Essex Police share appeal for missing teenager with Southend connections
John Paul, 16, went missing from his Luton home at the start of the week and is described as being 5'8', slim and with dark brown hair.
The teenager is believed to have connections with Southend, prompting Bedfordshire and Essex Police to ask south Essex residents for help in finding him.

A spokesperson for Bedfordshire Police said: "Can you help us find missing John Paul?
"The 16-year-old was last seen leaving his home in Luton on Monday morning.
"John Paul is described as 5'8' tall, slim with dark brown hair.
"Anyone who has seen John Paul or knows of his whereabouts is asked to report online here: https://orlo.uk/tGHGO or call 101 quoting reference MPL/1192/25."
Essex Police have added that John Paul has connections to Southend.

Police then deployed a large number of deputies, along with TAC-30, and K-9 units in response to the report, according to FOX 13. Neighboring agencies were also reportedly notified. Approximately three hours later, authorities called off the search without locating Decker. The update comes after the Chelan County Sheriff's Office, which initiated the search for Decker, previously announced the department is scaling back its manhunt efforts in response to a decrease in tips from community members. Last month, a tipster called in a potential sighting of Decker while visiting Idaho's Sawtooth Forest. However, the tip proved to be a false alarm after authorities located the man thought to be Decker. The 33-year-old father has been missing for over two months after the bodies of his three daughters – Paityn, 9, Evelyn, 8, and Olivia, 5, – were found at Rock Island Campground on June 2. The girls' mother had reported them missing three days earlier after they did not return home following a court-mandated custody visit with their father. Days later, the girls' bodies were found just steps away from Decker's abandoned pickup truck with their hands bound and plastic bags over their heads Decker, a military-trained survivalist and former member of the U.S. Army, was nowhere to be found, sparking an expansive manhunt by numerous local, state and federal agencies – including the U.S. Marshals Service and Border Patrol's Tactical Unit. Authorities warn that Decker should be considered armed and dangerous but insist they have no reason to believe he is a threat to public safety. He is charged with three counts of aggravated first-degree murder and kidnapping. The U.S. Marshals Service is offering a $20,000 reward for any information leading to Decker's arrest. The King County Sheriff's Office did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.

Police issue major update after violent brawl in Newport
Six men and one teenager have been charged with violent disorder following a brawl in Commercial Road in Newport on Friday afternoon, August 1. An eighth arrest has also been made by Gwent Police, which confirmed the 40-year-old man remained in custody at this time. Officers were called to the scene of violence in Pillgwenlly at around 3pm on August 1. All six men charged have been remanded in custody and will appear at Newport Magistrates' Court on Monday, August 4. "Officers were called to Commercial Road after a group of men were seen fighting in the street at around 3.20pm. "Six men, aged 25, 28, 33, 45, 42 and 52, and one 17-year-old boy who are all from Newport were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder. "All seven have been charged with violent disorder, the six men will be remanded into custody while the 17-year-old boy has been released on police bail. "All seven are due to appear at Newport Magistrates' Court on Monday 4 August. "An eighth person - a 40-year-old man from Newport - has also been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and is currently in police custody." Chief Superintendent John Davies said: "I hope that these charges show our communities that we are heavily invested in responding to and investigating reports of crime and that we are committed to helping keep the streets of Gwent safe. "A large number of officers have worked tirelessly to investigate and secure these charges, and we will continue to work with our partners to identify the issues and tackle the causes surrounding this incident. Man charged with kidnap after reports of firearms being discharged
A MAN has been charged with kidnap after reports of a firearm being discharged. Thomas Pasquariello, 18, of Westmill Road in Ware is charged with kidnap, threatening a person with an offensive weapon in a private place, possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, and assault by beating. Officers were called with reports of a disturbance and the sound of a firearm being discharged in the area of Barn Mead, Harlow, at about 4pm last Thursday. Officers quickly made enquiries to establish the circumstances of the report and arrested Pasquariello on Friday morning. He has been remanded in custody to appear at Chelmsford Crown Court on September 2. Essex Police is appealing for further witnesses who may be able to assist in the investigation.
