Boy, 6, found covered in blood after having genitals cut off in 'voodoo' attack
A six year old boy was discovered in a ditch, drenched in blood after being pinned down, pepper-sprayed, and horrifically mutilated. Rumours suggest the assault might be linked to voodoo or Satanism.
The young boy was found bleeding profusely, wailing for help, coated in his own blood amidst South African bushland. Locals hastened to his rescue upon hearing his desperate cries.
Initially fearing he had been stabbed, they were appalled to realise he had been castrated.
He was located on rugged terrain near a gold mine within the Blue Skye informal settlement, perilously close to death due to blood loss, as reported by The Mail Online. The community of Boksburg in Gauteng Province was left reeling from the news of the gruesome attack, with parents deeply concerned for their own children's safety.
One local, who wished to remain anonymous out of fear of retaliation, said: "Who would do such a thing to such a little boy – it really is the cruellest of the cruel. To pepper spray the little boy is bad enough but to cut off his genitals is just barbaric and that kid will have mental issues for the rest of his life.", reports the Mirror US.
Another resident said: "The rumours are it is Satanism or taking body parts for a voodoo ritual but this little boy will now not be able to have children ever."
Resident Chantel Naude expressed her concerns, saying: "I am considering moving out of the area as we feel unsafe as I have boys as well and don't want them attacked as well. I know the boy and he is often around looking for a bit of food or a bit of loose change and he gets by and is always smiling and is always polite.
"He was found out in an overgrown field with his genitals missing and unable to see properly due to the pepper spray which is dreadfully painful on its own."
The emergency services declined to confirm if both his penis and testes were affected. Boksburg South African Police station commander Colonel Matshedeso Mbele confirmed that they are investigating a case of attempted murder.
She would not comment on the nature of his severe injuries and stated it is currently unclear whether adults or older children perpetrated the attack.
Colonel Mbele noted that the assault occurred on March 1, with paramedics swiftly transporting the victim to hospital, where he is now thankfully in a stable condition.

Millionaire safari boss gored and stamped to death by elephant in horror safari attack
It is the third horrific death at the reserve inside a year after rangers David Kandela and Philani Sibiya were killed with the elephants understood to be part of the same herd The co-owner of one of the world's leading game reserves has been trampled to death after being speared by an angry elephant. Gondwana Private Game Reserve boss FC Conradie was gored by the six-ton animal as the Chief Executive Officer was charged at the safari park. He was trying to move the huge creatures away from tourist lodges when one reacted badly, and suddenly attacked the 39-year-old. After the injured millionaire was thrown to the floor, the elephant stamped on him, killing him instantly. A Gondwana Private Game Reserve spokesman confirmed: "It is with profound sadness that we confirm the passing of FC Conradie who was our CEO in a tragic incident earlier today." "It involved an elephant bull and this heart-breaking event has shaken us all. Our full support is first and foremost with his wife and family who have suffered an unimaginable loss and we ask that their privacy be respected as they face this tragedy. The leadership team are focused on providing every possible support to them and our staff many of whom have lost both a leader and a friend and a mentor here at Gondwana. "We are working closely with the relevant authorities to fully understand the circumstances surrounding this tragic incident and at this time we are unable to provide further comment. We thank everyone for their messages of compassion and support." It comes after two rangers David Kandela, 36, and Philani Sibiya, 33, were killed in separate incident after being trampled to death by elephants while going about their duties at the reserve last year. The elephants that killed the CEO and Mr Kandela are understood to be part of the same herd. South African Police spokesperson Officer Kappie Kapp said: "It was reported at 8am on Tuesday that an employee at Gondwana Game reserve was attacked by an elephant. He had been trampled and mauled by the elephant and the emergency services declared the man dead at the scene and rangers moved the elephant away to another area. An inquest has been opened and a full investigation is underway." Earlier this year, a Spanish tourist was crushed to death in an horrific stampede in the country . The visitors died front of his screaming fiancee after he got out of his car to take photographs in a