Bullseye creator in clever business move that could make him a fortune after success of ITV reboot

THE creator of darts game show Bullseye is cashing in with a new range of merchandise. The 1980s telly classic has landed new fans thanks to an ITV reboot. 2 The creator of darts game show Bullseye is cashing in with a new range of merchandise 2 Andrew 'Freddie' Flintoff has received rave reviews for his hosting of the show Credit: ITV Andrew Wood has now applied to trademark the name across everything from aftershave and jewellery to clothing and chocolates. The original consolation prize merchandise given away on the show was a tankard for men or silver goblet for women, a bendy rubber doll of the show's brown bull mascot 'Bully' and chalk holders. Mr Wood's paperwork was lodged on July 9. It extends to mobile phone apps and computer games — an avenue that could generate huge income for his Bullseye Group Ltd. Quirkier options covered by the trademark include sandwich toasters, fairy lights, laundry bins, berets and cuticle clippers. Trademarks have not, however, been sought for the show's star prizes of speedboats or caravans. Bullseye originally ran for 13 series under host Jim Bowen from 1981-1996. ITV revived the much-loved show last year for a Christmas special, hosted by Andrew 'Freddie' Flintoff and following a spike in interest in darts led by teen sensation Luke Littler. Following rave reviews for Freddie's efforts, ITV has commissioned a full run which will air this year. Freddie said: 'I love the darts. Bullseye was one of my favourite shows as a kid. You can't beat a bit of Bully!'

And things continue along the same path, with tense words exchanged after brutally honest clips play out on screen. This evening will see a furious Toni shout at Blu, as he questions her behaviour. A clip is replayed of Cach crying on the terrace and being comforted by Ty, after Toni recoupled with Harrison in recent weeks. Now, Cach and Toni's romantic spark has been reignited, but that didn't stop Blu from shouting over to Toni: 'How do you feel about that, Toni?' Toni coldly replies: 'Everyone knows how I feel about it.' She also says: 'Now do you see how you make people feel,' referring to a clip they showed of her best pal in the villa, Shakira, crying. But Blu shoots right back: 'Did you see what you did to Cach?' Toni has none of it, as she fires back: 'Shut the f*** up. Talk about situations that you've been here for.' Love Island fans claim desperate Harry is 'picking fight' with Helena in a bid to hook up with her villa rival The comments have been flooded by fans slamming Blu for piping up, with one person writing: 'Blu is trying so hard to be relevant 6 weeks later and get some air time.' Another penned: 'Blu give it a rest please you ain't it,' and a third echoed: 'Blu trying so hard to be iconic now that he knows what the public thinks. Get him out.' The Grafties have caused fiery exchanges between the Islanders, as they've witnessed conversations play out on screen that they had no idea about. Harry's actions in particular have been exposed, much to the shock of Helena. And according to viewers, footballer Harry picked a fight with Helena on purpose and used the information received during The Grafties as a way out. Fans watched last night as an angry Harry accused Helena of playing games and not being 'all about him' when she returned to the villa after the Sleepover. A bemused Helena argued it was 'weeks ago' and was not the same as him flirting outrageously with a number of girls, most recently Angel. Harry was seen becoming riled by Helena's previous behaviour - although they weren't even together at the time. Viewers have now clocked Harry's escape plan - so he can go back to ex Shakira - who he was previously coupled up. Harry barked during their heated chat at The Grafties: "I thought you were all for me when you came back?" Toni noted: "He's just trying to pick a fight with her." Conor agreed: "That's crazy behaviour." The official Love Island Instagram account asked fans: "Is Harry picking fights or bringing up fair points?" Users commented: "Picking fights as an excuse to crawl back to Shakira and blame Helena." A second predicted: "When you wish to end a relationship, you find every little thing about the other person irritating, and that is what Harry is trying to do." A third agreed: "Harry has some cheek after all he has said and done - that was pure excuse to slip off from Helena on to Shakira." "Welcome to Harry's Gas Lighting class, please take your seats," mocked another. "He's trying to start something just to start something," mused a fan. 4 Harry's actions in particular have been exposed Credit: ITV
