The blockbuster boasts an all-star cast including Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Tom Hiddleston as Loki and Sir Ian McKellan returning as Magneto.
King Charles, who is Ranger of Windsor Great Park, is said to have been made aware but is set to be on his Balmoral estate in Scotland during filming.
Marvel multiverse movie Avengers: Endgame is the second highest grossing movie of all time, raking in more than £2billion.
Marvel Studios, which is owned by Disney, has paid a fortune in location fees to erect its sets next to Windsor Castle in Berkshire — with the money going towards maintaining the park.
Windsor Great Park is owned by Crown Estates and the King gets 25 per cent of its annual profits.
The exact price tag is not known but a source said: 'Several million pounds is chicken feed to Marvel when their movies make billions.
'But the money will go to the upkeep of Windsor Great Park so the King of course has a keen interest.
'Some of the profits of Crown Estates make their way to the Royal Family so it's a win-win for everyone.
'The Royal Family may even be persuaded to pop by and have a look at Thor in action.'
Planning documents estimate up to 300 crew and cast will be on site for filming this summer.

Although the scenes to be shot at Windsor and the actors involved in them are being kept under wraps, the files show one set is listed as Luke Cage's House and the other is Annie Reynolds' House.
Cage is the alter-ego of Power Man with superhuman strength and unbreakable skin, while Reynolds is thought to be a new character as the mother of Sentry.
Our exclusive photos show a 1960s-style US house for Cage that has already been built.

William has been President of Bafta since 2010.
In 2023, Wills and Kate took kids George and Charlotte to meet the cast and crew of Lord of the Rings telly spin-off The Rings of Power, being filmed in Ascot.
The Princess of Wales has previously revealed Prince Louis' favourite superhero is Marvel character Spider-Man.
A spokesman for The Crown Estates did not want to comment.

What's REALLY ‘cool'? Key 6 traits revealed by study – and the definition is universal

WHETHER it's James Bond, Maverick, Billie Eilish or Dolly Parton - we all have a celebrity we admire and some are more popular than others. Usually if we admire or like someone, we also think of them as 'cool'. And there's no doubt it's one of the best personality compliments you can get. 1 Even if it's hard to put your finger on why someone is 'cool', science has attempted to do so. Researchers asked thousands of people across the globe what it means to be cool. And it turns out, the feeling is universal - most people agree, regardless of their culture. Asking 6,000 people from countries around the world, scientists found people in at least a dozen countries agreed on the definition. The participants were asked to think of someone who they thought was cool, not cool, good or not good. They then rated the person's personality and values. The researchers used the data to explore how cool people differ from uncool people and good people. Cool people were perceived to be more: Extraverted Hedonistic Powerful Adventurous Open Autonomous. There were some crossovers with what was deemed a 'good' person. Co-lead researcher Dr Caleb Warren, an associate professor of marketing at the University of Arizona, said: 'To be seen as cool, someone usually needs to be somewhat likable or admirable, which makes them similar to good people. 'However, cool people often have other traits that aren't necessarily considered 'good' in a moral sense, like being hedonistic and powerful.' Good people were perceived as more conforming, traditional, secure, warm, agreeable, universalistic, conscientious and calm. Marvel's Captain America, for example, or even Harry Potter, may be seen as 'good' over 'cool'. Co-lead researcher Dr Todd Pezzuti, an associate professor of marketing at the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez in Chile, said: 'Everyone wants to be cool, or at least avoid the stigma of being uncool, and society needs cool people because they challenge norms, inspire change, and advance culture. 'The concept of coolness started in small, rebellious sub-cultures, including Black jazz musicians in the 1940s and the beatniks in the 1950s. "As society moves faster and puts more value on creativity and change, cool people are more essential than ever.' Only participants who were familiar with the slang meaning of the word 'cool' were included in the study, published by the American Psychological Association. What are the big 5 personality traits? The Big Five personality traits, also known as the Five-Factor Model (FFM), are widely recognised dimensions of human personality that help scientists to group people together in studies. They are used in psychology, career assessments, relationship counselling, and even marketing. It has previously pinpointed that neuroticism, for example, is more linked to an Alzheimer's diagnosis. The five types are: Conscientiousness: This describes someone who is responsible, careful, and goal- and detail-oriented. They have high impulse control and tend to be organised Agreeableness: This describes a person who is respectful, compassionate, trusting and tries to avoid problems. They tend to be more cooperative and are helpful Neuroticism: This describes someone who gravitates toward unsettling emotions, such as anxiety and depression. They get upset easily Openness: This describes a person who is open to new experiences and curious about the world. They are creative and happy to talk about abstract ideas Extraversion or Extroversion: This describes someone who seeks excitement and is active and highly sociable. They are talkative, have a lot of emotional expressiveness and are energised around others

Martina Navratilova rips into Pedro Pascal after he criticized JK Rowling in trans feud