South African game reserve. The four visitors were driving round the Pilanesberg National Park close to the world famous tourist resort Sun City when they spotted a breeding herd with three young by a lake. Despite warnings from his three fellow passengers to get back into the car the tourist, aged 43, said he wanted to get close-ups of the six elephants and got out and walked towards them. A huge 3.5 ton adult female cow protecting the young members of the herd was spooked and charged at the man and she was joined by the other two adult bulls who also attacked. The screaming Spaniard was racing back with his camera to safety through the bush to his friends in the car but was overtaken by the chasing herd who knocked him down and trampled him to death. All that witnesses said was left was left after the 30 second attack was the tattered blood-soaked clothing of the tourist and the remnants of what was the tourist's body crushed into the earth. It is understood the dead man was on holiday from Spain with his fiancee and was with two of her South African friends from Johannesburg when the tragedy happened on Sunday morning. A North-West Parks & Tourism Board spokesman said: 'The elephants moved away immediately from the scene without any aggression towards the nearby vehicles and disappeared in the bushes. The guest was a male Spanish citizen who had entered at Bakgatia Gate with three friends and not far from the gate had come across a breeding herd of elephants feeding a distance from the road. According to eye witnesses the man decided to alight from the vehicle and approach the elephants on foot taking pictures.'' 'Despite warnings from his fellow passengers and occupants from two other vehicles that were at the sighting he unfortunately did not heed the warnings. An adult elephant cow charged at the man who then ran from the elephant. He was unfortunately not able to escape or evade the elephant which was now joined by the whole herd and was caught and trampled to death.

What happened to Amy Bradley's former dance partner Alister 'Yellow' Douglas?
A new Netflix documentary explores the disappearance of Amy Bradley from a cruise ship in 1998 and her last known dance partner Alister 'Yellow' Douglas Almost three decades ago, a young woman vanished without a trace from a cruise ship while on holiday with her family, and the search for her continues to this day. A new Netflix documentary delves into the mysterious disappearance of 23 year old Amy Bradley from Royal Caribbean's Rhapsody of the Seas in 1998, exploring various theories about her fate, ranging from falling overboard to being trafficked. The three-part documentary reveals that she was last seen with cruise ship entertainer Alister Douglas - nicknamed 'Yellow' due to his dyed hair - on the night she went missing. The pair were spotted dancing together late into the night at the onboard nightclub. Her father last saw her resting on the balcony of their shared cabin, reports the Mirror US. The documentary synopsis states: "On March 23, 1998, 23-year-old Amy Bradley disappears without a trace from the cruise ship she and her family were vacationing on. "Despite extensive searches of the ship, Amy is nowhere to be found and the cruise has already docked in their next port, Curaçao, allowing 2,400 passengers to disembark and explore the island, potentially enabling Amy to blend into the crowd. "As the years roll by, possible sightings of Amy emerge from various locations and multiple sources. Is it really her? Was this a tragic accident or a crime? - anything is conceivable. But for Amy's family - only one thing matters: bringing their daughter home alive." What became of Alister Douglas? Alister was interrogated by the FBI following Amy's disappearance and willingly took a lie detector test. He was let go without any charges, as there was no evidence to suggest he was involved in her disappearance. Despite being absolved of any blame, his name is frequently mentioned on online forums discussing the Amy Bradley case, as he was one of the last people to see her on the ship. The musician's daughter even features in the documentary, calling him on camera to question him about what he knew about the missing holidaymaker. He maintains that he has no idea what happened to her. Where is Alister Douglas now? Since being questioned about Amy's disappearance, Alister has kept a low profile. However, in October 2024, true crime investigator James Renner located Alister in Grenada and uploaded an interview with him on his YouTube channel True Crime This Week. He posted on Facebook: "This trip to Grenada was a long shot, hail-Mary play, but sometimes things work out. I have the first interview in 20 years with Alister Douglas aka 'Yellow'." Alister reportedly now works as an exorcist on the island while continuing his music career. He insists he had nothing to do with Amy Bradley's disappearance.
