Brad Pitt 'cuts ties with two of his kids' after bitter divorce from Angelina
Brad Pitt is reportedly cut ties with two of the children he shares with ex-wife Angelina Jolie. The 61-year-old Fight Club actor and Angelina, 50, tied the knot it 2014 after a whirlwind romance that started on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith back in 2005.
The pair, once considered a golden couple of Hollywood, parted ways in 2016, sparking a high-profile split that saw Angelina file for divorce in the same year. A series of bitter disputes over custody and business interests followed, some of which remain unresolved - despite them finalising their split this year.
The ex-couple's legal wrangles have included battles over their six children and the division of their shared assets, such as their Château Miraval winery located in France - dubbed the battle of rosé.
Brad and Angelina share a brood of six: Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, Zahara, 20, Shiloh, 19, and twins Knox and Vivienne, both 16. However, Brad has a strained relationship with Pax, who once called him a 'world-class a**hole'.
After Pax was pictured stumbling out of the Chateau Marmont with pals last month, a source close to Brad claimed the actor was no longer concerned with "what Pax does or doesn't do".
"Brad honestly considers his relationship with Pax unfixable," they added. He is seemingly ready to cut ties with one more child while holding out hope for the remaining children.
Shiloh, 19, legally changed her surname last year when she turned 18 to Shiloh Nouvel Jolie, dropping the 'Pitt'. Meanwhile, at least three of the other four kids have informally dropped Brad's surname.
Many of the children seem to have a strained relationship with Brad as their other son, Maddox, was allegedly involved in a physical confrontation with the actor on a private jet in 2016.
When asked about his relationship with his dad, he told In Touch Weekly in 2019: "Whatever happens, happens."
The source went on to tell MailOnline that Brad blames Angelia for the fractured relationship with their kids, but another source claimed the Fight Club star "continues to play the victim". The Mirror have reached out to reps of Brad and Angelina for comment.
Brad recently made a very rare comment about the closure of his divorce proceedings. He said "I don't think it was that major of a thing. Just something coming to fruition. Legally."
In a candid GQ interview, Brad touched upon the relentless media attention he's faced, remarking: "It's been in the news for 30 years, bro. Or some version of my personal life, let's put it that way."
When Brad and Angelina's divorce was finalised, her lawyer released a statement saying: "Frankly, Angelina is exhausted, but she is relieved this one part is over.'
Lawyer James Simon added to the Associated Press: "More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr Pitt. She and the children left all of the properties they had shared with Mr Pitt, and since that time she has focused on finding peace and healing for their family. This is just one part of a long ongoing process that started eight years ago.'

"I was doing that and not talking about it and pushing through. When something terrible happened–which it did–I would go into disaster mode or go home and take care of it and go back to work for another day." Jim revealed that his health troubles began as a teenager, when he started to lose the use of his legs and found lesions on his spinal cord. Things got so bad, he said, that at one point he "wanted to die." He suffered pain, headaches, muscle spasticity, and paralysis but top neurologists couldn't figure out what was wrong. He said things got worse after college, when he started a job on Wall Street. He told Fast Company: "Wall Street comes with a lot of macho ego. It couldn't have been a worse choice. I had to stand up in a crowd all day. It was super high-stress, which is inflammatory and devastating for a condition like mine. "It increased symptoms of fatigue and pain, and it brought on new ones like IBS and other things I couldn't control. I was walking with a limp and I didn't want to get into the 'why.' So for most of the time I lied. I said I'd been in an accident–often it was motorcycle accident–because that fit perfectly, that's kinda cool and that's tough enough." He explained how he hid his condition from employers and colleagues for years and said he was "depressed" from the the embarrassing consequences caused by the crippling IBS, reports MailOnline. IBS is a common condition that affects the digestive system. It can cause stomach cramps, bloating and diarrhoea. It's usually a lifelong condition but lifestyle changes and medicine can help. The exact cause is unknown – it's been linked to things like food passing through your gut too quickly or too slowly, gastroenteritis, oversensitivity in your gut, stress and a family history of IBS. There's no test for IBS, but you might need some tests to rule out other possible causes of your symptoms. The GP may arrange a blood test to check for problems like coeliac diseas or other tests on a sample of your poo to check for infections and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).

She once said love is lovelier the second time round when she found romance again following divorce. Now, Scots TV presenter and author Carol Kirkwood has said the joy she has found after marrying her second husband is what allows her to write freely about love. The 63-year-old, from Morar in Lochaber, tied the knot in December 2023 with policeman Steve Randall, 49. While coy about her personal life, she says the bliss she has experienced since meeting Mr Randall plays a significant part in her literary freedom. Ms Kirkwood spoke to MailOnline ahead of the release of her new book, Meet Me At Sunset, which tells the story of a glamorous woman who jets off to Majorca as she runs from a shattered love affair. Asked if she uses any personal details in her books, she said: 'No element of our romance is in any of my books but Steve makes me happy and that makes it easier to write about romance. 'He makes me smile when I come in from work. It puts you in a good position mentally.' It isn't the first time that Ms Kirkwood has turned her hand to writing – she is also the author of Under A Greek Moon, The Hotel on the Riviera, Secrets of the Villa Amore and Once Upon a Time in Venice. Discussing what inspires her, she revealed the main protagonist of her latest novel is based on a mysterious stranger she saw on holiday. She said: 'I was in Majorca with my husband and we went to this restaurant a couple of times. 'There was a lady who sat very upright and was impeccably dressed. She always had a salad and a glass of wine. 'She was always looking out to sea. It got me wondering 'what is her story?' 'I thought 'She's going to be a character in my book.''