Tennis legend Martina Navratilova has criticized Hollywood star Pedro Pascal after he reignited his bitter feud with J.K. Rowling over her views on transgender issues. Pascal, who is due to appear in Marvel's summer blockbuster The Fantastic Four in a matter of weeks, branded Rowling a 'heinous loser' in an interview with Vanity Fair. The 49-year-old, who has a transgender sibling, originally lashed out at the best-selling author on Instagram earlier this year after she praised a Supreme Court ruling protecting women-only spaces. The Chilean-born actor described Rowling's reaction as 'awful, disgusting' and 'heinous LOSER behavior.' Speaking to Vanity Fair, Pascal appeared to take aim at Rowling again, claiming he acted because he 'hates bullies'. 'The one thing that I would say I agonized over a little bit was just, "Am I helping? Am I f***ing helping?"' he said. 'It's a situation that deserves the utmost elegance so that something can actually happen, and people will actually be protected. Listen, I want to protect the people I love. But it goes beyond that. Bullies make me f***ing sick.' The Harry Potter creator, 59, hit back in typically savage fashion and said: 'Can't say I feel very shut down, but keep at it, Pedro. God loves a trier.' Now Navratilova, who has also been a staunch critic of trans women in the past, backed Rowling in response to her post on X. The tennis legend added: 'Another Johnny come lately telling women to STFU.' The row originally erupted after Rowling posted a defiant photo of herself smoking a cigar on a boat, with the caption: 'I love it when a plan comes together,' celebrating the court ruling which banned biological men from using single-sex spaces such as women's toilets, hospital wards and changing rooms. That photo sparked outrage from Pascal, who responded furiously online and has continued to attack Rowling in public. The actor, who has starred in The Last of Us and Game of Thrones, previously shared a post declaring: 'I can't think of anything more vile and small and pathetic than terrorizing the smallest, most vulnerable community of people who want nothing from you, except the right to exist.' Rowling has become a leading voice in the gender-critical movement, often clashing with trans rights activists and celebrities who oppose her views. The 68-year-old Navratilova, one of the all-time greats in tennis who won 18 major titles in her career, has also been a consistent voice in calling for lawmakers to protect women's sports and stop biological men from competing. She has also been a critic of Donald Trump but has lamented hesitancy from the Democrat party in following the lead of Republicans on the issue. In April, she said on X: 'I hate that the Democrats totally failed women and girls on this very clear issue of women's sports being for females only.'

TV show with two big name stars quietly cancelled after just one season

The series was created by American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy OUT TO SEA TV show with two big name stars quietly cancelled after just one season – leaving fans gutted A CRUISE ship melodrama has been quietly cancelled after just one season – despite being led by Dawson's Creek hunk, Joshua Jackson. The series, which was created by Glee and American Horror Story's Ryan Murphy, premiered in September last year in the US, before dropping on Disney+ in the UK. 6 Doctor Odyssey has been cancelled after one season Credit: Getty 6 The cast was led by Joshua Jackson as a doctor on board a cruise liner Credit: PA 6 The barmy series also starred Don Johnson Credit: Getty Doctor Odyssey, which saw Jackson play Max Bankman, the new physician on board the titular luxury cruise liner, has now unfortunately been given the push by US network, ABC. According to Variety, the cast's contracts are set to expire today, with the network not putting the show back on its schedule. As a result, it seems like the comedy-drama, which became known for its campy predicaments each week, is dead in the water. This comes despite the strong cast including Miami Vice legend Don Johnson as the ship's loveable captain, Hamilton star Phillipa Soo as Bankman's nurse practitioner, Avery Morgan, and Skins' Sean Teale as fellow nurse Tristan Silva. READ MORE DISNEY PLUS STARLET TO SUPERSTAR Meteoric rise of Olivia Rodrigo from Disney star to Glasto headliner Doctor Odyssey followed the various medical issues Bankman and his team had to deal with while on the ship. The bizarre catastrophes ranged from one passenger contracting iodine poisoning after overdoing it on the all-you-can-eat shrimp, to a plastic-surgery loving woman whose nose fell off after snorting cocaine. As all this unfolds, the close quarters of the staff gives way to romance, prompting a review in The Telegraph comparing it to 'a cross between ER and The Love Boat'. It's 'bonkers' plot lines also include Max declaring himself 'the first person in the US to contract Covid' which sparked a new zest for life when he survived. Throughout the show's initial run, Doctor Odyssey was also filled with megastars appearing in cameo roles – including Shania Twain, Angela Bassett, Kelsea Ballerini and John Stamos. However, it seems the jam-packed cast wasn't enough to keep the show afloat. At the time of writing, none of the main cast have commented on the show's cancellation. But fans have flocked to X (formerly Twitter) begging their "weird" and "nonsense" series to be saved. "They really cancelled Doctor Odyssey and I feel personally attacked. Yeah, it was chaotic," wrote one. "Yeah, it didn't always make sense. But it had heart and in the end, I weirdly loved every minute of it. I'm gonna miss this messy, unserious emotional gem." "I don't know how they'd do it but they need to get Doctor Odyssey on a new channel somehow. I don't care if they have to have a major budget cut and it has to be filmed on a dinghy. Just bring it back to me," said another. While a third wrote: "I'm mourning the loss of #DoctorOdyssey today. I was hoping for Season 2 where the group goes through the Bermuda Triangle, goes back in time and sees dinosaurs." 6 Despite being "nonsense" fans grew attached to the show Credit: Getty 6 The series became known for its whacky catastrophes on board Credit: Getty
