28, returned to the 14st 4lb stone limit of 200lb in victory over former middleweight world champ Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, 39.
And after his ten-round points win he once again opened the door to moving back up to fight Joshua, 35, taking inspiration from Deontay Wilder, 39.
Paul said: "I'm definitely not a heavyweight but I'm still gonna take the challenge.
Jake Paul faces off with world champ Zurdo Ramirez
"But you know, look at Deontay Wilder, he was beating these guys weighing 215lb.
"Granted he's like 6'6 or something but anything is possible and I like the challenge.
"People's criticism is fight someone in their prime, who's a beast. I think people just want to see me lose! That's really what the message is behind it all.
"And Anthony Joshua is an insane fight, but I want that challenge. We've been DMing back and forth.
"He wants to make it happen. He called me up and it's looking very likely for next year."
Paul's victory California against Chavez - who won the 160lb title 14 years ago - looks set to land him a world ranking in the WBC and WBA.
Anthony Joshua is an insane fight, but I want that challenge. We've been DMing back and forth. He wants to make it happen.
Jake Paul
And he called out world champs Gilberto Ramirez, 34, and Badou Jack, 41.
But criticism will remain levelled at Paul having lost to Tyson Fury's brother Tommy via split-decision in 2023.
The American hit back to insist he is out to avenge that defeat to Fury, 28, which came only three years after turning pro.
He said: "I don't even think I was a fighter then.
"I was like two years, two and a half years into the sport and I didn't really know what I was doing. I didn't have the proper team around me, the proper conditioning.
"My lifestyle outside of the ring was still that of like a YouTuber, celebrity actor, whatever I was at that point. So I wasn't fully focused on boxing.
"Like I said, this feels like chapter one's done tonight. Now we're moving into chapter two and I'm just getting warmed up in this sport.
"But people hold the Tommy Fury thing against me, but what now? I just beat a former world champion and I'm coming to avenge that loss as well with Tommy."

UPenn to ban transgender athletes, ending civil rights case focused on swimmer Lia Thomas
The University of Pennsylvania has agreed to ban transgender women from its women's sports teams to resolve a federal civil rights case that found the school violated the rights of female athletes. The US Education Department announced the voluntary agreement Tuesday. The case focused on Lia Thomas, the transgender swimmer who last competed for the Ivy League school in Philadelphia in 2022, when she became the first openly transgender athlete to win a Division I title. It's part of the Trump administration's broader attempt to remove transgender athletes from girls' and women's sports. Under the agreement, Penn agreed to restore all individual Division I swimming records and titles to female athletes who lost out to Thomas, the Education Department said. Penn also agreed to send a personalized apology letter to each of those swimmers. It wasn't immediately clear whether Thomas would be stripped of her awards and honors at Penn. The university must also announce that it 'will not allow males to compete in female athletic programs' and it must adopt 'biology-based' definitions of male and female, the department said. Education secretary Linda McMahon called it a victory for women and girls. 'The Department commends UPenn for rectifying its past harms against women and girls, and we will continue to fight relentlessly to restore Title IX's proper application and enforce it to the fullest extent of the law,' McMahon said in a statement. The Education Department opened its investigation in February and concluded in April that Penn had violated Title IX, a 1972 law forbidding sex discrimination in education. Such findings have almost always been resolved through voluntary agreements. If Penn had fought the finding, the department could have moved to refer the case to the Justice Department or pursued a separate process to cut the school's federal funding. In February, the Education Department asked the NCAA and the National Federation of State High School Associations, or NFSHSA, to restore titles, awards and records it says have been 'misappropriated by biological males competing in female categories.' The most obvious target at the college level was in women's swimming, where Thomas won the national title in the 500-yard freestyle in 2022. The NCAA has updated its record books when recruiting and other violations have stripped titles from certain schools, but the organization, like the NFSHSA, has not responded to the federal government's request. Determining which events had a transgender athlete participating years later would be challenging.

