Meath v Galway live stream: How to watch the All-Ireland clash online
Meath and Galway do battle in the first of Sunday's All-Ireland Senior Football Championship quarter-finals. Donegal and Tyrone advanced to the last four of the Championship on Saturday following their respective wins over Monaghan and Dublin. They will be joined in the semi-finals by the winners of Meath v Galway and Armagh v Kerry. Both of Sunday's games are being shown live on RTE Two, with their coverage starting at 1.15pm. The action can be streamed online via the RTE Player in Ireland and on GAA+ for those abroad. Galway are favourites for Sunday's clash, but Tribesmen star John Maher knows they will have their work cut out for them. "This is a very balanced team and they didn't beat Kerry by fluke or they didn't beat Dublin by fluke," noted Maher. "Both of those victories were earned by Meath. They're very organised this year and we'll have our work cut out for us. "They have some strong backs. They go in hard, they tackle hard, they're a good turnover team. They're solid and strong in the middle, two strong midfielders, and then up top they have some nice forwards with great two-point-kicking ability."

Omens are good that Damien Duff will be back
In the days following Damien Duff's abrupt departure from Shelbourne, the focus was on what the effect might be on the League of Ireland. Duffer's Stardust had propelled it to the back and occasionally, the front pages. And while the surge in popularity over the last few years feels like it is sustainable, there's no doubt that this is a setback for a league that was only getting used to being the centre of the national sporting conversation. But whatever about what's next for the league, one wonders what will be the next step for Duff? Even allowing for his interview on Shels' in-house channel two days before his resignation, where he lamented the fact that all the energy had to come from him, his decision last Sunday still felt hasty and impulsive, the sort of thing he may have been regretting in the car as he drove back to Wicklow. Damien Duff. Pic: Michael P Ryan/Sportsfile His exit, just two weeks before a massive Champions League local derby against Linfield, created loads of memes about the fact that Duff leaves once the going gets tough, which is a little unfair, considering where he has brought this club over the past three and a half years. But his track record of hasty retreats from Ireland, Celtic and now Shels does not make for good reading. There may have been different reasons for each departure, but it may give any ambitious chairman of a Championship club in England pause for thought if they were thinking of appointing the Ireland legend. Duff has always claimed that he wants to remain in Ireland, but that he could also never see himself managing another team in the league. Damien Duff. Pic: Stephen McCarthy/Sportsfile So, that just leaves Shelbourne as his only avenue back into management. Over the past few years, Duffer has proven to be impossible to second-guess. But if he regrets his decision last Sunday, might there be a way back for him at Tolka Park? Maybe this decision was not final. A European showdown with the champions of the North, a winnable tie even for a Shelbourne team who have been struggling for form, and then Europe might open up into an odyssey. It is just the sort of thing that could make Duff have second thoughts. Perhaps, where he will end up next is the place he left so abruptly last Sunday? Stranger things have happened.

‘He deserves it' – Stephen Kenny ‘absolutely thrilled' for ex-Ireland coach Keith Andrews after getting Brentford job

But the goals have dried up recently. The Saints have netted just once in a five-game winless streak. And they became the first team to fail to score this season against bottom side Cork City with Pat's still sixth. Speaking after Friday's scoreless draw, Kenny said: 'Not taking the lead is hurting us. 'We probably didn't do enough in the second half to win but we should have gone in ahead. I don't know why we're not scoring at the moment. We're just missing our opportunities and snatching at chances.' Kenny feels the run of games since the mid-season break — which included losses to Shelbourne and Derry City — has compounded their situation. He explained: 'The five games in 14 days is the most intense period of the season. It can make or break you. I've always tried to use those periods as a psychological advantage to press ahead. 'It's been a poor two weeks for us. We've gone from having an unbeaten home record for a full year to losing two 1-0s. 'Momentum can take you up but it's had a negative effect on us. We haven't capitalised on the opportunities.' TURNING IT AROUND But Kenny believes his squad can turn their season around, like they did last year. He insisted: 'We're in a better position than we were this time last year. 'Going into 'We weren't in a great position but we actually went on an incredible run of league and European games. The spirit in the team is good.' With the transfer window to open on Tuesday, Kenny maintained that Pat's will not be making rash signings. And he stated: 'We're not making knee-jerk decisions. 'Midfield has been a little issue for us this year. Romal Palmer has not been available the whole year and Chris Forrester has been out for nearly eight weeks. We'll see about that.'