Real Madrid vs Juventus player ratings: Valverde impresses for Madrid during valiant Di Gregorio performance
Real Madrid beat Juventus 1-0 in the Club World Cup on Tuesday night in Miami, with Los Blancos booking a place in the quarter-finals of the competition. The match started slowly at the Hard Rock Stadium with both sides trading blows in the first half, but it sprung into life when Gonzalo Garcia headed in from Trent Alexander-Arnold's cross. Madrid dominated from there as Juventus slowly faded, with the Italians simply unable to put together any spell of sustained attacking pressure as Madrid closed the game out well. And it was a composed display from Xabi Alonso's side, who have now booked a quarter-final tie against either Borussia Dortmund or Monterrey. Real Madrid Thibaut Courtois, 6 Had little to do but was fine when called upon. He'll face tougher tests in the upcoming rounds. Antonio Rudiger, 6 Was solid overall and did enough to put off Kolo Muani with that early chance. Aurelien Tchouameni, 7 Marshalled the Madrid defence well and was solid throughout. Dean Huijsen, 7 Defended well when needed as was solid in possession too. Had little to do in truth. Trent Alexander-Arnold, 7 Provided his usual crossing threat but was occasionally caught too high up the pitch, though his assist for the opener was a typically superb cross. Jude Bellingham, 6 Was quiet in the first half but ended up producing one of the best chances of the opening period, though he couldn't finish it. Controlled midfield throughout. Fede Valverde, 7 Provided his usual goal threat from both distance and within the box, and tested the 'keeper on occasion, though probably should've scored. Managed to control midfield throughout. Arda Guler, 6 The young Turkish playmaker showed plenty of invention and some great passing and touches, but was unable to make a mark on the match. Fran Garcia, 6 Constantly looked to support Vini Jr and the Madrid attack, though wasn't too effective. Defended well when called upon. Vinicius Jr, 5 The Brazilian was industrious throughout but was often guilty of a sloppy pass and final ball, and wasn't able to create or finish any chances. Gonzalo Garcia, 7 Was quiet early on but finished the opening goal brilliantly and was a willing runner throughout before being replaced by Mbappe. Substitutes Kylian Mbappe, 6 – Was central to the Madrid attacking effort after coming on, and was a real threat. Luka Modric, 6 – showed flashes of his brilliance even in a tiny 10-minute cameo. Dani Ceballos, N/A – Came on in the 90th minute. Juventus Michele Di Gregorio, 7 Made two good saves in the first half from Bellingham and Valverde, and several more in the second half. Could do little about the opening goal. Pierre Kalulu, 6 Managed to keep Vini Jr quiet along with Alberto, though was nowhere for the goal when he probably should have been taking care of Garcia. Daniele Rugani, 6 Was solid enough in parts and wasn't at fault for the goal, though wilted under the sustained Madrid pressure later on. Lloyd Kelly, 6 As with the rest of the back three, was solid in the first half but wilted a little in the early period of the second. Came off injured. Alberto Costa, 6 Managed to keep Vini Jr fairly quiet and didn't wilt when Mbappe came on, though didn't offer enough going forward. Manuel Locatelli, 6 Was never able to stamp his authority on the midfield but showed a good passing range. Kephren Thuram, 6 Was excellent in possession at times but was mostly unable to contest the physical midfield battle with Madrid. Andrea Cambiaso, Offered a wide threat and helped keep the width for his side, though couldn't find that final bit of quality in attacking areas. Francisco Conceicao, 5 Fired a header straight at Courtois early on. Was threatening at time but too often guilty of not making enough of his possession, and was hooked before the hour mark. Kenan Yildiz, 7 Was influential throughout and posed a constant threat to the Madrid defence, with most of Juve's attacking play going though him. Randal Kolo Muani, 6 Was a constant threat too but missed a golden chance to make it 1-0 early on, and faded as the game went on. Substitutes Nico Gonzalez, 6 – Was industrious when he came on, trying to make things happen, but could do little to help a limp Juve attack. Filip Kostić, 6 – Was anonymous in his cameo as Juve's attacking threat faded. Teun Koopmeiners, 6 – Was anonymous in his cameo as Juve's attacking threat faded. Weston McKennie, 5 – Didn't have enough time to affect the game. Federico Gatti, 5 – Didn't have enough time to affect the game.

Bill Belichick hit with UNC bombshell just two months out from his first game as coach
The University of North Carolina is set to undergo a major change for the leadership within its athletic department just a few months before Bill Belichick coaches his first football game. UNC is re-organizing its athletic department - with Athletic Director Bubba Cunningham set to move to a new position. After assuming the job in November of 2011, Cunningham is entering his final year in his current role before transitioning to a job as Senior Advisor to the Chancellor and Athletic Director next summer. The move was announced alongside the news that Cunningham agreed to a contract extension of two years. Replacing him will be Steve Newmark, the president of the NASCAR team Roush Fenway Keselowski (RFK) Racing. RFK Racing is a division of the Fenway Sports Group - which also owns the Premier League 's Liverpool FC, MLB's Boston Red Sox, and the NHL's Pittsburgh Penguins. 'As part of my last contract extension, I committed to working with University leadership on a succession plan that would positively position Carolina Athletics and our 28 teams for the future,' Cunningham said in a statement. 'I appreciate the opportunity to extend my contract and enhance my role in a way that will allow me to continue to support our outstanding student-athletes, coaches and staff as we transition and navigate the changing athletics landscape. I am excited for the future.' In the interim, Newmark will take on the role of Executive Associate Athletic Director - with the position reporting to Cunningham and initially focusing on strategies to generate revenue for the Tar Heels' football, men's basketball, and women's basketball teams. Cunningham came under fire earlier this year for a controversy in another role he held as the chairman of the selection committee for the 2025 NCAA men's basketball tournament - also known as March Madness. He was accused of favoritism when UNC was selected as one of the last four teams to make the NCAA tournament - prompting an investigation from the West Virginia attorney general into possible collusion. Cunningham denied being a part of the decision to include the school he works for.
